I wanted to take a moment to recognize Tre at the Clinton Woodyard Landing Chick-fil-A. I believe he is one of the managers, and since retiring, I've had more time to come in regularly and truly observe the atmosphere there. The difference since Trey has been on the scene has been remarkable. He is constantly checking on customers, making sure people are okay, helping at the register when needed, and staying actively involved throughout the restaurant instead of just standing back managing from a distance. That alone says a lot about his leadership. But what really stands out is the culture and camaraderie he has helped create among the employees. The staff genuinely greet each other warmly when they come in, and there's a sense of respect, teamwork, and positivity that feels authentic and uplifting. In a world where people are so quick to complain, it feels important to publicly acknowledge when someone is creating something positive. The energy in this Chick-fil-A feels different now -- more welcoming, more connected, and more caring. Trey deserves recognition for that. Leadership matters, and it absolutely shows here. I'm sad to see low reviews. If you're local and get emails they always have community events which my kids love, it's always clean (there's a guy with a bad arm that makes sure everything is in order), they usually give my daughter the option of a stuffed cow-sometimes the employees don't but it's fun when they do! The food is always good and fresh, if you order in restaurant they bring the food to your table and don't ask for tips. There's always people there and the customers will spark to convo at times, only thing I don't like is when I want a refill...I hover at the counter awhile before they realize what I'm doing there sometimes-but those workers are busy so I understand. I love my local chick fil an especially the events-I appreciate you and I'm looking forward to see what you'll do got Thanksgiving and Christmas this year! read more

That said, the service flow could definitely use some improvement. The drive-thru is almost always backed up, with the line wrapping around and even weaving through the parking lot. It makes it tricky (and a little chaotic) for cars trying to get in and out. When it comes time to order, you often end up speaking to multiple employees as the line creeps forward, instead of having one person take the full order. This happens even when I've placed a mobile pick-up order, which is supposed to be quicker. If you've got the patience to deal with the wait and the traffic flow, you'll be rewarded with fresh food, but don't expect a quick in-and-out. read more

