We had formerly liked Pannini Pizza even with some mishaps. Tonight, however our order was our pizza scheduled by Pannini for delivery between 6:30 and 6:45 hadn't arrived by 7:15. When we checked the door we found the pizza left on the front steps! There is no way the delivery person rang the bell or knocked as our dog loves to bark at visitors. When we called the shop a person who claimed to be the manager said they couldn't be responsible for this as it was a delivery as it was a third party, NO APOLOGY NOTHING!!!! Used to use Panini for pizza, even going back to when it was Prinzis. Haven't been for some time and the quality of the pies seems a bit off. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza, no ham or pineapple flavor came through at all. Regular cheese was OK but nothing like we remember. Reviews seem to tail off for the past few years and allude to new owners. My thoughts after my visit is Panini quality has gone from excellent to me. There are many quality pizza joints in the area so Panini needs to get back to where they were or they won't last. Good luck to them but I won't be returning there. read more

Wings - that's all I ate. They have four chalkboard menus and one is wings - they had a review that said they were incredible. So in my head - the calculus I am doing is "they do wings and it's 1/4 of what they focus on so it should be incredible. " To say something nice - they were fried pretty well (the way I like ) but they didn't have enough sauce. For f*cks sake it's called Buffalo bc it's the sauce that makes the magic. Some of the wings weren't covered at all. Also, two of the wings shouldn't have been in the order. One was tiny and one was deformed in a way I can't describe. Lastly, buffalo wings = carrots or celery. It had neither. I don't want to be a jerk and say "skip this place" bc the pizza looked good and it's a family run small business. But I would skip the wings. If anyone from the restaurant reads this - I am happy to come back and try it again. But you gotta do three things : 1/ buy better wings. 2 of my 7 were no good. 2/ add carrots and celery 3/ get your pricing right. First time eating from here and the food was great! We got a couple pizza's. Margarita and Pepperoni also a Turkey Artichoke Panini . Ordered a pizza and a salad last for delivery last night. First, the price came to $35. I sucked it up because I'm in Covid quarantine and didn't have much of a choice. The salad alone was $11. The pizza was on the small side and the crust was just not good overall (not light, airy, and chewy, as pizza crust should be). Worse, it was covered in excessive gritty cornmeal. The salad was one of the worst Greek salads I've ever had. The too finely crumbled feta cheese was way too salty, as was the too garlicky dressing, for a double sodium bomb. It was nearly inedible. We tried {P}anini for the first time last week after searching for places open on Sunday. We were feeling particularly "meaty" so decided on the Carne Lovers pizza. Wow!!! We have never found a pizza with more generous toppings! Unlike...ahem...most pizza places in Beverly they did not load up on the cheapest toppings, like onions, with only few pieces of meat--this pizza was FULLY LOADED!!!! Definitely not feeling ripped off one bit! My husband said the place was clean and updated from the old Prinzi interior and they seemed to really take pride in their food. That said, if I had a wish list item, I might've enjoyed a bit more sauce because I like the tomato taste but it wasn't a deal breaker. We ordered from them again today for the Patriots game. This time we tried the BBQ Chicken pizza. It was flavorful with a nice thin, crispy crust; however, it was a little skimpy on the chicken, especially when compared to the Carne Lovers. Not sure if it was a lack of chicken or just that the pieces were too small and got lost in the bbq sauce??? We'll try it again. Hopefully it was the exception and not the rule. I ordered my favorite (the pizza co. combo) last night. It was delicious, as always-no change. I was greeted by a friendly staff, who had my pickup ready right on schedule. Per our current situation, a roll of toilet paper was included:nice gesture. Also, kudos to the owner for putting out a good video on the correct use of disposable gloves, from the perspective of one who uses them everyday. I am very impressed with Panini. I order from here about once a month or so. The food is good and we usually get two or three days worth of food for three people for around $55 including tip. The last time I ordered I received the wrong sandwich, which was kinda bummy cause I don't like the ingredients the sandwich I received had on it. I called to let them know, mostly because whoever was waiting on the sandwich I got was probably going to be angrier than I was about it. I just wanted them to know a mistake had been made. They not only sent me the right sandwich within half an hour, they apologized and went above and beyond with their customer service. EDIT! 01/2018: Don't worry y'all it's still 5 stars. In the past 5 months I've tried almost every panini and multiple pizza options. Honestly nothing compares in value. Pizza is like 15 bucks with delivery and they don't skimp on the toppings. The calzones are DANGEROUS. Once you've had it you'll be in love. Obviously it's New Year New Me® time so I'll be eating healthy and all that jazz for a while but come cheat day you know what I'll be eating First things first, bomb as HELL paninis! They have some similar to Panera options, some classics and some original ideas of their own. I ordered the cuban and was blown away. Great price for the portion also. Can't get enough of this place! I moved back to the north shore area a year ago and was sick of eating all the gross pizza around! Then I randomly fell upon this little hidden gem! I felt like i was eating real Italian pizza! I pull up now and they know who I am it's kinda embarrassing but that's what delicious fresh food does for me! I tell everyone I know on the north shore about this place! Friendly,clean,attentive employees,you don't see a high turn over of employees which is nice! Love all of the speciality pizza and there red sauce is delicious! Everything I have ordered from here has been fresh and definitely delicious! Although their pizza is good tasting, their customer service is lacking significantly. 1:40 p.m. order, was told 20 minutes. Got to the store at the 20 minute mark, pizza was just being put in the oven. Asked why, was told it was made incorrectly so they had to remake it. Did not offer a discount nor extend any type of offer for the inconvenience of the additional wait time. Paid full price. Additionally, a female staff member was eating at the table where the pizzas are boxed and directly across from the pizza ovens where the pizzas are, obviously, being placed. Not hygienic and would have walked out had my pizza still been in the oven and had they not made me pay before receiving my pizza. Commented to the staff eating near the food and received a nasty look. Will not be returning. read more

