The food itself was good -- nothing mind blowing but tasty. However, we asked for our food to go and after paying our while and waiting a bit, we never received our to go food (which was like almost 2 whole sandwiches). I forgot about it because we lingered for a while and I'm not sure why it would take so long to pack up a sandwich. Partially on me for forgetting, but also disappointed in the slow service. I shouldn't have to remind someone to pack up my food and give it to me.

Decided to get food from this location and when I arrived I parked on the street nearby! I walked into the cutest little restaurant. I was greeted and sat and served by Katerina and a really nice server! I ordered: Bolognese Pasta Affogato Amaretto Chanti wine The food and wine were good! The Affogato was a great dessert! All in all, I had a really good experience!

Chill vibe, very lowkey. Focaccia was legit. The service was alright. Food came out fasttttt. Quick spot to eat some bread before you go out haha. Lots of carry out orders pulling through.

Plenty of options available at this elegant pasta and panini spot. Sure, the gourmet sandwiches are pricey, but they're big, and the quality of the ingredients is top. I split a Fresh Truffle on an onion focaccia that was to-die for. Their sangria is also very good, and so was their complementary pistachio cream shot... mmh. The tiramisu was very little for its price tag. The staff is super nice, too. They have another location in the UES (mostly take out) and a much bigger one (100 seats) coming up in Morningside in the fall (can't wait for this one). Recommended.

I had the focaccia with potato which was the star of my sandwich. So soft, buttery, and a slight crunch from the potatoes. The perfect bite. I felt the prosciutto to be a little salty and the sandwich I had modified to have no cheese but still came out $20. I'm not sure how it came out being an extra 50% more expensive but the cashier assured me she'd customize my sandwich accordingly.

Fresh Truffle sanddd-A-beeech, trust me it's big & delicious

Spending more & more time in the city these days. Saw a post about Panineria somewhere with a positive review and decided to have a sanddd-A-beeech. Drove to St Marks Pl. Walked in, it's a small place in a 'residential' neighborhood off of 5th Ave. This was mid afternoon. There were people walking in & picking up orders. It does have a few tables for 'dinning in'. It looked clean & had a nice aroma of... herbs & food. The staff was extremely friendly. After perusing the menu for a few minutes, decided on the Fresh Truffle sanddd-A-beeech (prosciutto de parma, organic mozzarella, truffle cream, organic arugula & truffle oil). I had a choice of three breads - baguette, ciabatta or potato focaccia. I chose the potato focaccia based on two recommendation from the staff, ordered it warm. Finally it came out, back to grandma's. Woe, that is huge, Jurassic Park size. Probably feed a family of four from elsewhere in the world. I was somewhat disappointed with the flavor of the potato focaccia - lacked something...seasoning...onion, like a French potato/onion tart... Will be back soon

I ordered a sandwhich through DoorDash from here. Specifically the Vegetarian burrata Sandwhich which I added a chicken cutlet and pesto sauce to for an upcharge. When my sandwich came all it had was a chicken cutlet, tomatoes and some pesto sauce. No arugula or burrata cheese, which is what they advertise to come on the sandwich already

Writing an update because I cam back today and it was so good. Got my usual, the Peppe panino and this time the baguette was warm and crunchy. Unreal. They redid the inside and changed ther furniture both inside and outdoors. Great experience.

Pasta Burrata Salad I like how the burrata dictates the flavor and the macaroni the texture. Smart delicious combo

This place made me wish i had 3 stomachs Everything. And i mean everything on the menu is Certified 5 star general deliciously amazing. Small place with small staff but every bit of my experience in this restaurant was pleasant. I had a macaroni n burrata salad.mind blowing flavor.that alone was 5 stars. I also had some sandwich there with arugula, mortadela, mozz, sun dried tomatoes! Fire as well. Honestly this place so good id do my daughters quinceañera here..definitely bookmark worthy spot. Cant wait to come back n kill the rest of the menu

Came here for an event. It's a cozy Panini shop that also has pasta. I like the lemon trees wrapped around the pipes above the counter, and they have fun Halloween decorations up. Tried a few different sandwiches. Service was friendly. Bread was great, as was the mozzarella and salami. Going to have to come back and try a couple others.

The food and service were incredible at Panineria! I definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Very cozy inside and lovely ambiance.

I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! I love how friendly the staff was here and how unpretentious it all was. Next time we are in NYC- we will definitely make a point to come visit Rake!

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

The ssam lettuce wraps were good, though they read a little more like Jewish brisket with a spicy bean sauce than what I expected from a Korean lettuce wrap. Still tasty, just a different vibe. Honestly, this would've been a 5-star meal if I didn't leave with three mosquito bites. Great food, great service, great wine -- just maybe bring bug spray.

The bar is very scenic so you will definitely feel like you are getting the full dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Make reservations for peak dining times in the evenings and on weekends. Many people walked in without reservations and were seated right away on Saturday evenings. Highly recommend trying their original cocktails ($18). We tried the flower child and the harvest moon. Both were tasty. I would get harvest moon again and again. Perfect balance of Tart, sweet refreshing and strong. Menu items change seasonally so it's delightful to try something new every time you visit. $21 potato croquettes were highly disappointing. Everyone recommended them highly, but I could not understand why. For such price, three tiny balls of fried potato should've been mind blowing, but they were underwhelming and forgettable at best. Skip. $24 giant ricotta stuffed raviolo was delightful. Such soothing comfort food. If I could eat just this, I would be happy. $26 fresh crudo was refreshing and light. Delicious cold broth/juice soup in which it was served. $32 Bronzino with mussels in a broth was superb. Light, crispy, and delicate. Would eat this dish for dinner Any night of the day. Balanced flavor profile. Could suit anyone who is picky about their food. $30 lamb neck was a solid dish. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and delicate and flavorful on the inside. Wish the portion was a bit bigger, especially the sides. $38 duck confit was highly advertised, however, it was underwhelming and the least stand out dish. It was solid, but nothing that I would order again or recommend. The duck was on the dry side. Definitely not enough sauce. The cabbage and the cabbage salad were good. Crispy and refreshing. The duck was not the star of this dish. $13 chocolate mousse with strawberry coulis was surprisingly delightful. So light and balanced. Not sweet, but just right to finish a meal. I could eat this dessert every day after every single meal. So simple, yet it hit the spot. Service is very fast and efficient. One of our readers was superb and provided stellar recommendations. Another waiter (young and inexperienced) was very shy and his energy felt very stifling.