This is my first time being at this location and I'm in LOOOVE with the layout!!. It's so different from the other locations in every way!.. everything is longer like it's not as soon as you walk up. The dining area is almost like a hall you have to walk down so much seating and one with a nice booth, high top tables like a bar set! The playground is a bit dark so it's difficult to see your child unless they have on something bright bright and the glare from the outside. Otherwise the food is Hot! Makes me sad to do this review because I LOVE chick fil a as a whole; my uncle owns one in Orlado, Fl. The kale salad is my ABSOLUTE favorite but I try to stay away from ordering that at THIS store. Not only are the salads BONE DRY; the employees (nor manager) are interested in making the salad or experience better. They won't give you any ACTUAL kale dressing but offer one that tastes nothing like it. I lliterally drive from my home in Clinton, Md to the CFA in Bowie, Md (about 40 min) because I KNOW they'll accommodate me. I'm not the only one that feels this way (about both store experiences). Makes me sad that they can't or WONT offer something so simple in order to make my overall experience better. I've even offered to PAY for a tiny sample of dressing - nope! This is the ONLY location in the area that is guaranteed to screw up your order. Check your bag twice before pulling off-- you will definitely be missing something that's clearly on your receipt. Some days in the morning I like to go get a little english muffin for breakfast. Today I was one of the only people in line and it still took 15 minutes for my one sandwich. After I got back to my place, ready to eat the sandwich, I open it up to see an english muffin,cheese,and egg white, no chicken. I put on the mobile order for no egg white not no chicken. Everyone you may know loves Chick-fil-A. I found this location very busy, the drive through was packed, the parking lot was packed and the inside also packed. Service was friendly and professional but every word sounded scripted and not authentic. The seating is sufficient and from a distance looks clean and in order. I wanted to avoid the long lines of the double drive through and went inside, what a mistake. My order was placed in less than a minute, good.. but my wait afterwards was too long. I had to ask a manager about my order and I needed to know what was the holdup just for a milkshake. The model usually works in any location but I'll have to give them some time to settle down or gel as a team before I return. This CFL is terrible! I will not be going again!!! The kids/young people that work there are great and fine, but I've had problems with management since the beginning. They don't seem to care about the customer experience or overall satisfaction. My first big issue was their reluctance to cook foods well done or extra crispy. It's frustrating to pay high prices for fast food, then have to go home and put it in the air fryer to get it the way you like it. But I overlooked this because most CFLs have trended towards this, and this CFL is the closest to our home. My second big issue are the Amoy of fries they give you. Having worked in fast food before, I know how much it cost for the various sizes of fries and how much profit is made. I have an adverse primal reaction to my fries not being filled. It doesn't matter if it is CFL or McDonalds, fill my fry box dammit! Eight nuggets is eight nuggets, even though they are getting smaller, but I can't accept being jipped on my fries. The straw that broke the back today was Axel the manager. When I received my food , I checked my medium fries, which were just over half full. Axel saw my reaction, so I expressed my concern. She took my fries and walked over to the fry station as if she were going to remedy my problem. Instead she takes the same fries I gave her, puts them in a different bag, and gives them to me as if they are new. Couldn't even look me in the eye when I challenged her on it. Rather than make a scene, I decided to provide my review on yelp. This is an owner operator/ leadership issue. My CFL experiences are generally very positive, but this particular franchise store is detracting from the CFL brand and should be avoided. Came here and got some good breakfast burritos. Their Covid-19 precautions are one of the best. They have floor markers for social distancing, plastic shields across the entire order counter, hand sanitizer at the door and employees are wearing gloves and masks. I got two Hash Brown Scramble Burritos, one had sliced chicken nuggets and the other had sliced grilled chicken. They also contained crispy hash browns, scrambled eggs and a blend of Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses. They each came with a pack of Jalapeño Salsa. You can order it with sausage instead of chicken. You can also order it without hash browns. The quality of the ingredients were excellent. The Jalapeño Salsa was mildly hot and the flavor was slightly tangy. It complemented the burrito well. The overall flavor of the burrito needed a little help. I needed to add salt, pepper and garlic powder to round it out.. Enjoyed it a lot that way. The price was very affordable. The service was quick and the restaurant was immaculate. I'll be back to try other items that I haven't tried before. Ignore the average yelp rating. The reviews are old. Service is a constantly changing condition at ALL restaurants. The food is the most important factor in picking a restaurant. This restaurant is always busy, so lots of people like it. read more

Apparently the app tracks when YOU (the person who orders) drive so that it can estimate when you are there. the person gets there and they said that they did not receive the order EVEN THOUGH they took the money out. Their reason being, "I didn't press the 'I'm already here ' button so that they can prepare the order". How is money taken out but it never communicates to the store that the order was placed? The first location that I've been to that won't do nuggets crispy. I was told the manager doesn't allow it. Also very slow service.

We experienced the absolutely the worst service we have ever had at this location of Chick-fil-A. We placed an order on the app for delivery. We received a confirmation that they have the order. My card was billed. However, one hour later we still did not have our food; and the order disappeared on the app. I called the store number, but I was connected to a help line and not the store itself. They said they would contact the store manager. Almost an hour later, we still had not received our food. I called again. Once again, I was told that they will contact the manager. Our order finally arrived after waiting more than two hours! However, everything was cold and soggy. The driver did give us two sent gift cards for certain sandwiches and two gift cards for a cookie or brownie only redeemable at this location since each store is independently owned and operated. I prefer not to use this location again; however, I will have to if I want to use the gift cards. I do not understand what has happened to this location. We have always had good experiences in the past. Last week we received a delivery for our neighbor around the corner, which we did not happen to find until two days later since we don't use our (side) front door but use our (front) garage entrance. read more