Yesterday I tried the meatball sub from Panini and was super disappointed. The sauce tasted like it came from a can and the meatballs were the blandest meatballs I ever had in my life. It was purely ground beef mushed together with no seasoning at all. I recommend sticking to pizza when it comes to this place. read more

They have bomb pizza!! And great mozzarella stix! They are usually pretty friendly and usually on time delivering only had an issue once with delivery being wicked late but it was a Friday and they were prob busy as hell so cant really hold that against them. read more

TL:DR Amazing pizza. Great customer service. 11/10 Will suffer lactose intolerence again. We tried a few pizza places around when we moved here from NJ and nothing was that good. We took a chance on this place and absolutely love their pizza. It's amazing. My husband and I both are lactose intolerant and every once in a blue will indulge n suffer later. We recently had a mishap by ordering online and somewhere the system glitched and about and hour and a half later we called to see what was up and it had only just come through, they were very apologetic and had our food to use in no time flat, even so far as to refund us for our 2 hour wait. Which, honestly, we felt bad about since we really didn't mind since we like there pizza so much and shit happens ya kno. That incident alone inspired my review. So yes! 5 stars! I just moved to the area about four weeks ago. I moved here from CT to be closer to my daughter and her family. It was a late rainy evening and I was starving. I know nothing about any of the places to eat around here and decided to try them for delivery. I called and the woman on the phone was super sweet. Very pleasant and just had an overall awesome vibe. The delivery person came on time and my pizza was delicious. Last night I ordered again as I was too tired to cook and ordered online. I got there and the woman checked my order and realized there was something missing on my pizza. She immediately went to the pie maker who said no worries I am so sorry and offered to make me a new one. It was really no big deal so I said no. They were so apologetic and then was going to give it to me for free which I would not take, so they wound up giving me a coupon for one on a return visits. They were all so kind and pleasant that they have won me as a customer for as long as I am here, which I pray to be for a long time! Lol. I will spread the word all over! I'm not sure if they are a corporate chain or individually owned franchise but this location rocks!!! Thank you for making my move to the neighborhood a bit more feeling like my new home! I hate to do this but a few months back I ordered 5 pizzas from Panini Pizza and after having it rung up I forgot I had a coupon and asked them to please apply it after apologizing that I forgot...well the lady was rude and said sorry it's already been paid "maybe next time"? I own a business that accepts credit cards and believe me it's not a big deal to apply it. Well it is what it is but when the pizza arrived late it was cold and to be honest most of the party avoided it.
