Best PJ's in LA. They always get it right. Only bad thing I can say is that the parking sucks most of the time.

Why has it taken me so long to go here??? Easily in the top 5 of pizza in New Orleans (and I say…read morethat as respect to the other pizza chefs doing great work in the city, not anything against Forbidden Pizza). There were three in our group, and we decided to go with a Garden of Eatin' whole pie, plus slices of the Italian Stallion, Pepperoni Pleaser, and the Burrata Bliss. I only had the Italian Stallion and the pepperoni, so I'll keep it to that for now. The pepperoni was delicious. It's the kind of pepperoni that cups and chars just a little on the edges and that's my love language. The sausage on the other was phenomenal and I would eat it off the floor if it fell! I'm told that the Burrata was delicious and so was the whole pie. There were so many green peppers on it! Not my thing, but they didn't skimp on the ingredients. The location is cool but kind of small, so make plans accordingly. They have the pies by the slice in cases at the front so you can see everything, which was really cool. There is also a nice bar area and the bartender was very friendly and fast, even on a busy night. I'm sad that I couldn't get the Some Like It Hot as a slice but that's good incentive to go back! It looked amazing. Last thing, I read some reviews that mentioned it being expensive. It's a little more pricey than a few of the other places I've been, but well below anything else in that neighborhood. Definitely not the most expensive pizza around and worth every penny!

The pizza is traditional New York style, which I enjoy, and it's a great spot if you're looking to grab a slice with plenty of options to choose from. That said, I found the slices to be a little lacking in flavor. Since they're reheated before serving, that may affect the overall taste and texture. The pizza is still good, but I was hoping for a bit more seasoning and flavor. Overall, it's a solid place to stop if you're craving New York style pizza or want to try a variety of slices.

We've had a few people recommend this new pizza place to us in a week, so we had to go try…read more The service was great. Everyone seemed really nice and helpful. It was cool to see the pizza ovens right behind the register. The red top pizza was bomb. It was crispy but still saucy. They do a garlicky butter crust on their pizza which we thought was really nice. It had really good herbs in the crust. The buffalo pizza was pretty good too. Large chunks of chicken with a bit of cheese and a blue cheese sauce drizzled on top. I wish there was a bit more tomato sauce / buffalo sauce, but that's just my preference. Overall, the pizza did remind me of a thin, crispy NE style pizza. And I love that they do by the slice too. I would love to try their white pizza next

Street parking only, but don't let that stop you from popping in! We were greeted right away by both the chef and the waitress. So nice and friendly! We ordered cheese pizza and some drinks. Totally easy to eat in the car while waiting for our rooms to be ready. The cheese pull on the first bite was absolutely gorgeous! Perfect warmth, perfect sauce to cheese ratio, delicious crust. This is a triple whammy! Definitely take the time to check them out. They have lots of indoor seating and it's cool inside!

My wife and I have been passing this place for months and finally got the chance to stop by. I'm…read moreoriginally from Chicago and she's originally from New York so we have the Pizza debate all the time. She has friends who eat there a lot and keep saying how amazing it is. First Impressions: This place is NICE. When I got the chance to look around it is the perfect first date spot for *anybody*. The menu is diverse for a Pizzeria. They even have a chef selected Salumi Board. In the end we split a Sensation salad(which is the best I've had), Calamari Fritti, Carnosa and Mushroom Medley. The Good: Our server was Andrea. She was outstanding. She did her best to take care of us and in the end she went above and beyond with her service. The Calamari was ok but seemed to be more breaded than actual Protein. The first thing that came to mind when I tried the Marinara was "Fresh". It tasted like it was obviously done that morning. The Not So Good: When Andrea took our order she made it a point to tell us that she would space out our order. That didn't happen. And she told us the kitchen didn't follow her orders. Everything came seconds from each other. I understand a sense of urgency because the parking lot is always full and they want to push the crowds in a way where the next wave can have a place to park...But the restaurant wasn't even full. The Parking lot was but there were plenty of tables available. In the end we felt Serve and Burned. The Pizza: The char on the doh was great. I love a good fired oven pizza. But the pizza itself didn't seem like it was cooked all the way through. When I picked up a slice it just flopped down. My wife's pizza was dry. She ended up asking if they had any kind of garlic butter. And Andrea understood the assignment. She came back with the Shrimp Scampi sauce it ended up making it seem to be the one thing the Mushroom Medley needed all along. (I 100% Recommend it.) My pizza was ok, but only when the 3 slices I took a bite of had all of the toppings on them. Less than half of the pizza had Pepperoni on it. I did not get the impression that this was something that happens all the time so we will be back. I would still recommend this place to everybody.
