The people working the 7 p.m. shift at Blaze Pizza were incredibly rude and disrespectful. I walked in and stood there for about 10 minutes while no one even acknowledged me. They were focused on to-go orders and didn't bother helping the customer standing right in front of them until I finally had to ask if someone could help me. Then the employee putting pizzas in the oven was openly rude to multiple customers. Every time someone asked for ranch, he loudly snapped that it costs money. We understand there's a charge, but there's no reason to speak to customers like that. I've never seen someone talk to paying customers with that kind of attitude. Either train your staff properly or hire people who understand basic customer service. I will never return to Blaze again. read more

Blaze has always been fail-proof for me and this location didn't disappoint. Cane in around 8pm on Friday and there were still decent amount of people. The server who helped me was nice. I asked for two types of sauces divided on my pizza and he happily did that. Pizza came out of the oven super quickly! I was a bit surprised by how fast it came out. This location has broccoli. Maybe a new thing or just this location? It's been awhile since I've been to blaze but I don't remember seeing that before. Parking is abundant, the dining room is clean, and there are lots of options for beverage including Agua Fresca. There are some vegan options for protein toppings as well. I placed a mobile order today 2/1/26 at around 7:16pm. I arrived early and had to wait for my order. While I waited the man that was working the oven area was super polite, friendly and had great customer service, sadly we did not get his name. He let us know that our order was not ready but would be shortly. He asked if there was anything else that we needed and double checked our order. The restaurant ambiance was very nice! We decided to come here during a quick overnight trip to the Omni. We had a great experience at Blaze pizza in Orlando and thought maybe the reviews for this Blaze were incorrect. We quickly learned they were not. No one greeted us. The girl who took our order looked upset we were there. We ordered 2 high rise pizzas. Either she was brand new or had never been trained bc she couldn't get our pizza to flatten and stretch in the machine. She resorted to trying to do it by hand but it ended up being an uneven blob. We went to adding our toppings. I wasnt sure at the time but now I'm absolutely sure she put way too much sauce. The pizza ended up getting mushy before we could finish eating it. The soda fountain was also a joke. It had no carbination- so everything was flat. Trust the reviews and skip this blaze pizza. You will be happy you did. read more

If you want your order done correctly, DO NOT order online. I've ordered twice and both times they've gotten it wrong. The second time I checked before I left the store and had them remake both pizzas entirely. Everything I wanted was printed correctly on the receipt but attention to detail lacks here. As far as dine in experience, I've also had mistakes to my order made right in front of me. I had already waited long enough so I just took my pizza. Rachael (I think that's how you spell her name) is so nice and willing to make sure my order meets or exceeds my standards. All ingredients look fresh and kitchen looks clean! On 01/06/2025 I went to blaze pizza in Palm Desert. Order#32282482282659840. When I got to the bottom of my iced tea I found a disgusting blob of something. I went back to the store and told the staff what I found. They seemed disinterested in what I showed them, I felt like they thought I only wanted a refund. I went over to the iced tea container and opened the lid only to find a nasty drip tray inside the tea with more of the goopy globs floating inside. People were drinking out of this. My hypothesis of what happened was, the people closing put the drip dray inside of the tea container. They didn't wash it out or even look inside of it. When the opening staff came they just put out the tea with the old tea and drip tray inside. I ate there at 2:30pm meaning that this was day old tea soaking in a drip tray. This negligence is unacceptable. read more

This location is absolutely horrible! We just waited over an hour for our pizza. We were #5 in line and it took us over 30 minutes to place our order. Online orders kept pouring in with no regard for those standing in line and no one behind the counter informed us of an extra long wait time. Try this scenario: entering any restaurant and quietly standing around for 20 minutes with NOTHING happening. Except, the workers are there merely feet away, and they see you and you see them. It really makes you want to yell out factually: "Hey, stupid! It's not my job to say hello to you BUT IT IS YOUR DAMN JOB to always engage me (the customer)." Although, the occasional other guests who show up are given attention. It's only you who's ignored--which implies some kind of specific prejudice being played out there. But that's a story for another day. Instead, here's the actual story which took place: I'd placed an online order and arrived to this location. When I walked through the door, none of the four employees present greeted me. Then, I stood 10 minutes DIRECTLY AT the order pickup spot--where two workers were watching over the oven--and neither inquired why I was there. No simple "you picking up?" or "what do you need?" In fact, it appeared they purposely disregarded a paying patron who was the reason for them having jobs. Figuring mine wasn't yet ready, I switched to waiting nearby (only a few yards away) for another 10 minutes, in odd silence. The staff continued to moved about. After nearly half an hour, my name was finally called by an individual who acted as if he didn't know which customer the order was for, when I was the only person waiting there all that time. Throughout, ONE other employee managed to give me a quick timid glance--like we were a couple who'd broken up the relationship and now the other party was "visibly" (quotes are for foreshadowing) uneasy to my presence. (Sarcasm) but imagine my tremendous appreciation... It could be suggested that the staff was very busy. Well, they were busy... TALKING/LAUGHING AMONG THEMSELVES and with other patrons. Or, this being Palm Desert, it might be I neither looked like a homeless person nor a tourist, because the workers would promptly respond to the loitering homeless guy by asking him to immediately leave and to the flashy tourist by asking him to spend more more more money. Instead, I looked like an average joe getting pizza lunch and wasn't interesting enough for these colorful clowns. But what they didn't realize was I'd been to numerous other Blaze locations around the country and this pathetic ordeal had never happened. About half the time, I would get a greeting right after going through the door. ALL THE TIME, someone would acknowledge me if I got anywhere near the pickup station. In fact, I'd visited this same location before and it was a much different/better experience. So, what the fuck happened? Who taught these clueless halfwits that it was perfectly normal to not approach or question a customer who'd shown up inside? Perhaps they were acting subdued, embarrassed due to recognizing how lethargic their service was (a frequent complaint in other eater reviews)? OR was it simply incompetent, unqualified individuals being awarded their jobs because this was California--where they hired just about anybody per "compassion" or "diversity" or some other business-irrelevant bullshit? This incident would be describing specifically the entire crew who was working at noon on this past Thursday. To the business owner or franchisee: you should watch the recording (if there was a camera). Then, fire the entire useless lot. THERE WAS a final fuck-you (to me) from the restaurant: they didn't include sauces that I'd requested. Luckily, I found out and drove back to the restaurant before I'd gotten too far, but still... At last, with sauces (handed over in disdain by a "visibly" annoyed employee, and guess which one!?) finally in hand, I began enduring my NOW COLD, DEFLATED pizza and chessy bread. P.S.
