I want to start this review with we have typicallly loved coming to taco760. My favorite items are the birria tacos with cheese My husband called and asked if I wanted him to pick it up on his way home and I immediately said yes. To my surprise I felt like the tacos were totally lacking this time. I wish I took a picture of the one I actually ate I had almost no meat in it. Most of then didn't It was cheese forward with like a tiny sprinkle of meat. Definitely not how we are used to getting them from here. Not only was there barely any meat most of it was either fat or gristle. I'm really hoping this was an off night because unfortunately this is something I definitely don't want again being like that. And for 6 tacos and beans and chips it was 50$ so to have hardly any meat and then gross parts in the tacos it was disappointing read more

But like my previous review said I've been going to them since they started from their backyard and it is so amazing to see what a success This small taco shop has become in the Coachella Valley!! I've tried many birria tacos from here in the Coachella Valley to Los Angeles and Orange County. And this by far has to be top 3. Excellent service all around! I placed an order over the phone for a birria pizza for my family. I told the girl on the phone that took my order to put the cilantro/ onions and sauces on the side. (Not everyone likes onion and cilantro in my family) It was a disappointment to come home and the order had cilantro and onions! Also when I arrived for my order the girl Melanie had to be called like 3 times from conversating with another coworker to help me at the register. Not sure if she took my order & seemed to be too distracted. The food is great just service needs to be a little better. read more

burritos weren't as flavorful or large as before and went for their register upsell of "a bag of chips and warm beans" (was more like a half a bag of chips and small foam bean side) $4.99 and "side of rice and beans" (were small scoops) for $5.99 per burrito. I get it in this economy it's good business practice to try to get as much from a customer as possible, but the portions were small for the cost. We had a horrible experience tonight and will never be returning. I strongly urge others to think twice before dining here or purchasing gift cards. We were given a $25 gift card to this restaurant some time ago and had never used it. Tonight, we finally decided to treat ourselves and place a takeout order. Our total was over $50, and we planned to simply apply the gift card toward part of the order -- not even close to covering the full amount. When we tried to use the gift card, we were told they had changed their POS system and no longer use the system that issued the gift card. Because of that, they refused to honor it. Instead of taking responsibility for their internal system change, they implied the card may have already been used, which felt accusatory and insulting. This was a gift card we had never redeemed, and the implication that we were trying to scam them out of $25 was honestly shocking. Under California law, gift cards do NOT expire, and businesses are still responsible for honoring them regardless of internal system changes. A POS change is not the customer's problem. What made this situation even worse is that the restaurant took the gift card from us and refused to return it. So not only did they refuse to honor a valid gift card, but they also kept it -- something that still holds monetary value. Refusing to honor a valid gift card and keeping it is unacceptable, and we will be reporting this as an unfair business practice. This was not a misunderstanding or a minor inconvenience. It was poor customer service, mishandled from start to finish, and left us feeling disrespected as customers. Based on this experience, we will not be returning and do not recommend this business to others. read more

Stopped in for takeout on a Thursday evening. Place is really nice inside, and there were a decent amount of people dining in. Caliburrito: a burrito with birria, fries, and cheese. Super simple but very delicious! Most of the filling was meat which I give high marks for. The best part in my opinion is the whole burrito is coated with cheese and griddled, which provides a crispy and delicious exterior. The salsa it came with was really good as well. They have a sign warning that everything is cooked fresh so it's not fast food, but my order was relatively quick. I'd definitely recommend this place. Super easy and tasty Mexican food. read more

Went to work with my dad in Indio and we stopped here for lunch! Best choice ever. The birria tacos were super good, the flautas were the best I've ever had, and my dad loved the cali burrito he got. We came here on Saturday for lunch and there was little wait and we were seated relatively quickly. The atmosphere was very lively and the waiters were super friendly and patient. Their specially is Birria (made of beef) but are open to substituting the meat for chicken on request. I ordered the GIGANTE W/ GIGANTE W/HOT CHEETOS AND GUAC with chicken instead of birria. It was delicious overall! While the Cheetos didn't really add much spiciness, it added a crunchier texture and some of the Cheetos flavor, which was fun! The salsa that you can add on the side are a great combination (especially the red one is actually spicy). It was very cheesy and generous with the meat. The tortilla part was also delicious.
