Outstanding customer service! I ordered pizza online for my students. The earliest delivery was 11:00 and our lunch starts at 10:45. I called right when the store opened and the manager was SO nice. The people at this location are very rude! I stood in the front of the store for longer than 5 minutes before anybody acknowledged that I was even there. As I was checking my food before I left, she told me to move and it was not in a nice way. Then as I was eating the pizza the toppings were falling off when I picked it up! Worst experience! Showed my order was delivered but it wasn't so i called spoke to manager who said the tracker wasn't accurate and it was on its way. 25 minutes later I get 2 cold pizzas one with the box unsealed. So I call to relay what was going on to the manager who told me my option was to have driver come and get the cold pizza and have new ones sent out which of course was going to take forever had hungry grandkids waiting or I they could come back and get the pizzas and refund. Crazy the pettiness for their error they are going to actually send someone back to pick the pizzas up and nothing for the inconvenience. I told them I would keep the one that was unsealed and requested refund of other pizza and delivery fee. Stated only would refund the pizza AFTER driver picked up the unsealed pizza. Said because it was delivered they would not refund the delivery fee and can't get my tip back either. So basically I have one cold pizza after almost 2 hours of waiting. Driver showed back up to pick up the pizza and I explained to her the seal was broken and she said one of my kids must have opened the box because it came straight from the store. I saw the seal was broken before the boxes were even set down on the counter top which my grandkids were no where near. She got mad and screeched out of the neighborhood. The service I received on 15 JUN 2018 was trash. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. I ordered my pizza at 10:48 p.m. It's now 12:20 p.m. and my pizza isn't here. Papa John's called three times and I missed the calls, but I called them back and they tried to coherce me into canceling my order, because the expected delivery time was taking was up to 1 hour. We said that was fine. I called, because the tracker said 36-48 minutes after I ordered. The tracker wasn't updated and it was stuck in the boxing phase for an hour. The person that I spoke to, because I called to see why the pizza was still being boxed had the nastiest attitude ever. It's piss poor on ya'll that it's taking this long to make a delivery to a house that's less than ten minutes away. I want a refund and I'll be calling corporate, because this is unacceptable. This location has the rudest employees I have ever encountered at a papa John's, and they wonder why Clinton has the reputation that it has. They were supposed to deliver two pizzas to my home, they only delivered one and then proceeded to give me the run around about refunding my order. The first boy that answered the phone lied and said the store manager's name was Robert, there is no one that works there under that name. The second one answered the phone "what do you need?" Told the manager Kia about it and she offered an insincere I'm sorry about that and proceed to act like her employees were not in the wrong. This delivery turned into an all day waiting game. I ordered my food at 12:18 p.m. It came shortly after 1:05 p.m. Within my order I ordered an extra side of their garlic sauce. At 1:18 p.m. I called to say that that item was missing from my order. During the phone call exchange, I was speaking with one of the workers who kept putting me on pause and relaying messages and questions from their supervisor regarding my missing item. My favorite question was "My supervisor asked if you checked inside the box?" .... (: I wouldn't be calling if I checked everything.... Anyways, they said they can either credit it to my account or I can wait for another 1-2 hours for delivery which is insane due to it being their mistake. Regardless I accepted the re-delivery , but here we are over 2 1/2 hours later and still no delivery. So I called back, and spoke to a different worker, who took my address down and set the delivery for my missing sauce, which he said would be another 30/40 minutes. Piss poor service, no urgency or accommodations for their mistake. Haven't ordered from them in a while due to their reputation and lack of professionalism, and here I go giving them a chance and this is the service I receive. I understand mistakes can happen, but having to wait over 3 hours now for a missing item is piss poor customer service. My daughter and I used to order pizza every week from this Papa Johns, but stopped after my daughter received a pizza that was not made correctly. Half of the time her pizza was missing something. She would always call and have them remake the pizza; but the last time they got her pizza wrong she called and the manager told her they would not be remaking any more pizzas for her. Excuse me!! The only reason there is 1 star and zero is because that wasn't an option. My family typically orders pizza from the Clinton, MD location about every Friday. Well, that's over. Period, we are done. Last, Friday, June 18th, my son ordered two pies for my grand daughters. The oldest said her pizza was stringy. We examined closer only to find multiple strains of long hair. We ordered a large Meatlover's pizza substituting vegetable for the ham and bacon. When my husband got home with the pizza it was not what we ordered and he took it back. The intake person looked at the order and agreed that is was not what was originally ordered. The remade the pizza, hubby got home and it still was not want we wanted. He took it back again and asked for a refund. They told him to come back the next day after 11 am for a refund. The manager told him he had to contact corporate for a refund during the upcoming week. By now this insanity. I call corporate and they took a detailed complaint and we are now awaiting the result. Good customer service should not be this much work. First, I grew up in Brooklyn. My grandfather was Luigi Sacco. I know Pizza. Second, I know that vegetables are mostly water, and if you put vegetables on Pizza, the crust gets soggy. So I don't get vegetables on my Pizza. If you're looking for a review of Pizza with vegetables on it, I can't help you. The meats are OK, the sauce is OK, and the crust is OK. It isn't great Pizza, but it's good Pizza, and it's better than anybody else's that delivers around here. I called to find out where the pizza was after an hour wait and I was assured that the driver was nearby. After another 45 minutes I called the location again and it was then closed.
