Excellent and professional. Great crew. Overall the best contractor who's worked on my apartments.

Workers who damage your home, your personal items cause damage in rooms that were never affected. We gave them the opportunity to fix. Very slowly they did address issues and then created new ones. After asking for the contractors they use to please be given a plan a month later a plan was written. There are huge language barriers with people that come. Carpet was replaced but it has major color differences so much so that the manufacturer adjuster came and verified and ordered all new. The workers knew this and laid it anyway. Carpet just came in again and literally got laid yesterday. Workers used my dining table ate lunch spilt what looks like hot sauce and left dirty shoe marks. We have given so many opportunities to do the right thing. And by the way their invoices were paid immediately so there is no excuse that they ever had to wait on us. Please someone tell me why it would take 9 hrs to lay appx 400 sq ft of carpet and 1 regular staircase. I realize that getting competent workers seems to be more and more challenging. Perhaps training, having oversite, fully understanding your workers abilities and lack thereof would be a step in the right direction. If we had only used the cleanup portion we would have been fine. Lesson learned. I'm glad others have had good experiences they likely didn't have the crew that we did. If companies set up their work force for success they can deliver a successful project to their clients.

From the very beginning, we were put under pressure. The manager who came to give an estimate told us it was basically "now or never" and that if we didn't make a decision right then, he would leave because he had plenty of other other jobs lined up. When you're dealing with water in your home, that kind of pressure forces you into a rushed decision without really understanding what you're agreeing to. The work that followed did not match what we were told or what we were billed for. The biggest issue is they did not even touch the utility room, which is where the water originated from. According to their own photos, there was no extraction, or drying equipment ever in that room which is something we didn't notice until after we found water pooling under furniture weeks later during putting our basement back together. That alone makes no sense for a mitigation job. They told us they would come back the next day to check moisture levels and water percentages. They never came. Then they told us the same thing again the following days. After multiple excuses, instead of ever coming back, they told us to just shut the equipment off ourselves. They still charged us for 4 days. Not only did we find pooled water still sitting under furniture and items on the floor, mold starting, and damage to drywall and studs. Water had also gone underneath cabinetry and the island, and none of that had been removed or handled. So weird.... that's exactly why I called a mitigation company to catch and prevent. They also left a huge mess in our yard for four days that killed our grass, after telling us they would be back the next morning to clean it up. And this was not just debris from our home. It was trash from brand new equipment they brought in and unboxed at our house. We were charged for retrieving equipment from another job site to come to ours, which clearly did not happen as we watched them bring in new equipment and open it in our yard, then leave the packaging behind. EVERY TIME we called the manager he was rude and would say "I'm working 16 hour days you're gonna have to wait." When we were only holding him to what he said he would do. We were also charged for other services we did not receive, including water extraction (we never had water extracted only drying... "after hours" work that took place around 3:30 in the afternoon, extended run time fees when it was there fault they didn't come back to get their equipment, clean up and debris removal (that they left in our yard, charges for the square footage they never touched, and charged us for full scope mitigation even though they didn't touch an entire room or take out the wood tack strip under the carpet. We were charged for 8 things that did not happen. A year later, we are STILL dealing with the aftermath. What should have been handled correctly the first time has turned into more work, more stress, and even more money out of our pocket! We trusted them during a stressful situation and that was a mistake. I wouldn't consider allowing them to do work in your home, but if you do ask questions, document everything, and do not assume the invoice reflects what actually happened. These people don't care about you, your home or your safety.

The damage has already happened and if the services include mold remediation- then you can afford a few more hours or another day. You should have time to have at least two or three companies give you quotes. From experience, I know that you will feel the urgency and need for immediate action when something like this happens- and this company's tactics are to use those emotions to make an immediate decision and sign those agreements. You will be scared into the results of not acting right now, you will immediately be pitted against your insurance company to set expectations for the inevitable battle ahead which is solely yours (in which this company has no stake because you will sign a contract that makes you responsible for the balance regardless of your insurance company claim), and your final invoice will be 70% more than the initial estimate. In my case, the insurance company advised the final invoice included dozens of line items/charges that no insurance company would ever reimburse for such as extracting rugs which are being discarded anyway per their standards, PPE, equipment charges for incorrect units of time (weeks vs. days), and various other minutiae/money-grab items. Upon questioning these items, you will be met with intelligence-insulting justifications and news articles about predatory insurance company practices of which we are victims. Please consider these things before you accept this company's services and sign a contract agreeing (with any company, as I'm sure these are industry tactics) to be responsible for the final invoice regardless of your insurance claim outcome. As far as the actual work performed (independent of the business tactics employed), it was fine except for removing/discarding an entire staircase of carpeting leading to the basement because 2" or less of the bottom riser carpeting touched backup drainage water. I could have replaced just that bottom riser carpeting. I know this company performs other types of work and those experiences might be fine as many of their reviews on other review sites indicate. My review is specifically to address the services for a water event mitigation I received. Thank you.
