Traumatic place, went here for over 5 years and it has completely crumbled. Strongly encourage you to find another practice and they do not have integrity and customer service. - several appointments where I had to wait 1+ hours to be seen, only for my treatment plan to change completely and have no work done. - I disclosed I had recently been diagnosed with a disability and wanted to postpone having a scan done and partial denture created, as I was not medically cleared to have the work done, the front desk kept telling me I needed to have to the scan and partials done then, even though the work was not going to be started for 6+ monthss. I mentioned needing to discuss with my doctor first, the receptionist said "your doctor is not a dentist, they wouldn't know" and continued to tell me to get the scan. I called and reached out 4+ times to resolve the issue and request a refund, they at first told me they would fix the issue, then completely ignored me. - Receptionist was rude and dismissive. One visit they charged me over 2,000 before the work was done or started, the total was WAY over my estimate. She would not explain or go over the charges. I saw the dentist, who had a completely different treatment plan, and then did not do the work, I had to call 3+ times to get a refund, for work that was not even done. - No clear way to email them, or get in contact. Very suspect and poor business practices. - delivered two crowns about 6 years ago, they were not fitted properly, they were too big when mounted, so they just put more cement in to make sure the scan even at the gum line, to absolve them of responsibility. I didn't know how to advocate for myself at the time and trusted them as id been going to them for so many years. read more

Dental cleaning day Did not have to wait, no other patients were there. Just me. 2 person job. Polish and floss was first. Water Lazer done by second person. Not sure she was a qualified person. No comments were made about my teeth at all. Took 2 min, done. What? Okay, no dentist even came to look at my teeth, ask me questions etc. Bizarre experience. Always a dentist has rechecked my mouth and gave an overall assessment. Considering last time, same dentist. Was all in it, even tried to sell me all these extra procedures because she said I needed deep cleaning and another procedure to help stimulate bone growth. Which I pSded on. Horrible, horrible experience here. I requested my former patient documents and x-rays, and they are refusing to give it to me. They are asking me questions and acting suspicious. They don't even want to send me PDF records. Under HIPAA I have a right to my patient documents. Dr. Pannu wasn't much help either. Gave me his number, but when I called him, there was no response. Uncooperative. I wanted to correct the braces treatment I underwent in 2017 and address some safety concerns. My face went from being symmetrical to asymmetrical after braces. When they were taking my braces off, the assistant used a fire drill. There were sparks flying mere inches away from my skin and I was afraid of getting burned. Ignored my complaints about the asymmetry. Wrote a long email to the front desk about this and there was no response either. They don't care about their patients. My face looks so different and I have lived with that pain for 8 years now. What they did drastically impacted my self esteem and life. read more

I arrived on time for a regular cleaning appointment and had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. They started by taking x-rays and then immediately took a full scan of my mouth (without telling me they were going to do a scan, and my insurance does not cover this). The dentist then comes in and tells me that I haven't been to their office in over 2 years and now have severe gum disease. I told her that I was there 9 months prior and told my gums were healthy. After checking she confirms I was there 9 months ago and changes my diagnosis to aggressive severe gum disease. She told me that if I don't get a special deep cleaning with lasers that would cost me over $1100 out of pocket and start Invisalign that I would lose my teeth within 10 years. The dentist then leaves me with the hygienist who did my x-rays. I told the hygienist that I did not want to do Invisalign and she said she would let the dentist know. The office manager then comes to show me the price for the deep cleanings and the Invisalign. I decide that I don't want to proceed with Invisalign but will do the deep cleanings. I give her my credit card and then we schedule two appointments for the deep cleanings. When I get home, I see that I've been charged for the deep cleanings and Invisalign. I called the office the next day and told them that I did not want to do Invisalign, but the person who answered the phone told me that once they charged my credit card the order was automatically placed and that there was nothing she could do. She also said that if I disputed the charge on my credit card that it would be considered fraud. The office also billed my insurance for the Invisalign. I was never given any paperwork to sign nor was I ever given any information regarding the Invisalign procedure beyond the price and they went ahead and ordered it anyway. I cancelled all my future appointments and am now having to deal with the headache of getting my money back for the deep cleaning (which never happened) and the Invisalign (which I never requested), as well as dealing with my insurance company. I have since been to another dentist and they have confirmed for me that my gums are healthy and I am nowhere near having severe gum disease. It feels like this practice was just trying to scare me into getting expensive treatments that I do not need so that they can make more money. I can't and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Please save yourself the time and stress and go to a legitimate practice that actually cares about their patients. read more

