This shows their hours. I'm here on a Friday at 1:30 but they're already closed

Couldn't tell you, I got there at 1:30am and I get there and the doors and two employees were still there working. I assumed they kept the door locked being on 2nd St but no. They decided to close early and when I asked them through the window one of the employees ignored me as the other one rudely said WE'RE CLOSED

First time ordering a personal pizza (10inch) ... it was barely bigger than my hand and was over $15. It was equivalently to 1 & 1/2 of their slices. By the slice is really the only way to get pizza from here and not feel like you're getting ripped off. Although the size/price disappointed me I'll still be back, but I'll be getting slices and apps only.

OMG I cannot be more stoked! I have not only found a spot to get a gluten-free pizza, but ALSO with dairy-free cheese. For years I have missed being able to just pick up a pizza to go, being gluten-free and dairy-free, I typically make my own pizza at home. I have found my PIZZA GO-TO in Old Louisville! What I love even more is that it is a small business, with the coolest staff ever! The staff was super informative, patient, and overall had an infectious positive energy! They explained to me that the only gluten-free pizza size they offer is a 10" size. Their meatless meatballs are homemade, as well as gluten-free and vegan. They have numerous vegan meatless pizza toppings as well as vegan cheese. They make most items homemade and cut their vegetables freshly daily. They offer outdoor seating with a couple tables where you can sit and eat, the inside is small and has two stools where you can sit and wait on your order. You cannot go wrong checking out this establishment!

Cute little spot next to Mag Bar. There are two tables outside to sit at, but no place to sit inside & eat. There are a couple of stools instead to sit on while you wait for your pizza. We had the Sting Like a Bee. Wishing it had been a little more spicy. We also grabbed two single slices of pepperoni and one of sausage. The pepperoni was delicious! While we were waiting in line we chatted with some other customers who happened to be frequents there. They said the Buffalo wings are amazing.

Meh. Just okay -- I only ever order the cheese pizza / mozz sticks from here & they're just okay. If it's late, everything is closed & you don't mind paying $20 for a basic pizza, order here. It's right next to my house so it's convenient on a late night... BUT Papa John's $7.99 thin crust cheese pizza is 10x better if that tells you anything. Donisi's crust / breading has 0 flavor or oil which makes the food pretty bland.

I always wanted to try this pizza joint, as I live downtown and pass by it a lot. I ordered it for dinner tonight and was actually pleasantly surprised ! I can't speak for the interior because I doordashed it. The pizza dough was thin and it had a nice texture. The sauce had a nice flavor. My favorite part of the pizza I ordered was the bacon. It had whole slices of thick bacon on it. I've never had it that way in pizza and it really stood out to me. I also ordered the deep fried ravioli and those were packing with lots of flavor as well. Everything was really satisfying. I am a small person, but I ate the entire small pizza. With the thin crust it is lighter. I'd definitely recommend and I will definitely order again. Much better than any chain place!

But turn it over and ask yourself how hungry are you?

Walked in and got a large pepperoni and I got back home and went to eat and first bite an overbearing burnt/charred taste..yuck! Didn't have time to go back to the restaurant due to work, I thought everyone should know the disgusting truth and I intend to speak with management, is this your product? If you like crusty black ash the top was fine but the entire bottom crust is pitch black

I've had Pizza Donisi several times and the pizza is always great. I have no complaints about their pizza. They stay open super late which is a plus. My only complaint is the 3 cheese wontons. I tried them on my past visit and they were so strange. The wonton itself was nice and crispy; it was the inside that wasn't good. The cheese wasn't completely melted and there was a spice or something in it that gave it a gross taste. Their special wontons might be better, but I do not recommend getting the 3 cheese wontons.

Their beer is fun, innovative and isn't afraid to explore. Although it may not be groundbreaking but making good beer doesn't always have to be. Even if beer isn't your jam I highly recommend stopping in and tasting the menu that Chef Kathryn Fink has created and Everytime I'm here there's always something new to try be it a weekly special or the ever changing menu. The smoked whitefish pate is outstanding and always a great starter. The look and feel of Monnik always reminds me of a cottage in the mountains and after spending time inside it's so easy to get lost and forget where you're at. As for the service it's always top notch and helpful. I've spent countless hours at the bar asking about different styles of beer and what makes them special. The best part about it is it never feels judgmental or pretentious just good service done the right way. Hats off to you all. Cheers.

