    Chicken salad sandwich
    Mark Y.

This small deli chain has a decent menu with decent prices. Everything is fresh, and there are good vegetarian options. Service on our visit at this location was average. I had a Greek sandwich with tapenade, feta, and veggies. There was plenty of flavor. I like it. She had a chicken salad sandwich. It had good flavor, though the chicken salad was a bit watery. It soaked into bread, making it a little yucky. She did give it bonus points for being on a real baguette. I give it 4.5 stars, she gives it 3.5. That averages out to a solid four stars.

Literally my favorite sandwich and salad spot. I'm such a fan of their Brie and turkey sandwich, as well as their curried chicken salad salad. Everything is always super flavorful and fresh. Plus, the servings are HUGE! They offer a great selection of drinks and chips to pair with your order. This location offers both indoor and outdoor seating, plus has really convenient parking right out front.

2 half chicken salad sandwiches, one garden half salad, and one chicken tortilla half soup

Definitely a good healthy option for lunch or dinner with a decent selection. I do wish there were more sandwich options for people who are vegetarians, but if you do eat meat there is a good variety. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the ambience was cute and matched with the beauty vibe of the area. I do wish I got more quantity with the sandwich given the price point, but besides that it was an enjoyable meal!

One of my favorite sandwich places ever. The turkey and Brie sandwich is to DIE for. It's pricey but worth every penny. The salads are almost as delicious as the sandwiches! A fun, sunny spot in SB that is definitely worth a visit.

Almost $16 for just 1 sandwich I think they charge you more if you eat in vs take out. Cashier spoke to fast. Was not able to understand her. Had a shirt that said "fuck this". Extremely unprofessional. Didn't offer anything to drink, chips or anything. Does this place have a combo menu? Sandwich, drink & chips for a good price?? Brought sandwich to my table. I said thank you and she said nothing! Need to provide better customer service. Food alone won't keep customer coming back. Specially at these prices!

    English Stilton and Pear sandwich

Okay, this was not exactly what I expected, but its a delightful surprise!! I decided to try something new and go with the English Stilton and pear sandwich today...I don't know why, but I assumed the cranberries and walnuts would be in a kind of chutney so when I opened my sandwich I was kind of disappointed until I took a bite. HOLY COW ITS DELICIOUS! Everyone should try this sandwich on Foccacia bread! Classic faves of mine also include the Turkey and Salami, Cobb Salad Sandwich, and Caprese Sandwich. I've honestly never had anything that I didn't like. Thanks for another delicious lunch today, Panino!

I have been to The Daisy many times and I am never disappointed! The food is so fresh and flavorful…read moreand the portions are generous! My favorites are: The little gems salad with chicken added. You have to get the green goddess dressing! They make it in house and it's the bomb!! The bahn mi sandwich. It has house made tender brisket, fresh pickled veg on a baguette. So delicious! You can also get it as a salad! You'll never even miss the bread! The Daisy burger. Big meaty patty, with melty cheese, piled high with lettuce, tomato and red onion with a special sauce on a buttery brioche bun! You can really sink your teeth into this one! It also comes with a generous portion of perfectly crispy on the outside tender on the inside fries! Mmm mmm!!! They get really busy so come early!! Definitely a must try!

The Daisy in Santa Barbara was a bit of a hit-or-miss visit for us…read more The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with plenty of outdoor seating, and is dog friendly, which is a big plus. You order at the counter and the food is brought over to your table. The service was friendly, though it could have been better--we had to get our own water, cutlery, and napkins and nobody came to check on us throughout the meal. Maybe that was because we came right at opening on the weekend. Food-wise, some dishes were better than others. The smoked brisket banh mi was disappointing, mainly because the brisket was chewy. The burrata-tomato salad with added chicken breast was good and felt fresh and satisfying. The chicken salad sandwich was okay, but the bread was too hard, which made it less enjoyable. On the positive side, my son really enjoyed the kids' grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Overall, The Daisy has a lovely atmosphere, and a great dog-friendly patio, but the food was a bit hit-or-miss during our visit.

Friendly service, super fresh soups and sandwiches in the public market. Great display of fresh…read morehealthy treats/snacks/drinks, light clean decor. It feels expensive upfront but with portion sizes, it's a great deal. For a lighter meal, just share a sandwich and soup with a friend, a lover, whoever! The house lemonade and tea are delicious, with the lemonade being perfectly sweet and tart. Soup of the Day was French Onion, which is on the sweeter side, and comes with cheese and a crostini soaking up the broth. Onions are very nicely caramelized. It was tasty but the portion of this soup was a bit large for the intensity of the soup sweetness, almost like syrup after eating it enough. Any other soup - I'd be fine with the portion size. Partner's review of the BLT: "Plenty of bacon and toasted very nice on sourdough, the sourdough with the soup was balanced. I can tell they added a little bit of butter on the sourdough for the extra crunch. Vegetables - they're vegetables, FRESH though." I had The Griller, hot with provolone on a bolillo roll. Packed with flavor from the peppers and olives, plus all the meat protein was the bomb!

The other was a chocolate chip cookie with walnuts. My wife had the same experience, so it wasn't just me. I wouldn't mind that they were rather expensive if they at least tasted good. What is weird is that they looked so good!
