Was hoping they would have done better by now..the pizza was okay greasy and crust was very flat,the potato poppers were cold and the cinnamon twists were not the same as what's on their online menu, they are just churos ,no cinnamon and not twisted or fluffy and pretty tough. I noticed that the 2 side items are not even the same as they advertise. I honestly think this is false advertising. Another huge thing is trying to find out what's on the menu with prices. This location is very stingy when making pizzas here. Large area of crust around the outside with ZERO SAUCE OR CHEESE. Made it pointless to order a larger pizza since they use the same quantity of sauce, cheese and toppings as they would on a Medium. We have only ordered twice here since moving from Turlock. Since I love the Livermore location, decided to try the Manteca location for a quick dinner on the run. Ordered on Grubhub and our large All Meat came right on time and was piping hot. Toppings weren't as plentiful as the Livermore location but still a very good pizza for the price. I really like their dough and sauce which tastes like it has wine in it. Disappointed to update my review by removing stars. We have been regular customers for years. Our last few experiences with pizza guys have been very frustrating. We ordered delivery from them about a month ago and I had to call after over an hour to ask where our order was. There was so much confusion over the phone. First, I spoke to 3 different people because they kept putting me on hold and taking me off. First they said I never ordered a pizza and then someone finally said it was on it's way. It took almost 2 hours to arrive. Yesterday, we ordered again and endured another frustrating experience. I ordered delivery at 4:10 pm. By 5:10 pm, our order still had not arrived. I was just about to call them when the doorbell rang. It was our pizza but our driver had left one of our pizzas behind. He was very nice but he told me they could either refund us, give us a credit or he "didn't mind" going back to get our pizza..... of course, we wanted our pizza..... so we sent him back for it. He returned after another 20 minutes and included some ice cream and another soda, which was nice.... But once again, total delivery time was over an hour and a half. They recently changed their website, which is where we order from. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, or if they are short staffed, or what. But we are not ordering again any time soon. read more

I love Pizza Guys, my kids do, too. It's a treat for us as we don't eat out much. Always had good experience here, pizza is great, staff is nice and quick especially considering the pandemic. I usually order curbside, but went inside tonight. Immediately upon entering, there's a young female, long hair in a messy ponytail yelling at what I thought were employees about how she "couldn't even go to the back because she had to f****king babysit" and I was shocked to hear someone 1. Talk that loud with multiple customers inside this small place. 2. Talk to their employees that way. Low and behold a small child comes running out of the back, hair down, in a kitchen.. and I'm even more shocked to hear this woman talking to children like that. Not sure what kids are doing behind a Pizza Guys kitchen, but it's gross and not okay. Also, the language to the children, gross. On top of this, my pizzas were both incorrect. One unlimited toppings was ordered with multiple toppings for the whole pizza and add Canadian bacon to one side. Pizza had all toppings on one side and only Canadian bacon on the other. Not a mistake by me, I have attached my order. Also ordered a pizza with pineapple that was hardly cooked, crunchy and we had to take it off to eat it. Perhaps if there were not children in the back that this young lady had to vulgarly babysit, the attention to detail would have been paid into the food, itself, and also the customer service that was represented. Took an hour and 25 minutes to get our food and it arrived cold. I refused the order and called the store to have it remade. The manager said they were busy and that's why my food was cold. I don't mind the fact that it took and hour and 25 minutes to get my food. I mind the fact that we live 2.4 miles from their store and they can't manage to get my food to me hot and then give me the excuse that they are busy. read more

Disappointed in their delivery service. I ordered at 440 and pizza did not arrive until 6pm and lukewarm. When I ordered online it gave a 40 min eta. I do wish there was a way to notify the customer with an up to date eta. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: We've ordered pizza from here roughly a dozen times. I have celiac and celiac people like pizza too. It's not easy finding a place that won't cause an allergic reaction. Things had been going pretty well. Up until the last order. They called to say they were out of the GF crust. Then asked if we wanted the regular crust. I was completely baffled. I told her no thank you and she told me we could get a bigger pizza. I told her I had celiac, she didn't seem to understand. This tells me some of the staff does not understand the difference and importance of a GF crust. Hopefully management educates the staff on allergies. read more

I've been having a difficult time making the switch from the eastern half of the country to the western half. Food, of course, is a personal thing, and pizza for me is even more personal, having worked in the pizza business over two years. Pizza in town is rather expensive, and not always good. I've been hearing good things about Pizza Guys and decided to try them tonight. I usually buy a Deluxe/Supreme/Combo pizza and thanks to their coupon, I got $2.00 off a rather expensive 12 inch/medium combo, bring $16.99 to $14.99. I ordered online and I'm within easy walking distance of the store, so I can save delivery fees and driving. As I arrived a little early, they were ready with the pizza. The box seemed small, but I actually measured later and it was 12 inches across the pie. The staffers were friendly and they mentioned that I got free ice cream or a free 2 litre bottle of soda, which is a great plus. I like the taste a lot, though I still find the price a bit much but it's cheaper than Mountain Mike's or Round Table pizza. I tried the Pizza Builder link on the web site and came up with a more expensive pizza with fewer ingredients. I had a few problems with the web site not being able to clear out the extra pizza but I eventually resolved that by starting back at the beginning with a New Order. They'll be getting more of my business. If there is a real problem, it's that they close around 10 p.m. I guess no one wants pizza around midnight in this area. read more

Tonight I took my family to order pizza at Pizza Guys on Yosemite in Manteca at 9:20PM. Door was open and open sign was on, while hours on sign stated that they closed at 10PM. With 6 employees behind the counter the manager told my family that they were short staffed and the ovens just got turned off and they refused to take our order. Luckily, Jack's Pizza down the street (also closing at 10PM with only 3 employees on staff) took our order. I forgot how much better Jack's pizza is over Pizza Guys. Good luck to Pizza Guys while they hire managers with poor judgment. read more
