The place is a local legend on the east side of the KC metro. In full transparency - I look for 4 major things when it comes to pizza: 1- Green olives 2- Hearty, tasty sauce 3- A crust with some substance 4- Green olives Tim's has it all - including green olives! Not enough places offer green olives and this is a huge miss in my opinion. The pizza has always been ready on time and the service has been good. Support this local business and get the green olives and the ham. The ham is finely chopped (unique in my experience) and for some reason that just makes it taste better. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the fact that they need to update the dining room and start accepting cards for payment. read more

Tim's Pizza as we knew it is gone. The quality of the pizza has tanked. The new owner uses tomato paste for sauce and layers it on like icing on a child's birthday cake. I discovered Tim's in 2019 and have been a fan since. I always figured a crowded lot is a great sign. You don't get cheated on the ingredients and they take them to the edge. I love having some char on the crust and aside from a few pies it has been perfect for me. I also believe in supporting local businesses so I don't mind paying for amount of food they give me. Best. This is not trendy pizza or authentic Italian or cracker crust. This is great dough with lots of toppings, great American pizza. Closest to the old Raytown Funhouse style...and that's a compliment. The toppings are plentiful and fresh and delicious. I'm not a vegetarian but their veggie pizza is great too. This is the BEST pizza in the Kansas City area! Their pizza is LOADED with toppings and the crust is crispy. The nicest people on the planet run the place. The best pizza - carried on from the days of Happy Joe's pizza. When we visit from the Ozarks we try to make a stop to eat. But shame on me for not checking their hours of operation; surprised to find they close at 7 PM on Saturday nights when the pizza cafe in our town with a population of 600 is open until 10 PM. Updating my review for Tim's. It is staying the same 5-star review I just want to reiterate how great it is. My go to order is an extra cheese, double pepperoni and it is always on point. These days it is hard to feel like you get your money's worth places but I don't feel that way with Tim's. Yes, it is more expensive than a chain restaurant but you definitely get what you pay for when you order from a chain and the same can be said for Tim's. Tim's is one of my favorite's. Quite possibly it's one of the best pizza places in Missouri. yep. It is in a shopping strip mall, at the turn in at the parking lot of Country Meadows Shopping Center. (I also use the jeweler in the same area, and the groomer.) As other reviewers have said, you order when you walk into the door, take your drink, sit down. They nearly follow you with your order. Generally I order pizza, but they also have pasta and sandwiches. There's specials daily. The topping isn't just placed on pizza carefully, like the $10.00 pizzas available today. The toppings are poured on the pizza with a measuring cup, and the crust is smothered with topping. The topping is piled. The crust is crunchy, but not like a Saltine's cracker. They are not greasy, either. They have vegetarian pizza, but trust me, it's better than what you'd order down the street. I get Hawaiian pizza, usually. They have the regular selections of drinks, and a few video games to play while you wait. There's a banquet room that can easily seat over 50 people .I've used it before. The service is as excellent as it is in the dining room. One thing, they don't take credit or debit cards, so visit the ATM machine before you enter. They take cash and checks. Don't let that scare you off. go to the ATM machine, and then go and try out Tim's Pizza. read more

I have to tell you about an incident that happened last Friday 2/9 around 5:00PM at your establishment. My wife and I came there to eat dinner and we ordered two pizzas ticket number 11166. My wife has food allergies, so we have to be careful not to get contaminated while we waited over 45 minutes for our two pizzas and they still never came to the table and then we notice that someone walked up to the counter and handed back a pizza which was then redelivered to our table cold. When we went up to the counter to tell them that the pizza was cold and noticed that it had been sitting on someone else's table for a while the cook in the back came to the front and just said well it's OK because he said he didn't touch it. The matter if he touched it or not; it was cold and sitting on someone else's table possibly contaminated and my pizza never arrived now we're waiting almost an hour for our food and we just ended up leaving after I asked for a full refund. It just seems that on Friday nights the staff are much younger and don't understand people that have food allergies and how important it is for the people that do have food allergies. I could tell you the reason that the pizza was returned to the front was because my wife is allergic to cheese and there was no cheese on this order. We have eaten here many times in the past and not had incidents with the people that worked during the day but the last couple of times that we have been there in the evenings it seems the pizzas take much longer to come out and there is usually an issue. I just feel that you should know what's going on so hopefully one day we might be able to come back in order the two pizzas that we normally order without having been contaminated. I do have a question and why do they ask you your name when you make the order if they're not going to verify it when they drop off the food at the table. I just feel it would be better for them to verify the name on the ticket instead of just going out and wandering around asking whose pizza this is. The people ahead of us in line got their pizzas in a timely manner and two people after us got their pizzas but we never gut ours and this concerns me and it should concern you as well. read more
