Spinach salad with fresh and dried fruit, goat cheese and "crack" balsamic dressing.
Rachel A.

I absolutely LVE this place for so many reasons, and I've only just discovered them. Let's start with the frozen meals- delicious! My husband is obsessed with their frozen eggplant parm- which is good bc frozen meals are the only thing he'll be eating after I pop out our 2nd child in December! Today, while picking up more frozen meals to try, I picked up the spinach salad and... OMG... more yum! I drive 15min from work to Paolo's and i would drive further. Don't miss this place!

Chicken cacciatore bigger tin pan.

Paolo's kitchen was at the Teaneck, NJ Farmers market on Thursdays. Got the chicken cacciatore and pasta fagioli. Both item were frozen and on the containers instruction to reheat. Chicken cacciatore I put in the oven frozen and reheated for just under 30minutes. Once it defrosted I took out and drained some of the liquid so it did not overflow. I did place the chicken in a bigger tin dish. It was easy to cook and absolutely delicious. If I lived in New Providence I would be a regular. Food and and presentation was A+.

Sorry to say too expensive, not worth it, food is ok at best and Paolo has a bad attitude.

I had Dan's Backyard BBQ at the 2019 Hunterdon County 4H Fair. This review needs to be qualified…read morewith the fact that I don't like St. Louis Style Ribs. Even though I am a Louis Prima fan (sorry for the obscure reference) the bone to meat ratio just doesn't make up for the higher fat content. At least for me. This guys ribs changed that. You don't eat these ribs so much as you hold them up and allow the meat to dive into your mouth like an Olympian off the 10 meter platform. They are that good. And I have eaten enough brisket in my life that writing a review including a reference to pork is probably something I shouldn't do publicly, but his is top notch. Lastly, I come on this site and often see reviews regarding the personal nature of the proprietor of the business, which are sometimes so vicious and misplaced, it is not a mystery why the writers of South Park want to feed some of the members of this site what they want to feed them. To that end, if you have a problem with either Dan or his staff, I would have to say that the problem is most likely with you. They couldn't be nicer, more courteous and helpful. I know that sounds like a lot for serving somebody BBQ but those fairgrounds on a weekend can be a certified nuthouse. At no time did I see anyone lose their patience or desire to help the customers. Five stars all the way.

I just wanted to leave a follow up on our last order. Unfortunately, someone forgot about dinner…read morecoming, so we just refrigerated everything overnight and had it the next evening. We just placed it on the plate, heated it up, and dinner is served. Reminder: The key to reheating any meal is not to nuke it but heat it like 2 minutes, then 30 seconds at a time until it is the temperature you like. The Caesar Salads were good as always. I personally use all my dressing, my better half, only about half of it. The Risotto Balls were surprisingly still very moist and cheesy after heating them up. Boy were they good. The Eggplant Rollatini app was totally enjoyed by the wife. She actually shared some with me this time. LOL The Chicken Parm is always amazing. This time was no different. I am not a big spaghetti fan unless its thin or angel hair. There was plenty of pasta and the chicken was still moist & tender. The Chicken Francese is always a favorite. I really like lemon so the lemon slices added were just what the doctor ordered. The chicken, again, was moist & tender with the pasta cooked al dente which made it great to heat up. Oh how I've missed you Chocolate Raspberry Lava Cake. It was ohhhhh soooooo goood. Last week the Lemon Mascarpone was absolutely moist and flavorful. I've said this before, if you have not tried the La Cucina di Lydia menu for $15 for a salad, appetizer and dinner (yes dessert is extra) you are "TOTALLY MISSING OUT" on a well prepared, perfectly cooked, just like mama made, delicious Italian meal. The price includes delivery and I have no problem adding a tip on for the delivery drivers, who are always punctual, polite and efficient. TRY THEM....IF YOUR NOT....YOU'RE MISSING OUT! Time to message them at https://www.facebook.com/lacucinadilydia and place our next order before the delivery schedule fills up! ENJOY

You CANNOT go out and enjoy this quality for this price. BYOB! We will be ordering from here again. Unless you want another pizza, try this instead! A