First visit to clean my teeth went ok. I was asked to come back for deep cleaning and was told that it would cost me less than $200 out of pocket. My appointment was rescheduled couple of times and finally when I went for the appointment, I was told that I have to take some advanced Laser cleaning and other extra procedures and it would cost my $1100 out of pocket. I asked for deep cleaning without any other extra procedures. And, I was told that price will be reduced by $200 but I have to take the extra procedures for $900 out of pocket or I will not be given deep cleaning treatment at all! I wonder if it is illegal to refuse treatment for patients who do not need or want extra procedures that cost a lot. :-( read more

Be careful with with practice. Potential scamming practices. My wife and I went on separate occasions as first patients. They highly required a "deep cleaning" for over $1k and would not do a regular cleaning, which is what we came in for. The weird thing, my wife and I were quoted the exact amount and supposedly we had the exact condition. I went to my original dentist after changing my insurance and were told that our teeth looked great! Non need for any special "deep cleaning". I do remember the lady trying to sell me the "deep cleaning" acting shaky and nervous. Also, during the checkup process, they made me hold the mirror for picture taking and they took pictures with a very cracked iPhone. Aside from the lack of professional tools, this was in the middle of 2020. Well, I doubt that that an entirely cracked iPhone is sanitized, as the technician went from taking pictures to putting his hands in my mouth. Very weird experience. Stay away from this practice, maybe someone from a board should do a serious investigation on these people. read more

This place was just fine. I've been a few times, for fillings and cleanings. Nothing catastrophic, hence 2 stars. The bad: One of my fillings is cosmetic (on a front tooth) but the dentist did not have appropriate color that matched my teeth and only realized after which was upsetting. They also once quoted me about 1200 (after insurance) for two crowns (over cheaper fillings) that were deemed not medically necessary after I got a second and third opinion at two different dental practices. 2/3 times I went for dentistry work the dentists were over 20 minutes late. The good: The front office is very transparent and always provides both the full bill and the patient cost in whatever media you wish. They were always very pleasant over the phone. read more

Simply the best. I had my previous dentist for approximately 30 years. After he passed we went through a couple of other dentists before finding Pannu dental group. They've been wonderful with our regular cleanings and other procedures. What really sets them apart is their sense of compassion. I took a fall and hit my face and hurt my front two teeth. This all happened at 4:55 PM on a Friday. They close at five but they stayed open for me so that they could fix my teeth. Once I had retired, I started looking for a dental office closer to our house. When a called my medicare provider, Pannu dental came up as the one closest to our residence. I made an appointment for extraction and got an appointment the following day ( FYI: we were on the 9th month of pandemic). The front office staff was very friendly and organized. Dr. Clor was very efficient and knowledgeable in oral surgery. He explained to me the steps to be done to fix my oral issues. His assistant, Edwin, was very helpful in the process. The entire treatment lasted over six months because a lot of adjustments had to be done to make the transition to wearing dentures. I had met a few other doctors and one of them is Dr. Chan. She helped me a lot along the way. On my recent visit, another outstanding member of the staff, Jhoda, adjusted my denture and made huge difference. It feels and looks so much better. Great job! I forgot to mention that the office manager helped me find a lender to finance the treatment for a year without interest. That help me a lot! The staff is super nice which I gave two stars, but like Cathy said they were trying to make me get a deep cleaning and refilling my composites and are trying to overcharge me over $400. Called my insurance and they said it should be under $100 for composites and under $80 for deep cleaning. The office and equipment seems outdated. read more

Came here for a dental checkup. Loved working with Dr. Tran and Dr. Louis. Both are very friendly and explained step by step and scheduled for all the treatments. All the assistant staff has been very supportive in rescheduling few time I couldn't make and referring to doctors at other locations in case of an emergency. Similar to prior reviews, I had a wonderful experience with the reception staff who were polite and friendly. However I was quoted over $400 for deep cleaning which was deemed medically unnecessary after I sought a second opinion. I called my dental insurance company and checked my paperwork, noting that deep cleaning is covered for $60. The office however used a billing code/diagnosis code that is not even listed in the paperwork. I checked with a second dentist who confirmed (without my prompting the price) that the copay for deep cleaning is in fact $60. Overall, I had a pleasant experience here but I am removing stars due to lack of trust and overcharging. read more

