Awful customer service. We live in a small town, ordered Papa John's this evening. Very simple order...cheese pizza, breadsticks, and a brownie. $5.49 delivery fee, PJ's page notes that this fee does not go to the delivery driver. OK, so $5 tip, that's a total of $10.49 delivery, small town, ten minutes away. That's fine, whatever, but $10.49 delivery should at least come with the correct order or, at the least, a professional effort to rectify any errors in an order. So, 35 minutes later, the order arrives. No brownie. The thing is, the brownie for the kids is precisely why we chose PJ's in the first place. I call the store to let them know that we are missing 1/3rd of our simple order. The manager solution? Get this..."you can drive to the store and pick up the brownie or we can refund the cost". Really? Those are the options?? How about I get in the car, spend the time and 20-30 minutes round trip and pick up the brownie? How about I drive in, pick up the rest of our order, and you guys refund the cost for my time and gas and the fact that dinner is already here otherwise? Seemed the appropriate, professional, obvious thing to do. The manager..."I can't give you a free brownie". A "free" brownie? The guy actually said a "free" brownie!! I explained that nothing was free, we placed an order, 1/3rd of it is missing, you want me to wait on dinner and drive to the store and then charge me full-price because you guys can't get a three-item order correct? Since that fell on deaf ears, I then suggested that we just go ahead and have the brownie that I already ordered and paid for delivered to our address?? "We don't have any drivers available right now". This is a no-brainer, really. Be professional. I am driving to the store, passing on eating, picking up an already-cooked brownie and you think the professional thing to do is charge full-price for a brownie? I placed a carry out on a papadia and ended up having to stay late at work, wasn't able to get there on time to pick it up. When I got there, about 30 minutes later, the guys behind the counter was very friendly and offered to make a fresh one for me. I apologized cause it was totally my fault. This was above and beyond service from these guys! read more

Let's just skip over the whole thing about the actual guy Papa John, okay? And as I've said before, sure, it's better when we shop local. Chains are inherently less interesting than one-offs. But sometimes we stray from that path. I like nearly every kind of pizza under the sun. And that includes Papa John's. It's reliable and a very solid chain pizza. read more

Sexy Beast prefers Papa John's. I don't know why but it isn't a deal breaker so we order from this one fairly often. Nobody will deliver to our house. That's not because we are scary or anything. There's some rule about how far the drivers are willing to go to get a $4.00 tip. So, Sexy Beast has to drive his ass over and pick it up so he gets to choose where the pizza comes from. Anyway, if they get the order right, all is well. If they don't, Sexy Beast will bellow and shake his fist until they do. They usually do, though. read more

I'm just not sure why all the horrible reviews. This Papa John's location has never messed up one of our orders, and the food always comes in hot. They deliver to us even though we are kind of far from town when others won't deliver. I guess everybodys experience is different. read more

Horrible pizza! No taste and very little toppings on a large speciality meats pizza. The large is not much bigger than dominoes medium. I will never get this pizza again. Don't bother find other options. Wasted our money!! read more

Go to Pizza Hut. Or Dominos or anywhere else. Unless you get just pepperoni or sausage it is guaranteed that your order will be wrong. And no one cares. Manager doesn't care. Sent comments to corporate and no replies. John the CEO should be furious with this location. Really disgusted with this store. Other stores are fine just don't get pizza at this one! read more

Papa Might Have Great Pizza, But They Definitely Do Not Have Good Customer Service At The Corydon, IN Location On Monday July 6, 2009, at approximately 7:05PM I phoned in an order for a 16" peperoni pizza with extra sauce. The Corydon, IN Store was running so called "Neighborhood Appreciation Days" promotion. The information about this promotion was distributed as a half page flier advertising "50% off all menu items". When I ordered the pizza, I was not told that the flier was consider a coupon by the store and that I needed to bring it. When I arrived at the store to pick up and pay for my pizza, I was asked by the store's general manager for a coupon. I responded there was not a coupon. The manager respond the flier was considered a coupon and that he had to have it. I informed him that I left it at home. He was refusing to honor the promotion with out it. I ask him to look at the flier, it does not say the flier is required or refer to itself as a coupon. The manager left me at the counter and went back to making pizzas. After I stood my ground and after a long time he finally honored the promotion. In my opinion this manager had the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. Among other things he said was "..I don't have time for this! I will give you the pizza..." . Papa John's International Corporate as still not even responded to my multiple complaints. I first contacted them on Tuesday July 6 2009. This was one of worst customer service experiences ever and by far the worst restaurant experience I ever had. No one from corporate has contacted me nor have they attempted to regain my business. I have purchased over a hundred pizzas from Papa John's since its beginning in 1984. In fact, I have bought pizzas made by John himself in the 80's from the Jeffersonville, IN store. Sadly I feel a need to share this experience with all people I know, recommending they avoid Papa John's (especially this store). read more

Had this tonight and it was awful. Sauce tasted like it came out of a can. Didn't seem cooked all the way. It was a 16 inch 2 topping.
