Papa John's is my favorite takeout pizza. Taking this into consideration, I always order there even when they mess up, which is very often. A few months ago, I ordered for carry out to treat me team members at my work and had one of them go pick it up. I was missing 2 of my pizzas and a breadsticks. Today, I called to ask for the toppings to be under the cheese. I called less than 60 seconds after I placed the order on DoorDash. The woman who answered the phone said my pizza was already in the oven and my request "unfortunately" couldn't be accommodated. I asked how that could be when my order was placed less than a minute before I called. She went to ask a man(I could hear because I was not put on hold or mute) if he would put my toppings underneath the cheese and I heard him say "just tell her it's already in the oven" and as she explained to him that she tried that and that I placed my order less than a minute before calling, he said "Bella from DoorDash, right?" and she said "yes" and he said "oh..." then waited a few seconds and said "tell her it already comes like that then and I'll do it when I get to the order." How ridiculous that a place I loyally spend my money at has their team members telling their customers that their pizza is already in the oven as a generic response to a special request? A simple special request that isn't an option on the DoorDash app, otherwise I would have put it in the instructions there. It isn't like I made a mistake and forgot to do it before I ordered, I called less than a minute after my order was placed to make sure I told them in time. Crazy. read more

Sooooo good and WAYYYYY better than Dominos!! I completely wasted my money at dominos to get a pizza I didn't even eat but today I went to Papa Johns and was so happy with my pizza that was hot and fresh and I love their Philly pizza. read more

My order was correct, however the pan pizza had a burnt BLACK crust. Who packages this type of pizza up and says "It's Okay"? The service in the Coachella Valley sucks and this is just another example of that. We have raised an entire generation of people that can't fricking think. Don't usually eat fast type pizza, would usually prefer a sit down pizza spot, but Papa John's was great.

Called Papa Johns to place and order for pick up and a girl by the name Alex answered. She was super helpful, nice and helped even recommended some specials to get a lower price. Most of the times that I call any pizza place it's so 'automatic' the way they take their orders but Alex's made it feel way more personal and I really appreciated her help. When I went to pick up the pizza, a guy named Ricardo (I think that was his name) helped me out at the register. He was also super helpful and funny! Their customer service really pulled me in and their delicious vegan pizzas got me going back! read more

My first time trying Papa John's & I was not to happy or impressed! They had a special on for a large carry out 1 topping pizza for $7.00, so I jumped on that great deal. Asked for extra sauce as it helps the pizza days later to not be so dry. They put very little sauce on let alone extra & the pizza was very greasy. I ordered the regular hand tossed crust. The crust was thin & over cooked w not much flavor. I gave the rest of the pizza away. read more

Takeout order: Two medium, one large ordered by phone. The good - brought to the front just as I arrived; an excellent value with good tasting ingredients. The bad - Soggy, limp crust [advertised as "CRISP"] so unappetizing as to make the good ingredients worthless. Not what you should expect from this chain. Yuck. This pizza tastes just nasty. My kids didn't eat it either. It went in the trash. Hate wasting my money.

We ordered a large pizza, sausage and pepperoni, drove 15 minutes and waited 5, no problem. The cashier was pleasant, so far so good. Another 15 minutes home, opened the box wrong pizza, cheese and tomato, our wife's became upset with us for not checking before leaving. We agreed, too late now, let's eat we are starving, worst pizza the four of us ever tasted, cardboard with cheap sauce. The box would have been a better choice. My wife called corporate the next day they must have called the franchise owner/manager who offered the correct pizza, none of us wanted another cheap piece of cardboard with sausage and pepperoni, so we passed. Obviously we do not recommend this store nor Papa Johns pizza, but if you need a piece of cardboard....... read more

Worst pizza i ever had. It was lukewarm and the toppings were poor quality. I had sausage and it was terrible. Cheese was cheap and very greasey. I will never order a pizza from any papa johns again. I would suggest little caesars or stufft pizza. read more

Every time I order from this PapaJohns they always take forever to deliver my pizza. It's not like I order a lot. I only order 1 pizza and sometimes wings when my girlfriend wants wings. So I don't get why it always takes them longer than 45 mins. read more

Well.. I just got off the phone ordering a pizza, I had an easier time buying a car. The person did not seem to have any idea what he was doing, maybe he was new, I don't know, he had trouble with basic questions, I had to give my credit card info 3 times and address 3 times, took around 10+ minutes to order...etc. I'm hoping the pizza is worth the hassle! read more

I don't expect that much from a pizza franchise. But you should at least rate higher than frozen pizza from a grocery store. The pizza I attempted to eat tonight was the most bland flavorless pizza I have ever had in my life. There was absolutely no flavor what so ever, I think I was eating "Soylent Green", from the Charlton Heston movie. I hadn't had Papa John's in about a year, and remember it as being decent, but tonights experience has sworn me off for ever. They obviously have made cost cuts, in order to increase their stock price, and it shows in the quality of the pizza. read more

Giving this location one star is too much, they don't deserve that. 1. The workers who answer the phone are incompetent, having to put us on hold every 30 seconds, having an offer online and then acting dumb like it doesn't exist on the phone. Was very upset the other night. My family decided to have a pizza night so my little brother orders two large pizzas online, wait time 30-45 mins, okay cool! An hour goes by, we start wondering. An hour and 15 mins goes by we call, she immediately put my mom on hold for 5 mins... It's not that hard to check on a pizza, so while she's waiting on hold, I call from my phone, same girl. Told her we ordered a pizza online it's been at hour and 15 mins where is it, immediately she says "Do you just want your money back?!" Me- "Well I'm wondering where it is first and how come online it said 30-45 mins?" The girl- "well online it automatically says 30-45 mins" (wtf??? False advertisement) then goes on to say that they only have two drivers tonight and they are very busy and it will be at least a hour and 30 mins to two hours and she can just give me my money back. So you're boss doesn't care that you just push customers away and practically beg to give there money back? Also, my mom was still on hold during my entire convo and all with her. They don't care at all there. Ended up canceling the order and got Pizza Hut, which was ready in 10 mins ;) much better! Thank you Pizza Hut, definitely go there and not Papa Johns who doesn't care about their customers. read more
