Food was excellent and fresh. The menu options are a great value and a lot of food. Place is super clean and a lot of options for food choices. It's set up like a Panda Express by picking your sides and main dish

Butterfly Shrimp

I ordered the butterfly shrimp a the wonton soup again because of my past experience. I like the fried shrimp as an appetizer. The shrimp were perfectly done on the outside but not fully firmed up on the inside this time. Sort of halfway chewy. I ate them and I'm hoping this doesn't cause a gastrointestinal event. One more thing. The total cost for these two items on yelp was $4.91 higher than what they charge in the store. Where does that money go if you pay the higher price online? I have high hopes for the soup but I'm going to wait and see how the shrimp settles.

First time here at this spot! It's at the corner of a plaza in Oceanside next to Pizza Hut. The inside is clean with a few tables to dine in but I got to go today. They got a variety of drinks; cans, bottles and smoothies. The service was super fast and ready to assist us Their menu has their prices updated! Got a combo B with mushroom chicken and orange chicken and a chicken egg roll. The food is soooooo good, definitely better than Panda Express! They PACKED the combo plate! Mushroom chicken came with other veggies and tasted very fresh. The chow mein noodles are pretty thick but not udon sized. I'm very happy with my experience.

amazing food for the price. Twice the size of panda express portion size. Workers are nice and welcoming. Food tastes great. One plate is good enough for 2 people.

Chow mein Orange chicken spicy chicken fried rice

ho lee sheet. serving size is twice the size of panda express. Would recommend. One plate is big enough for two people and it tastes hella good.

food is so delicious here we got orange chicken, beefsteak, coconut shrimp, and beef broccoli. Each item was extremely delicious. I would like if they added nuts to their coconut shrimp as Panda does but yess this food is delicious I recommend it

Another incredible, quiet little Asian restaurant with Michelin recognition that somehow I had…read morenever heard of until recently. A few months ago, I was at a sushi-making class and a couple of the students kept talking about how amazing this place was, so of course I just had to bookmark it. We did the 10-course meal with a few additions, and WoW! Every course felt thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor and temperature was just right and the balance of ingredients just worked so well together. The service was incredible. Our server was so knowledgeable and did such a great job walking us through each dish, sharing the history behind the chefs, and explaining where their inspiration came from. It made the whole experience feel even more personal and memorable. Just wow. This is absolutely a place I need to return to, especially when the seasonal menu changes.

DONGPO PORK BELLY with tallegio-scallion polenta cake and daikon was a confusing. I love pork belly. I love grits. but in the dim lighting, it was hard to distinguish contrasting flavors and textures. I needed more visual clues. I did not properly visualize the dish until we got home and posted photos that were light-adjusted. the duck was a survey course of five regions. Lanzhou: AROMATIC CHILI and DUCK FAT condiment was one of the five regions from the duck series. server recommended as an add for the other four regions, but portion was insufficient for two, much less the other four. Guangdong: DUCK NECK CONGEE (duck-rice porridge with duck-skin cracklings and puffed wild rice). It was a lot more complex and interesting than I would have guessed from the menu description. really quite good. Shandong: caramelized honey crisp apple, parsnips, smoked bamboo, and crispy duck crackling. a muddled and incohesive dish. no center to hold things together. more quiet cacophony than robust harmony. Sichuan: Zhangcha jasmine tea smoked DUCK BREAST with charred scallions and duck jus. perfectly cooked, gorgeous presentation, but underseasoned. would have appreciated a sprinkling of flake salt and cracked black pepper to finish. the Hong Kong BREAD PUDDING with coconut-caramel sauce fell short. I'm a huge bread pudding AND caramel fan but was just okay. genius concept but for me, their reach as often as not exceeded their grasp.

The black pepper beef with peppers is also super tasty but it's a hit or miss because sometimes the meat is super tender but other times it's tough and chewy so I stopped getting it as often. The flavor is amazing though. Another thing to try is the spicy sesame wonton it tastes like normal spicy wontons but mixed with like thai peanut sauce dip which is a unique combo but it works. The milk tea is pretty good too. The service is always good and the workers are nice. I usually get takeout but it's a good place to sit down too.

Amazing! Father's Day early dinner (4:30pm Sunday)…read more While most American-Chinese restaurants serve typical Cantonese-influenced cuisine or heavily westernized dishes (i.e. Beef with Broccoli, or other Panda-inspired faire), Tasty Noodle House focuses on Shanghainese appetizers, Dim Sum and fried noodles. It is a small chain with locations around SoCal. This was our first time here. We ordered: * 1 Large Asahi Bottle Beer ($10.99) * Shanghai Pan-Fried Soup Dumplings ($10.50) * Combination Fried Rice ($15.99) * Shanghai Style Chow Mein ($14.99) * Tasty Dry Pot with Lamb ($20.99) For me, the star was the Dry Pot, wow! This is similar to your typical hot pot but this has no broth. It was already slightly warm inside so a hot soup would have had us sweating. We chose dry and it was unbelievably good. Definitely getting this again. The Fried Rice and Shanghai Chow Mein fried noodles were excellent as well. Not huge plates but we managed to split it four ways. In fact all of the dishes we ordered family style so we could all share. They did not have your typical "combo" entrees that had sides of soup or rice. Here you order one big plate of fried rice, one big plate of noodles, and so on...and SHARE. We were getting full when the Shanghai Fried Soup Dumplings came out. Wow they were huge! Biggest soup dumplings I have ever seen (maybe I don't get out much?)...seriously the size of an orange. My wife and I split one large bottle of beer. They gave us two frosted glasses and the bottle split evenly. Perfect! Ice waters were really tasty too (I never comment on water but here I am). Service was excellent. In the end, we paid the bill using the handheld POS terminal. I asked for an itemized receipt and it printed it all in Chinese! Luckily ChatGPT helped me translate and the bill looked correct. We will most definitely come back. This food has excellent flavors, good pricing and good service. Win, win, win.