Great first appointment and first impression! The office is nice on the inside, freshly painted, clean and modern, and set up for social distancing. I had a toothache so I needed a quick switch of dentists, I was nervous to try somewhere new but went for it since this is close to home and had good reviews. I have had deep pockets in my gum and couple of teeth with cavity. Dr. Nipa and her team did an awesome job with filling those teeth. She redid a previous filling that was not filled correctly in first place by another dentist. filled couple of other tooth with such an ease and no pain. She was caring and was genuinely concerned with my teeth and gums getting better instead of just recommending 100 of different procedures for no reason. My wife began invisalign through this dentist office  from referral from our cousin.  The treatment began prior this COVID nonsense. Over a year went by and her teeth were not shifting. She kept getting the run around and saying "oh it will we will take care of you next time." Seemed too quick to take your money and kick you down the road till the next appointment.  After a year she was never properly introduced to the dentist/ortho, or  the plan for her treatment. She had to ask  WHO IS THE ORTHO and WHAT IS THE PLAN?  Before a straight answer. We understand that Invisalign is a process and takes patience  but over year and a half and without feedback is unacceptable. This last visit she had a really good assistant, Jhoda, she went above and beyond, and explained everything and what she was doing. She provided information about Invisalign that was suppose to be given upon first visit.  If it was not for her, and paid for the treatment  she would have left this place. Jhoda is a perfectionist and her work is impeccable, she made her feel very comfortable. She gave her tips and advice that a new Invisalign patient should know after a YEAR AND A HALF.  She had no idea of the many tips and advice of the "to do's and don'ts." Jhoda would receive 5 stars as a stand alone,  this place they are receiving 3 stars as a redeeming grace, because of her. read more

I'm a new user of HMO, After I made an appointment, days later I was called to postpone the appointment. When I finished the x-rays, I waited about an hour before the dentist showed up. She spent fewer than 10 minutes and told me that I had some gum problems at the back . Then she brushed me off to the front desk without answering my questions. The dental assistant did not even try to put a sucking tube into my mouth until I felt so uncomfortable and reminded him that I needed some sucking. The dental bill they charged is $350 for a full examination . I feel it's a rip off, totally different from my previous dental visits, and I feel they treat HMO patients like a very low priority, very cold and money-oriented, you don't feel any care from them. This was a shock to me as a new HMO user . The front desk lady is friendly though. read more

I highly recommend Pannu Dental Group! I was without insurance for years so put off the dentist which then once having insurance turned into putting it off due to anxiety of being judged. I finally went and the ENTIRE staff here made me feel so comfortable and I wasn't judged one bit. I obviously ended up with multiple cavities, they are very forward with all the payment options before they do any work. I split mine into two appointments and another for a chipped tooth. I was very nervous for the first cavity filling appointment and they were extremely comforting. I'm so thankful to have found this dentist. Avoid this dental group if you can. I made an appointment for 6-month cleaning. On the day of my appointment, I was called to have it re-scheduled to a week later. I was wasting entire hour there just for the x-ray taken. Of course, the dentist can claim the insurance without performing any cleaning procedures. The dentist just tried to convince me to have the deep cleaning done which will cost $800+. I walked out the clinic without any cleaning done on my teeth. I will not recommend this place. read more

I have serious uneasy feelings about the this place for the following reasons: 1. I went to the place to replace my broken invisalign retainer. They quoted me almost 800 dollars. The entire invisalign treatment of 9 to 15 months only cost 3000 dollars, and yet they are going to charge me 800 dollars to replace a broken retainer. I will be getting a second opinion on this. 2. The place has no email nor message system set up, so if you want to change or cancel your appointment, you are completely at the mercy of them picking up the phone and talking to you. Guess what, if you don't give them two days notice for your appointment cancellation, they charge you a fee. 3. I got a big scrape on my tongue during teeth cleaning there. It is painful and is not what I would expect from a dentist visit. 4. Due to covid, I would expect the dental office to limit the number of people in the office, but it looked like they were trying to fit as many people in there as possible, including a dental student. I did not feel comfortable being crowded by unnecessary observers during a pandemic, even if it is for a good cause. read more

It took me so long to finally make a appointment it was long over due, this visit was my first visit with this dentist Mr Pannu and let me just say from the moment I walked in the ladies at the front desk were so friendly . Then after meet the Dentist he made me feel so relax and comfortable all my anxiety went out the door. I got a deep cleaning 2 fillings and a extraction.
