He first expressed his sincere apologies for the experience I had, and then he tried to better understand the situation in detail. After learning what had actually happened, he acknowledged that this was not the kind of customer experience their company aims to provide. He was very proactive in stating that they would make things right. Today, Monday, I received a follow-up call from Nick. He showed a very positive and proactive attitude in trying to resolve the issue. Through our communication, we were able to reach an agreement. What I would like to highlight is that Royal Moving & Storage Austin and their customer service team truly make you feel that customers come first.

They called ahead of time to coordinate the date of delivery. They called the day before delivery to confirm and know all was well. They called the day of delivery 30 minutes prior so that I would be ready... and then... Imagine a surprise when they showed up ON TIME and precisely when they said they would. They arrived precisely at 7 a.m. on a dreary morning and without hesitation they got to work. The delivery supervisor was "J.R." and he was straight forward, courteous, and on a mission to get the job done. JR measured the spaces we needed to navigate and allowed me time to take my door off of its hinges so it would be easier. Overall, it is rare in this modern day that a delivery service keeps their word on the delivery time and then follows up with great service. The EDC team of two were in and out and onto the next delivery. Not a scratch on my appliance, my house, and they left no trash from the shipping/pacling materials when they unpacked it. He had personally gone to the storage and pulled out the boxes. Then the most difficult bit, I knew the maximum storage in the shipping container and I had measured out the best I could but a container cannot be packed without gaps so I was waiting for the call to pick up a few bits. No call, Ricky had with a lot of effort managed to fit everything in. Fantastic job. I will definetely be asking for him and his team again on my move back.

We lived on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex with no elevator, and moving during the hot Moreno Valley summers is no joke. The team was able to load up a 2 bedroom apartment into the truck in about 2 hours. Despite the heat creeping in, there were no complaints. My GF and I took the time to pack up 95% of our belongings to make this move smoother. But the things that we couldn't pack, like the couch, were so nicely wrapped by the team. Our belongings got to our destination quickly, efficiently, and without any damage. If you have the time, pack your own things and have them nicely stacked / organized to make things easier on your movers. From the get go, Moving Troopers were very communicative. The day of, Diego called to confirm and let me know they were on their way. He also assessed the space and walked me thru what I would expect during the move. If you're moving and have the extra funds, hire these people. It is worth EVERY penny and saves you the mental breakdown -- especially during summer moves when the heat can be intense. Okay, i googled "movers near me" i stumbled upon edis at "the official moving company" we talked i jotted down the price $487.50 for 2 hours, 3 movers. This is a one bedroom on the first floor. The only furniture that's a pain was a couch, a dresser, a tv, a chair, and some tubs. Everything was already packed!! The sweet movers (his sons) came at 8:24. Totally fine, they got right to work and started wrapping everything in blankets. I told them "hey guys no need for all that, nothing i own is that important". They said okay, and nailed it. Place was cleared out fast. I felt really good about the movers and they were so polite. We get to the new house. They have to move the 4 pieces of furniture upstairs. I apologize, go and fold all their blankets, move tubs in to the garage, and move stuff upstairs with them. I make them togo ice waters and tip them $200. Remind you, the movers were amazing, and super professional and efficient. So it comes down to bill time, i went 30 min over 2 hours. He charged me $813.39 (4% cc processing fee included which i agreed to) His son called to talk about the bill, bc when i heard the total i was shocked! Edis was so rude on the phone, and i kinda feel like i got robbed. This was not a $1,000 move! I wish the actual movers all the best in life, bc they were sweet boys. I had initially planned to use their services again to move into a new home, but after the horrendous experience I had, I decided to seek an alternative. Now that I am settled in a new place, I have had time to assess the full extent of the damage. Not only did this company damage several of my items during the move, but they also reused old, low-quality boxes that required excessive use of tape (see pics - This added to the time and materials cost. Note the two shades of tape on the reused boxes along with the water damaged). Also, by reusing old boxes with labels already on them, no one knew where to unpack things (see pics - This is how I ended up with boxes tagged for both the master closet and the kitchen!). This was incredibly frustrating and made the already tiring task of unpacking that much more difficult. Prior to posting this review, I reached out to the company in hopes of finding a resolution. They provided no support or help whatsoever. It was as if they didn't care about the damage they had caused to my property or the inconvenience they had put me through. I hope that this company takes steps to address these concerns and improve their services so that no one has to go through the same ordeal. That said, I would strongly advise anyone considering this company's moving services to look elsewhere for a more reliable and professional option.

I was quoted a good price which did increase at the loading time. They did work with me for a price that we both agreed was reasonable, considering this was an interstate move. Gina and Johnny are very responsive and updated the paperwork with every change I provided them. They were very understanding of my situation and I appreciate them sincerely for that. It really is a family business as Johnny, his dad and his wife completed the move. Their trailer is very clean and organized, they're very efficient and good humored. During the unloading, there was a pretty significant mishap, but Johnny immediately took responsibility and we all were appreciative of the way it was handled. All of our things got here mostly intact. There were some minor scratches and dents here and there, but these things happen with moving. I do really appreciate All in the Family Moving Company for helping relocate my family on this very important move. They did us a great service.
