We lived on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex with no elevator, and moving during the hot Moreno Valley summers is no joke. The team was able to load up a 2 bedroom apartment into the truck in about 2 hours. Despite the heat creeping in, there were no complaints. My GF and I took the time to pack up 95% of our belongings to make this move smoother. But the things that we couldn't pack, like the couch, were so nicely wrapped by the team. Our belongings got to our destination quickly, efficiently, and without any damage. If you have the time, pack your own things and have them nicely stacked / organized to make things easier on your movers. From the get go, Moving Troopers were very communicative. The day of, Diego called to confirm and let me know they were on their way. He also assessed the space and walked me thru what I would expect during the move. If you're moving and have the extra funds, hire these people. It is worth EVERY penny and saves you the mental breakdown -- especially during summer moves when the heat can be intense. Update to my previous review: Hi Chris V, Im sorry my post was not to your liking, but it was not intended for you. My post was to inform consumers of the lack in adaptability on your service prices, and how they might not be aligned with what the future client needs. Yes, I will be using another company as their prices are aligned with what I need. The other company charged the same as you with a truck $185/hr, but with no truck and no drive to destination $135/hr. As you can see they had another price option and would not be quoting/charging for something that wouldn't be needed. Of course I chose another company! Why would I pay extra money for a truck that I don't needed? All I needed was movers to pack the truck I rented. Would you really pay $50 more per hour for a truck that is included in the quote but it's not needed. I truly doubt it; as you being a businessman I'm sure you know all about cost effectiveness. Excellent experience!! I'll never go Uhaul and guys again! These guys, Ivan and Gabriel are real pros. They moved two, heavy mattresses and box springs, sofa and several boxes in no time. Carlos and team were amazing! They were fast and efficient. They were everything NORTH STAR was not! Carlos showed up right on time full of energy and never seemed to slow down the whole time. The rest of his crew were awesome too. Every one of them seemed to know exactly what needed to be done (NOT LIKE THE GUYS AT NORTH STAR). When we got to our new place they insisted they put felt pads on all my furniture to protect the hardwood even though I insisted I would take care of it. We had moved a lot for the past 6 years, but the experience I had with these movers was stellar. I have never seen movers that are so fast careful and friendly and most important very professional! Jay and his movers made it so easy for us this time. We were moving out of a 3 bedroom townhouse and used our garage as storage. We were really looking for a good moving company (even more then good, professional movers) that wouldn't take forever to move our belongings, as our last move was a complete nightmare. Movers arrived on Saturday morning at 9am and loaded all our belongings in about 2 hours! They carefully wrapped all the furniture and covered my floors to prevent scratches, which was all included! Many moving companies that we had called did not include packing materials in their hourly rates. We were moving from Pasadena to Los Felize. Movers arrived to my new house a way before before we did and started unloading outdoor furniture immediately! Movers were super friendly, polite and always asked me where I wanted each item to go to. They assembled my furniture for me! I mean how great that is, there wasn't a separate charge for any of that! I could not be more pleased with my choice. The move was painless. They showed up on time and immediately started hauling my stuff out to the truck. Let me just start by saying that I thought these reviews couldn't possibly be representative of service. Moving sucks, I thought. I was SO wrong. Diego & Luis were AMAZING. I had no idea moving could be this easy. They were right on time, extremely knowledgeable, and super efficient. I called several places for a quote and they were by far one of the cheaper ones (and cheapest with a 3 hour minimum). The company is truly entirely full service. Diego & Luis even helped pack up stuff (because I was running behind). There were absolutely no hidden fees. In fact, they didn't charge me for double drive time (though I thought I would be)! The last time we moved, we used the u-hual truck and killed my back!!! This time we decided to go with a moving company. A friend told me that He used Moving troopers so I decided to check them out. I googled them, came to the yelp page so it's a new company but trusting my friend's experience I decided to go with them because other companies that we got quote too expensive and so many hidden fees that they don't tell you till you ask them. I spoke with Chris over the phone, who gave us a fair price and was responsive and disclosed all charges up front (they charge hourly only with ALL-INCLUSIVE rate). Hands down these guys are the best moving company in LA. I called them on a Sunday, the day before I needed to move (I have a procrastination problem...I accept this), and they were able accommodate my request without any issues (or judgement). The price was fair and upfront. When Carlos and Adrian arrived, they got straight to work. They were both extremely polite and friendly, and I feel like they took care of my property as though it were their own. When my ginormous sleeper sofa wouldn't fit through the front door at my new place, they carried that beast back down the stairs and to the curb for me (someone picked it up the next day; thanks guys!). These guys were really amazing. They provided us with an accurate estimate and did a great job on our move day! All our furniture was wrapped in special blankets. The floors were covered to prevent scratches. They delivered as promised did not charge for any packing materials or gas/millage (as other companies do). I spoke with Chris last night at 10 pm, showed him my house via facetime and he sent a big truck with two amazingly efficient movers to my place the next morning. Moving is not stressful if you have the right movers! While Moving Troopers were moving me I and my friends were having fun at my backyard drinking beer :) Yes that's how easy they mad my move! I did offer them beer but they refused :). The guys were working very hard. They worked non-stop. I had requested 4 movers to speed up the move and that was a right choice. The move from Symi Valley to Eagle Rock was made very easy. I did not feel any stress. They packed everything with their own materials and did not charge anything extra. This review is for a local 1 bedroom apartment move. I waited until about 3p on the day before my 8am appointment for them to call me, but they didn't. I ended up calling them to confirm and they said they saw my appointment and we were good to go for the next day. We