The vibe and interior were good but the food was really whatever. Pizza was decent but nothing spectacular, and the pasta was severely overcooked so I wasnt sure if I was eating pasta or flour porridge. I didnt think even the melon was fresh but with those simple menus, ingredients matter. Overall, not recommending at this moment

Came here for dinner and had a pleasant experience. Ordered the rigatoni arabiata with burrata and grilled chicken. The food was yummy but the portions were a bit on the smaller side. Service was quick and friendly and they gave us a complimentary appetizer. We got to sit outside and enjoy the weather which contributed to a good night. Would come back.

The food's good as always, but they rush and rush you on a Saturday. I had barely finished my main dish and my small dish was taken away, but I ordered more food and they just didn't care. They want you to go asap so they can serve another table. The bar tables are also really cramped and uncomfortable.

We came here for a NYE dinner, it was pretty easy to get a reservation which was a plus. And our experience was great! The restaurant was decorated for the holidays and the waitstaff were all wearing festive party hats. It was a great vibe. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share: Stinger pizza: 9/10 the dough was sooo soft! Loved the honey with the pepperoni Truffle focaccia with ricotta: 9/10 My favorite of the appetizers. I love anything truffle and the combination of the whipped ricotta and soft focaccia really did it for me Rigatoni: 7.5/10 delicious sauce! I think it was like a calabrian chile or something like that Vodka pasta: 8/10 sauce was sooo creamy and yummy. The pasta was perfectly al dente Brussels sprouts: 7/10 solid, can't go wrong Beet salad: 7/10 a light and refreshing bite I enjoyed all the food. It was the perfect amount for 5. I wish we had room for dessert because I was eyeing the olive oil cake but we were just too full. Our waitress was also the sweetest. She gave us extra focaccia on the house AND a champagne toast. She was absolutely lovely. I really enjoyed my experience here and would recommend!

LOVE IT. Had a Sunday brunch with bestie. Everything was amazingly delicious. Scrambled egg with pesto sauce and pine nuts are to die for. Cooked perfect and went really well with focaccia. You must get Rosemary spritz. My friend got their special menu carbonara which was delicious too, only a tad salty to my taste. Service was excellent and attentive. You will definitely come back.

Great dinner place with friends and also kid friendly! They have high chairs and plastic cups available for children. The oriechette pasta was rich and the sausage was flavorful. The meatballs were great as well and served with bread on the side. Portion sizes are small for the price. They take walk ins.

Came for the Inciardi mini print vending machine and it happened to be NYC summer restaurant week! Food was pretty good but the meal took almost 2 hours. My friend and I went for the $30 3-course dinner. My artichoke was delicious and one of my favorite bites as of late, but man, service was sooooo slow between the second and third course, and even slower after we finished dessert and were waiting for the check. At one point I asked a server if they had the Inciardi machine since I hadn't seen it and he said he'd ask and come back - he never did. To get our check, a server said he'd bring it - he also never came back. Finally my friend was able to catch another server's attention and he brought us our check. Loved my friend's fusilli, definitely recommend that. Her salad (forget the name but it had fried, tomatoes, chickpeas) was alright but we wish the chickpeas had more flavor - it seemed they were just drained and added. My chicken main dish was well cooked but also missing some flavor. For dessert my friend ordered the olive oil cake (recommend) and I had the mango sorbet (pretty good but not as good as the cake). In terms of ambiance, it's a cute space with dim mood lighting and seemed like a popular date spot and spot for girlfriends to get drinks and have a slow meal. I'd consider coming back but definitely not if I was tired or in a rush, at least during restaurant week on a Friday night.

Rigatoni Alla Vodka is my favorite item on the menu! Their whipped ricotta with truffle was delicious, as well Really easy to grab a table during the daytime but expect a wait at night on weekends

What a great dining experience! We had a reservation at the Midtown location, but our party number changed and they refused to accommodate. We ended up getting a last minute reservation at this location. The dining room is beautiful and they have a huge patio. We sat outside and had a great meal! We ordered a bottle of wine for the table, multiple appetizers, two salads, individual entrees and multiple desserts. Everything I ate was incredible. Notable mentions for the eggplant appetizer and the vodka pasta. The pasta was fresh, the sauce was so tasty and the burrata melted perfectly into the pasta. The service was also exceptional. We were there for a few hours and our waitress was great.

I booked a table for five on Thursday, February 19, at 6:30 pm. The interior was beautiful. Our server was very attentive and checked about food allergies twice. She came around every ten minutes or so to refill our water glasses with a glass bottle. The stinger pizza is delicious; perfect mix of spicy and sweet. $24 for 6 slices; it could be shared with two people. The crust was not greasy or heavy.

I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! I love how friendly the staff was here and how unpretentious it all was. Next time we are in NYC- we will definitely make a point to come visit Rake!

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

The ssam lettuce wraps were good, though they read a little more like Jewish brisket with a spicy bean sauce than what I expected from a Korean lettuce wrap. Still tasty, just a different vibe. Honestly, this would've been a 5-star meal if I didn't leave with three mosquito bites. Great food, great service, great wine -- just maybe bring bug spray.

The bar is very scenic so you will definitely feel like you are getting the full dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Make reservations for peak dining times in the evenings and on weekends. Many people walked in without reservations and were seated right away on Saturday evenings. Highly recommend trying their original cocktails ($18). We tried the flower child and the harvest moon. Both were tasty. I would get harvest moon again and again. Perfect balance of Tart, sweet refreshing and strong. Menu items change seasonally so it's delightful to try something new every time you visit. $21 potato croquettes were highly disappointing. Everyone recommended them highly, but I could not understand why. For such price, three tiny balls of fried potato should've been mind blowing, but they were underwhelming and forgettable at best. Skip. $24 giant ricotta stuffed raviolo was delightful. Such soothing comfort food. If I could eat just this, I would be happy. $26 fresh crudo was refreshing and light. Delicious cold broth/juice soup in which it was served. $32 Bronzino with mussels in a broth was superb. Light, crispy, and delicate. Would eat this dish for dinner Any night of the day. Balanced flavor profile. Could suit anyone who is picky about their food. $30 lamb neck was a solid dish. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and delicate and flavorful on the inside. Wish the portion was a bit bigger, especially the sides. $38 duck confit was highly advertised, however, it was underwhelming and the least stand out dish. It was solid, but nothing that I would order again or recommend. The duck was on the dry side. Definitely not enough sauce. The cabbage and the cabbage salad were good. Crispy and refreshing. The duck was not the star of this dish. $13 chocolate mousse with strawberry coulis was surprisingly delightful. So light and balanced. Not sweet, but just right to finish a meal. I could eat this dessert every day after every single meal. So simple, yet it hit the spot. Service is very fast and efficient. One of our readers was superb and provided stellar recommendations.
