This Papa John's is generally great! we have only had one instance where a sub-par pizza was delivered (it was burned to a crisp) and the manager fixed the problem by quickly issuing a refund. I've noticed as of late that Papa John's will sometimes use Door Dash, instead of their own delivery drivers. There's no way to know at the time of ordering if it will be DD or a Papa employee who delivers. This is mainly an issue because DD always takes forever to pick up the order, and it's not as hot and fresh as it is when a Papa employee delivers. all in all, this is one of the best pizza joints in Liberty. read more

If I could rate this business 0 stars, I would. We've tried to give them multiple chances to get our orders right, and it just doesn't happen. We've submitted online orders and they claim they never received them. We have ordered 30 minutes before we needed to pick up, and it's terrible service. Ordered a small pizza, Two 8 piece wings, and bread sticks. Only got one 8 piece wings and never received the other 8 piece. Called the restaurant.. Was told they would deliver the other 8 piece ASAP. Never happened. Went up there before close, Phil the night time manager is whom I spoke with. I was told I would receive a refund within 3-5 days. This is the 3rd time I've ordered from here where there has been no mask, we ask for contactless and they will ring the doorbell and stand there until we answer the door in which they are standing there with no mask. Im 95% ,sure our county is still under mask ordinance. While some might say this isn't a big deal, well it is for me, #1 I have lupus and I'm immune compromised and right now I have to more careful than ever, and #2 I literally just had surgery on Tuesday and I cant walk. I've called and complained before and I get pushed off, this may seem do small to alot of you. But I just had a good friend of my 42 yrs old pass away from this virus, and I feel for 3 sons and her husband. What are the drivers excuse? It was uncomfortable, I forgot. Do not order delivery from Papa Johns in Liberty as you will most likely not receive it any time time soon. Delivery was terrible, I had to call an hour and a half after placing the order to see where my order was. The store person I talked to could have cared less and offered to make another order and have it delivered in another 45 minutes. Lousy service and even worse in attitude. Will never do business with Papa Johns again. Papa John's are not normally bad, but this one is. Had pizza delivered several times and they were always late and cold. Got a few discounted pizzas from the late delivery and got sick on each and everyone of them. No I mean every one of us got sick on the pizza, not good when you are feeding a bunch on teenagers. Thought I know I will just start picking up the pizzas, but that did not work either, still got sick just like everyone else that eat the pizza. Stopped going to this location. I reserve 5 stars for family only and I will admit that we are becoming up close and personal with the delivery staff. They are wonderful! As for the food, the Garlic Parmsean Bread sticks are divine as are the knots. Pizza is an issue in our house. I want thin crust, he wants regular crust. We seldom order a menu or Specialty pizza but, the rule of thumb is Thin Crust up to 4 toppings and and 5 or more toppings requires a regular crust. They are generous with toppings! Sides are limited. Chicken poppers, meh. Wings are good and they offer several types of Bbq sauce and of course the standard hot wings. They also offer unsauced wings, my favorite, served with your choice of sauce. Desserts are yummy. Chocolate Chip cookies are crisp and warm. The Chocolate Chip Brownies are killer! Tip: Lift the lid of the delivery box as soon as it arrives. The steam from the fresh baked chocolate goodness needs to get out or the brownie isn't gonna comes out in nicely sliced pieces. Either way, the taste divine! My only complaint with Papa John's is their lack of diet soft drinks. The only option is Diet Pepsi which is okay but I would really like a choice that doesn't have caramel coloring added. Can you please add Diet Mountain Dew?! read more
