Meat lovers omelette with hash browns

My brother took me here He said it was really good and the staff are friendly and helpful. He had the corn beef hash and eggs with grits. Toast was included with our meal. He cleaned his plate. Alexis was our waitress and she was polite and attentive. I has the meat livers omelette it was quite tasty. Staff were very friendly and it felt like a family atmosphere. Food came out quick even though it was quite busy.

We love to go here for breakfast. They serve country ham (salty for those who don't know country ham) and the Marco sausage is delicious. Portions are always big and the food comes out hot and fresh.

We had an amazing experience !!!! The diner was packed, it was a Saturday morning but they helped us very quickly! A young man was so excited about the goulash when we were making the line and I had never tried it but I decided to skip it cause breakfast time but it definitely sounds good hahahaha! I got the cowboy burger with onion rings and fried okra Kelv got the country ham and eggs with hash browns and a French toast. Staff was so friendly specially Jonna our weightless, sweetest human! We felt very comfortable and the portions and pricing was indisputably OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Homemade biscuit...Very tasty

Excellent diner...Clean and the waitresses are good....I got the breakfast two separate days and both time the food was cooked promptly and served to me hot...The biscuits are especially good...You can tell they are homemade...I got the omelette breakfast with biscuit and I added a side of sausage gravy...Very good...Will be back to explore more of the menu for sure.

3.5/5 stars We saw the Auburndale Main Street Diner was open and decided to give it a try. Diners usually have comfort food and since we had been driving a while, comfort was what we needed. Aili brought us menus and took our drink order. The menu had both breakfast and lunch which was perfect for the time we got there. We decided on a French Dip and an Open Faced Hot Beef. They both came with 2 sides so my husband got French fries and cole slaw and I got mashed and grits to go. The food was tasty, service from Aili was excellent and ambiance was what you expect from a diner. Covid procedures were non-existent. That is the reason they lost one half star. I would go back if I was in the area. Like someone else said, there are many other diners so why not try some place new!

First time here for breakfast which was very good. Waitress wasn't very attentive. I had eggs on toast and my friend had eggs Benedict which she also said was very good. They have a very full menu so I will be back

It came with two eggs, two bacon, a biscuit and gravy and I added a side of hash browns. It was all very tasty, until I slid the hash browns onto the other plate and saw all the grease. It was a bit to much for me. I was taken care of by Patricia and she was wonderful. It was a great local diner as everyone knew everyone. The servers called folks by name, wished everyone a good day, and just seemed happy to be there. I'll be back but next time I'll ask for the potatoes to be cooked without the grease.

It clicked on me to update this review after having a similar sandwich this afternoon at another establishment, that was half the price and x5 better tasting (WTH?). The wife had a pancake stack and was satisfied, but I was not. Ordered the toddler a grilled cheese and fries. He poo-pooed the sandwich and I can't blame him - a single lab of American cheese that was not fully melted. He ate the fries and I had one to test out. It was just okay. The service was fine, but the meal was a total disappointment (for me and the wee one). We will be back, but it could be awhile. but unknown if for anything other than breakfast. It would be very hard to screw up breakfast foods, but it can happen. I feel bad taking this place down from a 5 to a 2, but it is what it is for the time being ('could've been better' for sure).

Specials nightly include BBQ Chicken and Ribs, Meatlof and Rosemary Chicken, Taco Tuesday, Italian choices, and beef tenderloin. You may want to get there early and some of the local favorites do sell out. Take out seemed very popular, but there were a number of dine in customers. Everyone was very friendly and made sure that you are happy with your meal and beverages, as well as anything you may need. We asked about the nightly specials and were given everyone's favorite night and items. Not on the beaten path, but worth the time to find. The sandwiches run about $8 and the meals run $12 with a side salad and 2 vegetables. Our only complaint was an over 30 minute wait for the food when we were the only ones there at 4:30. The meatloaf special was filling and a huge portion. The meat itself was bland but the gravy was divine. Both the mashed potatoes and the scalloped potatoes were delicious. The California blend was good too. The corned beef reuben was delicious-ample meat, toasted marbled bread, great cheese, warm kraut. Staff is friendly tho' not quick with food or refills. They run 3 specials each night, with a full menu of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. I'm unsure of their new hours. They do fill orders to go. Alcohol (at least beer/wine) is served.

He chatted with me, made sure I was taken care of, and added such a personal touch to the whole experience--something you don't get often anymore. The food is served in the cutest wooden picnic baskets, which sets the tone right away. I ordered the soup, side salad, and sandwich combo, and everything was fresh and comforting. The butternut squash soup was rich and creamy with pumpkin seeds on top, the chicken and brie wrap was pressed perfectly, and the pasta salad tasted garden-fresh with a crisp bite of veggies. What I love most is the atmosphere. You can choose to dine on their beautiful shaded porch--full of old Florida charm--or head inside to their cozy dining room if you want to escape the sun. Both spaces have that relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. The Back Porch is a gem: great food, thoughtful presentation, and hospitality that truly stands out. I got the butterfly gin drink again and as always, it is 10 out of 10. It isn't too sweet and it packs a punch. My husband got an old-fashioned and enjoyed it. For our Mains, I got the pear salad, which was great. I didn't add any protein because my younger son got the grilled chicken kids meal with french fries. He only eats half the chicken so I got the other half. My older son got buttered noodles and a side of fries. It was very good as well, he liked the buttered noodles, but stopped halfway through, so I wouldn't be surprised if he chooses another dish next time. He does love the fries. My husband got the chimichurri steak which he should get every single time because it is delicious and my younger son eats a ton of it as well. This time he got the vegetable of the day and mashed potatoes as his sides and enjoyed both. Parking is a breeze because there is a lot of nearby street parking. It is only about 15 minutes away from LEGOLAND, so I highly recommend if you're in the area skip all the chain restaurants and come here instead.

She had the Breakfast Burger with fries and I went with the skirt steak and eggs. Both were excellent. The steak was cooked right and the whole plate came together well. Service was a little slow, which kept this from being a perfect visit. We also happened to be seated near one extremely loud patron, which made the room harder to enjoy, though that is obviously not the cafe's fault. Even with the slow service, the quality of the food is what matters and Lucille's delivered. We would come back.
