Lots of people working here on the weekend and pizza came out fast. It's been years since I've ordered from Papa in Auburndale and I decided to try it again with the burger pizza. I have to say that pizza quality is low. Crust was flat and toppings sparse. Price is too high for the low quality. The quality has really gone downhill. I also got a plain cheese pizza which was overpriced and undercooked and just tasted bad. I remember many years ago how good the pizza was but now it's just bad. read more

I have ordered Papa John's in Auburndale for the past 8 years. I also order, once a year, a substantial amount of pizzas at one time for a pizza party Usually 30+ pizzas. Never had a problem until today. The so called general manager, Parker, was absolutely the worst person I have encountered here. I stopped in to get a price on 30 pizzas. His response was can you call it in or order it online? My answer was No, I cannot do it online because I cannot enter information needed for 30 pizzas. Well, he said, I can't take your order today. I can't have it paid for this far ahead. I'm not ordering I said.. I just want a price. Well, he said, can you do it closer to the date the pizzas are needed? No, I need an estimate now prior to ordering. Again, he says, I can put the order in to get a price but I can't guarantee the price.. Seriously, I've done this for years... I guess he figured if I waited or called it in, someone else would have to handle it. If he's a GM Papa John's should be out of business is the near future..... Went in to pick up the pizza we ordered. Wished I hadn't. Stood there for 10 minutes and watched as all the employees touched phones, computers, buckets, scratched their head, etc. and then went back to prepping food with no gloves. Did not see one person wash their hands. If this sort of thing doesn't bother you, the pizza would be good. read more

The order was missing items, and the stores phone would not allow calls in, it like had our number blocked on account. and the delivery driver coped an attitude. so they ripped us off 48.00 and made my family sick from the food. Roommate went in and ordered a small pizza with pepperoni, mushroom and olives. His total was 17$, he asked them 17$ for a small pizza with just pepperoni, mushrooms and olives? The young boy said yep. So, he paid. When his pizza was done, the boy brought out a large pizza. That's not what he ordered! He didn't order, nor want or need a large pizza as he doesn't eat leftovers!! The worst part? He got home and the pizza was gross! read more

Last night we ordered two pizzas at 1115pm. The pies did not arrived until 1240am. I spoke with Jessica the shift manager and she said that if pies were cold, call back the next day and they would be replaced. We called the next day at 130 pm and spoke with the shift manager on duty. I explained her the situation and she said we had to wait for the night manager to come in because that was her problem. What?, I asked her for the stone manager name and hers, she provided me with the GM name but her name she said was not necessary. And hung up. Customer service like that? Never again. Let me start by saying this is in NO WAY the stores fault - i ordered a grilled chicken and bacon papadia -and got a flat bread with just meat, no cheese, no bbq - all BECAUSE I ordered over the phone... unbeknownst to me the phone call goes to a freakin CALL CENTER IN INDIA!!! SHAME on you papa johns, that's not customer service that's just being cheap. I DO NOT EVER WANT TO SPEAK TO A CALL CENTER WHEN ORDERING MY FOOD, ESPECIALLY IN INDIA!! the call was annoying and they managed to screw up my order - i didn't discover the DRY, UTTERLY TASTELESS PAPADIA UNTIL I GOT HOME... 20 MINUTES AWAY- what a waste of $10 plus gas - boooooooo on call center customer service - never again! read more

I ordered a Pepperoni pizza and when my daughter picked up the pizza they told her there was no order, ok so she decided to wait and it took 45 mins for a large pepperoni ( very sad) when I received the pizza quesadilla what it was sausage. The person on the other end of the phone laughed taught it was no big deal only waited two hours to eat now I just don't want it but because I have it no refund unless I bring it back to the store, probably won't use this store ever again read more

We order Papa John's pizza quite regularly from this location. Used my app to place my order, a lge. pizza, 2 orders of wings and a dessert. I paid with my credit card. I received a call informing that they were out of wings. Although a bit frustrated, I said we would still take the pizza and dessert and asked that they make sure that the bill was adjusted because of the wings. The gentleman told me that was no problem. When the delivery girl came with our pizza, she informed me that I owed for the pizza. I explained to her that I had paid online. I ended up having to call the restaurant, to be told that when they changed my order, because of the wings that it deleted my credit card info and I was to pay in cash. Ugh! I then had to give my card info again to a guy that I, at this point, had little confidence in. He was not apologetic at all....not when he told me they didn't have wings or when he screwed up the transaction. I don't expect perfection, but I would appreciate some good old fashion respect to the customer. It will probably be a long while, if at all, that I order from Papa Johns in Auburndale, FL again. read more

This is the best pizza around. I love the staff at this location. They strive to be the best.
