Came in and ordered a pepperoni pizza for my family. Went to Raley's and came back to a cheese pizza... no worries, they said "we will make you a new pizza and give you the mistake pizza" from the manager. We wait, and they give us a pizza that was the cheese pizza and they rebaked the cheese pizza with pepperonis on it! Dry pizza! I don't understand how someone can order a pizza online, and have to wait in the store 35 MINUTES before they even put your order in the oven! The guys claim to be busy, but there is ZERO sense of urgency as they make one pizza every 10 minutes, and disappear while their phone rings off the hook. Ordered a pizza and it was never delivered it took over an hour to go 4 miles to deliver a pizza and it never arrived, no one called and said hey the driver is going to be late or anything. I can walk 4 miles in 40/45 minutes. Bottom line bad business. read more

Ordered 2 pizzas and cheese stuffed bread sticks. When we opened the box the cheese and crust was burnt on one of the pizzas and the breadsticks were burnt on top and not cooked through in the center. Called to notify manager Debra. She immediately told me there was no way it was burnt because she saw all the pizzas going out. She told me it was impossible for the pizza to be burnt because of the cooking process. She also told me everyone has their own idea of burnt and wanted me to describe the pizza. After letting her know I would be writing a yelp review she decided to resend a pizza. I never wanted another pizza, I just wanted to inform the manager I wasn't 100% happy with my pizza. I never write reviews. But my service was so terrible, that if I could give this review zero stars, I would. I called, was placed on hold for ten minutes, and was hung up on. I called back and they took my order, told me it was going to be 45 minutes and explained to me that they were busy. I understand, and hour and fifteen minutes later, we get an order, but not our order. So I call back and they tell me it will be another 35 minutes, very apologetic, I understand, and I tell them I will go pick up the pizza. I'm not from the area, heck, I am not from California for that matter, so the address I pull up is on Yosemite, which was not even correct, fine my fault I don't know where I am going. I finally get the correct address and show up to the store. But the thing that set me over the edge is that the girl that delivered my pizza has the audacity to throw a box and the manager with the bread sticks that happened to be my order. I even tipped this girl. So terrible service all the way around. I get home and they still made the pizza incorrectly but at this point It is a loss cause. Went on 6/17/16 about 6:00 pm. I ordered the Alfredo pizza, medium. Paid about $16.00. Brought it home and it was severely under cooked, soggy and not edible. Threw the whole thing out. I called and asked for the 11.99 up to 10 topping special, and was told that the manager had changed it to only 2 toppings. When I asked about the sign they had posted by the road I was told there was nothing she could do about it. She suggested I order online as there is a promotion for an 11.99 combination, so I ordered "The Chicken Garlic" chose no mushrooms or artichokes for pick up. When I got to work, I found there were mushrooms and artichokes on the pizza (I know I should have checked at the restaurant, but I was running late as it was). I called to make a complaint, spoke to the same female that told me the 11.99 10 topping pizza was only 2 toppings, and she told me there was nothing she could do for me. I asked her why, and she said that that was how the pizza came, and I should have paid attention to what I ordered, then hung up. I haven't had Papa Johns in a while and didn't remember why. Last night i ordered delivery from there. I always liked their pizza and heard it was under new management and thought I would give them a try, again. I ordered online and received a confirmation email at 8:11pm. At 9:18 my wife called them to find out where our order was. The lady told her they were very busy,but our pizza was out for delivery and would be delivered in the next 15 minutes...8:35 my wife calls again and is told the same thing. My wife tells them please call the driver and find out when they're going to arrive. The lady tells her she'll call the driver and call right back. 8:57 my wife calls again...this time the lady tells her she's very sorry I'm putting you on hold and getting the manager. Only she forgets to put her on hold and leaves the line open and my wife can hear another customer yelling in the background about the same thing we're calling for and the manager telling the employee they don't have time to talk to us they're too busy...tell us we get 30% off our next order and they'll send us a free salad tonight with our order??? Our pizza hasn't even left yet??? As we're on the phone with them the delivery driver shows up with out the free salad, the wrong soda and cold pizza @ 10pm. Now I remember why we quit Papa Johns in the first place. Good pizza, not worth the hassle. I'm done with this location. Emailed corporate last night to complain too. read more

I would of rated no stars but it wouldn't let me. Worst experience with a pizza spot ever!! They not only took 2hrs to deliver my order which was cold & sloppy! But I was offer a redelivery which I accepted against my better judgement & it was wrong. Spoke with their shift mgr some woman with an attitude who offered me no help & called me a liar then hung up in my face!! I then called back & spoke with another mgr (who told me his name was crab ... OK) who also offered me no help because I ordered online & some bullshit about not being able to give me my money back until their funds go threw a few days from now. Wtf .... when ever has this been a thing?! Never mind the pizza the mgrs customer service skills are horrible. When is it ever OK to hang up in a customers face & not give a refund for a product they didn't order or want? I'll wait ..... worst experience ever 3 hrs later I have no pizza & have to cook a meal for hungry children! I'll never revisit this establishment or refer a friend! First off I would like to start out by saying that this Papa Johns pizza is under new ownership so if you had a bad experience with them before don't be afraid to revisit them. Papa Johns has my favourite pizza there are several pizza places e in Manteca but the reason I prefer Papa Johns is not just for the friendly staff, But the crust on the pizza is amazing and the pizza itself is really good either hot or cold .I got a large pizza, four $14 with two toppings and it was so good that I sat down and ate three slices write in the restaurant the management is incredibly friendly and my order did not take very long to make the restaurant itself is clean and the pizza was so good that I had it for breakfast next morning even though it had been sitting in my car all night and it still tasted good cold I had three pieces for breakfast I probably should not have done that because I'm probably going to gain weight if I keep eating like this but its okay I guess it's my decision anyway The meet that Papa Johns uses is a very high quality meat It's thick and it tastes really good.
