I immediately started to make phone calls. I tried our in-network pediatric dental provider but it was after hours and I got the answering machine so I left my number. {Our in-network dentist still has not returned my call to even ask how he's doing! That's a whole other story and Yelp review!} Next, I remembered that Kids Only Dental visited my daughter's preschool to give a presentation on dental hygiene. Thank goodness I bookmarked their info on Yelp! I called the main number and got the emergency line. Called the emergency line and Dr. Angie Chin promptly answered. Dr. Chin, reviewed our incident over the phone and helped to ease my nerves! She answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. She told me to come in first thing the next morning. I wasn't sure if they were in our insurance network so Dr. Chin said she'd have somebody from the office contact me. Talk about quick! Only about 5-10 minutes later Joann called me back to answer my insurance questions. Unfortunately, they are not in-network but Joann reviewed the price breakdown and it was reasonable so I opted to self-pay. Fast forward through my sleepless night. My husband dropped me off at the intersection so he could find parking. I had difficulty locating their office. When I called, Patty, the office manager was super sweet and stayed on the phone and gave me step by step walking directions!!! The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and bright. Dr. Chin did an exam and reviewed the X-rays and it seems there is a small chip on his tooth. Dr. Chin was awesome with my fussy toddler. She was patient, kind, and playful with him. Terrific bedside manner. We go back in one month for a follow up. I highly recommend Kids Only Dental! Now I just need to switch to insurance they accept!!!

I was nervous about a potentially painful ordeal and equally nervous about seeing a new doctor. Thankfully he somehow was able to save my tooth and gently too! I'm so glad I went to see Dr Kramer. First you should know, I hate dentists. Or, more accurately, I hate dental work. As such I have…read morealways made a point of finding/seeing a dentist I like. Then I found Dr. Gottlieb. I LOVE DR. GOTTLIEB. My sister recommended him highly after he helped her out on the Sunday of a holiday weekend--she'd chipped both front teeth on a New York City sidewalk, don't ask--and so I scheduled a cleaning at his office. It was so pleasant I started going in every six months. I realize every dentist recommends that but, as I said, I hate dental work. The hygienists are gentle-but-effective, and the staff in general is friendly and personable. But more important than the cleanings is the dental-heavy-lifting. That's where Dr. Gottlieb shines. In the years I've been seeing him I've had numerous cavities filled, one tooth bonded, and a full-on root canal. He took very good care of me in every instance. He described all of my options in great detail and helped me decide what best suited my needs, medical, emotional, AND financial. He is conservative in that he doesn't immediately call for a root canal or other drastic measure at the first sign of distress. That said, he really does talk through the different solutions and lets the patient guide the final decision-making. Most important of all: he is REALLY good with a needle. One of the reasons I hate dental work is that I hate needles. But the alternative (potential terrible pain during a procedure) isn't even an option, so the best I can hope for is a dentist who can administer novocaine as quickly, efficiently, and painlessly as possible. Dr. Gottlieb IS that dentist. In a heartbeat--and often without being asked--I would recommend Dr. Gottlieb to friends, family, and whoever else I come across.