were already of to a shaky start and I wasn't sure how this moving experience would go. On the morning of my move, Gumaro called me at 7:45am and arrived with Diego within 20 mins. After showing them two different points of entry to my apartment complex, they wasted no time moving our boxes and furniture. We didn't have a ton of stuff, just an average 1 bedroom. They got everything out of the old place and into the new place in about 6 hours. I would say it was a pretty long move for the amount of stuff, but reasonable due to the amount of stairs they had to traverse. I called on a Tuesday, and was able to schedule 2 people mover in 3 days. The movers arrived in the time slot I was given between 2-6. They called at 2:30 and told me they were in route to my place. When they showed up they had an extra guy with them and told me I didn't have to hire all 3 . For an extra $20 I took the 3rd guy. They brought all the packing material and even took the stairs since the complex didn't let me block the elevator. Nothing was ever too much for these three guys. They worked the entire 6 hours with no break. No hidden fees. Boxes , and supplies included . I'll ask for Gumaro, Gabriel, and Luis if you want a quick move. They work hard! I highly recommend them. 1. Move was scheduled for in-between 8-9am on a Friday, in the middle of the month. At 8:55am I called the main number to get a ETA; Carlos quickly called back within a couple stating they would be there in 5 minutes. They arrived at 9:20AM. 2. Scheduled 4 movers for $135/hour, cash rate. They showed up with 3, stating one called out sick. Understandable, it happens. Told me the new cash rate would be $125/hour for 3 guys. I didn't really think anything about the rate and initialed my signature. Also let me know that if I wrote a positive Yelp review while they were still at my residence I could get $20 off. Also told me that 15-20% tip is customary in this business. 3. I am very efficient. I rented plastic boxes from eco boxes and they were all the exact same stackable size. I took apart all beds. Everything was ready to simply be put in a truck. We had one heavy item (fridge), that had been unplugged for hours with ice and food all emptied. I literally couldn't have made the move any easier. 4. It took 3 hours for them to load up our 1300 sq foot home. Again, 45 of the SAME SIZE stackable boxes and furniture. The last time I moved this exact house was 9 months ago and it took 3.5 hours from South Pasadena to Burbank for the entire load and unload, including drive time. 5. It took 32 minutes for 3 guys to move my fridge from the kitchen to their truck. (Yes, at this point I was timing them). 6. When we arrived at the new location (in Burbank, less than 2 miles away), I pulled Carlos aside to let him know that the $125 for 3 guys was not what was published on their website and that they were moving so extremely slow that I was concerned. 7. Carlos stated he would talk to the owner about "honoring the published rate" (say, what? Honoring what your business has as their charge rate? Yeah) and that the "velocity" in which he was moving was to "take care of your belongings". 8. For the last 35 minutes Carlos "expedited my service" by having 3 other movers come help. At this point, all that was left were these stackable boxes which I had unloaded into ONE room for efficiency. 9. While the move was still taking place, Carlos took time to add up the bill in front of me, while boxes were being unloaded. He then asked me "would you like to tip 15% or 20% today?" while his entire crew was in my house. Carlos, thank you for railroading me into tipping you. The last movers we had killed it and we ended up tipping them 40% because we were so impressed, but I didn't even want to tip yall. The bottom line, you hustled me. I was moving my house, pregnant, with my sick 8-year-old twins, while my husband worked, while I took the day off from work and you HUSTLED ME. You overcharged me $14/hour because why? Because I am Caucasian and live in a nice neighborhood? Carlos barely worked; he acted as a foreman while his two workers moved at a snail's pace. Was on the phone for at least 1.5/6 hours of the move. I had absolutely nothing fragile. I moved 2/3 of our tvs and all our wall art and mirrors myself. You're full of it. The velocity at which you moved is called sandbagging. I attempted to stand up for myself halfway through the move and in reality, I should have just called the owner, but I just wanted this move done and these people out of my house. $830 for 6 hours moving that should have taken no more than 4 with travel time. The last move we had we used Pasadena Moving Company and I highly recommend them. They bust their tails, they take care of your things and they're honest. read more

We all know that moving is a hustle but not when it comes to this guys! Extra hard working guys with sense  of humor ) rhey arrived on time started the work immediately. I'm a very worried person and I like to be on top of the workers all the time (handy man mechanics movers etc...:))) ) but I was realy relaxed with this guys. They knew what they were doing. They did a full packing for us and marked all boxes with marker that's why unloading and unpacking was much faster! My TV was wraped in special blankets and arrived in one piece. We were moving from Glendale to Hollywood and used Moving Troopers for that! I don't regret hiring them as they were professional local movers. They gave me a quote over the phone which was very accurate. When movers arrived we were not prepared yet and started worrying about it but the guys helped us doing the rest of the packing with their packing materials. After many years of living in Glendale finally I got an opportunity to move from there. I shopped around for the good , reliable and at the same time affordable moving companies! Out of all quotes that I received the one from Moving Troopers fitted me the best. First of all they don't charge for packing materials. They promised me that there would be no hidden fees. A lot of companies would charge me gas fee or truck fee which I felt uncomfortable with( I am already paying for the service if they are going to charge me for gas or truck than I would not do business with this company's ). Fast forward to the move day . The moving crew arrived on time. They called me prior their arrival to give me heads up. I had requested three movers with full packing service a as I just did not have time to do packing. They started the job right away. They worked very well and did a great job. They boxed and marked all boxed which made the unpacking very easy. They wrapped the furniture in moving blankets and also they used blankets to cover the floors of the elevators in both location(you know building management's rules). The unloading took much lesser time. They gave me a lot of tips for packing and told me a lot of stories about moving, being said it was fun moving with these movers!) The reason for the 4 stars is because they quoted me an arrival between 8-9 and they arrived at 10. Which pushed a lot of my appts for the day back. Other than that they were great!
