Great food here today. Got the Lit Pizza, Jalapeno Cheese Bread and Pomegranate Lemonade. All were delicious and will definitely go again. Crisp crust. Hot pizza. Great toppings-add the roasted onions. The cheese bread came out dark on the bottom. I'm ok with char, but this was more burnt and you could taste it. Took it to the counter and the server gladly redid it and I saw they took great care to hold our bread up so it wouldn't over cook. Lots of different searing style inside and out. First time to a Lit Pizza and it was nice. I had no idea how to order or where to go but they had some super sweet employees that were really helpful. I chose the easy caprese and it was enough for 2. It's a cracker thin kinda pizza crust and thankfully it wasn't burnt in the brick oven. Loved that. We got there right before the noon rush. The line seemed to get pretty long as we were leaving so obviously this is much loved lunch spot. I enjoyed the pizza and although it wasn't my favorite type it was still a decent lunch for around $13. read more

Pizza is so generic but not here. There are many selections for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. While I'm not a vegetarian, ai am allergic to pork and finding a place that offers meats that aren't pork is hard. Not here. Their bbq chicken pizza is so good and they're happy to make is sans bacon. Most recently, they've added a ground beef option which tickled my fancy. I love the brick oven taste and thin crust. Not to mention the blood orange lemonade (bussin'). Sometimes I buy s gallon. I don't want to write a review until i got a chance to visit both locations. The food was just a phenomenal as the Burbank location. A strange complaint and my only issue was that it was so cold inside? That our pizza got too cold too fast. (I would never take a star away for properly working air conditioning, in south Louisiana). This also comes from visiting the Burbank location on July 4th, and their air wasn't working. (As a restaurant kitchen manager, I know that was a rough day). Food was great! I decided to try this place since I had the same thing as blaze Pizza. Unfortunately despite having the same thing in the experience was horrible. The staff acted like they didn't want to work at the place and seem like I was interrupting their day by being there to order a pizza. The first pizza they put into the oven they ended up burning, and had to remake a new one for me. Second pizza ended up being soggy to where you can only eat the cheese and toppings the breading broke apart each slice of pizza. I asked do they give a card for a free return pizza like blaze does when they mess up a pie, they said no. I really enjoy the laid back atmosphere here! Pizza is always a hit! Now they have a cauliflower crust which is a part of the "keto" diet! My daughter is partial to just the plain pepperoni pizza but I like making a custom pizza with the cauliflower crust which is only 4 grams of carbs! I find their servings of toppings has been fresh generous. It is not hard for me to eat the whole thing! That's how good it is!!! The location is convenient for me since it is in my neighborhood and my family likes it too! My daughter likes the big chocolate chip cookies and they also have premise salads. They also have adult beverages - craft beers and wines. I also like their different flavors of lemonade - all of them! LIT was described to me as a subway style build your own fresh pizza restaurant and I was very impressed They seem to have great happy hour specials and a wine and beer menu Every month they promote a featured "pizza of the month" but also have a very solid list of specialty pizzas or a build your own option I went with the lasagna pizza of the month which was great and my husband built his own. Clean, courteous staff and the pizza are "Lit" ( no pun intended). I was so impressed when the gentleman inadvertently put salt on my pizza because he thought l had requested it. He apologized and re-made me another pizza with a smile. Good service seems to be fading at most places, but it's not the case here. The prices are reasonable for the size and options you can have on your pizza. The pizza are taken out of the stone oven and are served hot. Update: So this was my second time visiting LIT since it opened in Gonzales. It was still very yummy and service was good. I'm rating higher this time because of service. It is one of the few places I can go and order pizza with no cheese and they are accommodating without hesitation.