I don't think this needs to be even called a gyro, because it's not. The brussels sprouts were okay value-wise for $5 as an added side, but not anything to write home about. The waitress we had was friendly and attentive, but Monnik has lost its edge over the years. One star for the food, added a star back because the waitress was nice and offered good service. Beer options are still good though, after all these years I've been going here. I don't think I will be back again.

Very cute house limited parking very unassuming neighbourhood to a out-of-town. Client service was fantastic. Everyone was so pleasant. Food selection was great. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we got the meatballs, the Arancini balls, oysters, kids pasta and three pizzas. The meatballs came with its own pita homemade delicious. Honestly, it would come back just for that. Of course had to get the tiramisu for dessert even though we were so full and it was so good. Super comparable to pizza and food in Toronto honestly, I was so happy great way to end my two week trip

Tucked away on Frankfort Avenue, it's a little off the beaten path, and parking can be an adventure. There's a small lot by the restaurant with overflow parking further down the hill. Somehow we managed to snag the only open space right outside the front door, which felt like winning a very specific Louisville lottery. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and the place was already buzzing. It was packed with locals, which is usually a good sign. While our table was being bussed, three different employees checked to make sure we were being helped. We let them know we were just a little early and waiting on our table, but it spoke volumes about the attentiveness of the staff. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a neighbourhood pizza spot: relaxed, lively, and unpretentious. The soundtrack quietly floating through the speakers was a crate-digger's delight, full of songs that have been sampled throughout hip-hop history. Hearing Lynn Collins' Think (About It) while waiting for dinner felt particularly apt following the recent passing of Rob Base. The song's iconic break became the foundation of It Takes Two, one of hip-hop's most recognisable records, and it was a nice reminder of how deeply great music connects generations. To start, we ordered the Olives & Togarashi, a bowl of Castelvetrano olives coated in a wonderfully aromatic blend of spices with notes of fennel, sesame and citrus. My son tried his first olive and was genuinely shocked by the flavour. He'll come around eventually. For the main event, we ordered three large pizzas: the DOP Margherita, the Funghi and the Original Sting. The DOP Margherita showcases imported buffalo mozzarella from Campania alongside basil and San Marzano tomatoes. The Funghi is loaded with an incredible blend of mushrooms, taleggio, pecorino cream and mozzarella. The Original Sting combines soppressata, fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and spicy local honey in a sweet-and-savoury combination that completely works. Now, let's talk about the crust. It is perfect. Pillowy and light, yet substantial enough to give you that satisfying chew. The wood-fired oven creates just the right amount of charred bubbling around the edges. Our server offered house-made ranch and other dipping sauces for the crust, but we politely declined. This pizza doesn't need any enhancers. The balance of flavours across all three pies was exceptional. I've eaten pizza all over the world, and Pizza Lupo belongs in that conversation. It really is that good. We had a plan: sample all three pizzas and leave just enough room to split the tiramisu. Thankfully, we stuck to it. The tiramisu was fresh, light and beautifully balanced. Not overly sweet, nicely moist, with just enough espresso flavour coming through. It was the perfect finish to an outstanding meal. The service was fast without feeling rushed, friendly without feeling scripted, and genuine throughout the evening. We left full, not bloated, and happy as spring lambs, already talking about what we'd order next time. We'll defo be back. Cheers, Sam

We waited 30 minutes past our 9:15 reservation to be seated because we were told the previous reservation would not leave. We had to ask the hostess twice before our table was ready. Once seated, we felt rushed to order. The salatim wasn't replenished until we had nearly finished our entrées. When we asked for more pita with our mains after receiving side orders of hummus, we were asked how many individual pieces we wanted. None of us received the rice that comes with our mains, and when we asked our server just agreed but it was never brought out. My fries were also forgotten and by the time I asked I was told the kitchen had already closed so I couldn't get them. They kindly removed the fries from my bill and gave me a complimentary dessert. Our empty glasses also remained on the table for the entirety of the dinner. At the end of the meal, we all requested separate checks, but three of them were incorrect and had to be fixed. As we were leaving, we could hear the employees cheering because we had left. We greatly appreciated the discount our group received. The food was excellent, but for such an exclusive restaurant we expected a better dining experience.
