I placed my order at 11:27 PM Saturday night and the delivery person took an hour to deliver to be exact the order was delivered at 12:49 pm, i only ordered 16 piece wings with 2 Ranch sauces. One item. Just one little item to be delivered an Hour after i placed the order, for $31 that is to much of a wait time. And on top of that they did not even include my 2 ranch sauces, to wait such a long time and for the service to be this crappy i cannot understand how the managers allow for this to happen. And also i kept calling and calling the papa johns to see what was going on because the tracker kept saying "order on the way" but there was no movement whats so ever and they were not answering the call just the machine saying the store has been closed. Honestly very crappy service. For one item and to not even get the order correct, it is just unbelievable. read more

The employees are excellent when taking my order on the phone and usually my order is ready on time... But one time, I placed an order on the phone for a pickup before going to work and the employee told me it will be ready in about 16 minutes.. That was no problem because I knew by the time I get there, it will be ready.. I got there around the time it could have been ready, but the employee told me it will be 16 minutes.. I was confused... She told me she was the only one working.. I asked if she already started on my food.. She said no. So I canceled my order. It would have been nice if she had given me a heads up that she was short in staff and that my order was going to take longer than normal. And today at 4:33 pm, I placed an order on the phone while on my way to work, I was told it will take up to 16 minutes... Not a problem for me. I got there at 4:50pm and paid. The employee told me it wI'll take another 5 minutes ( it was in the oven). I was hoping to get it by the time I paid. But I thought 5 minutes is not too bad. I had to be at work at 5:30. But 10 minutes passed and I asked another employee showing my receipt about me order. He told me it will be about 6 more minutes, I was like I can't wait much longer and I asked the other employee who gave me my total and I paid and she said 5 more minutes... I was tempted to ask for a refund and leave but I just got my food and went to work. I understand they were very busy with so many orders... I just wished the employee who took my order on the phone had let me know they were very busy with so many orders and that my food was going to take longer than normal instead of telling me it will be ready in up to 16 minutes and i get there and have to wait another 15 minutes. read more

Sometimes a Chef just wants pizza! I have called and called to place an order. I was placed on hold twice by the same man. I don't live in this area and am saddened at the way the staff at this location treat customers. I am getting ready to drive there directly to place my order. I ordered pizza for my friends who lived near this Papa Johns and the delivery driver cussed out the people receiving the pizza for the tip. Regardless of how much you get tipped, you are not going to complain to it to the supposed customer's face. There is clearly an issue going on here, and they need to fix it. read more

I haven't ordered for a few years from Papa John's. The comercial got me and I ordered a jack o lantern pizza for $11. This was worse than comparable pizzas at Pizza Hut or dominoes. Better ingredients? Not true. The pepperoni, the only topping, was no different than the cheap stuff bought it grocery stores. The pasta a sauce was without flavor. Most important, the pepperoni was not arranged toile a jack o lantern As it was in the commercial. That was the gimmick, the hook, and the execution was terrible. So no, this was not a good experience and yes, there are better pizzas for the same or cheaper prices. Go to dominoes. Get the $5.99. It's the same and has better flavor. And what happened to the garlic sauce? That's not standard with pizza any longer? read more

Ordered a pizza online. Received notification that it was ready. Went to pickup. They told my son 3-4 min wait. He waited over 20 mins. I go in and they say we are about to make your pizza NOW!! WTF! Horrible service. I get here 5 min after they said it was supposed to be done and one of my pizzas wasn't started until I was next in line. Also they couldn't find pizzas and the found pizzas. Actually just left the store after waiting over 20 minutes for my order that sat on a shelf and was ready a long time ago. I stood there in awe as every employee there ignored all the customers in the lobby. One employee (I would mention her name but none of them were name tags) stood there berating another employee loudly while we waited (he by the way was the only employee wearing a hair cover - which was a doo-rag...). I witnessed a driver that had returned from making a delivery jump right in and start preparing food without even washing his hands! I also saw the guy that was kneading the pizza dough answer the phone then return to kneading the dough without washing his hands! By this time I had had enough - I called an employee over and demanded my money back. Mr. Schroeder will be receiving a call from me in the morning but I will never eat here again. I would recommend this Papa Johns. This was my first experience ordering from this restaurant. I was very skeptical that I would get anything but your run of the mill, frozen or school cafeteria tasting pizza. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the pan style johns favorite pizza with pineapples, 2 brisk ice teas, chicken wings, and the cinnamon bun type dessert. (I forget the actual name) I placed my order online and paid with credit at around 9 pm. (Because it was so late I was extremely concerned that the pizza and other items would have been sitting around for a long time and delivered to me in an attempt to get rid of their used inventory for the day. But we were hungry and all agreed on ordering food from a place that was open and readily available at the time. So we rolled the dice and went ahead and ordered.) The estimated delivery time was 31-41 minutes. When 35 minutes passes I called the restaurant to see the status of my order and was told my delivery should arrive any minute from the time of this call. So I hung up the phone and decided to go and wait for the delivery man at the front entrance of my building. TOO MY SURPRISE as soon as I stepped out of my apartment and looked out the window the driver literally pulled into the parking lot RIGHT ON TIME!!!! I was so HAPPY!! (it's not fun being around extremely hungry people. THEY ARE MEAN!) Although, the driver forgot my drinks he immediately went back to the store and brought it back in a reasonable amount of time. When I got the food it was all still hot. I could feel it through the boxes. When we actually saw and tasted the food, it was AAAMMMAAZING!!!! The pizza was cooked perfectly. I wanted it well done and it was just so without being burnt or dry. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and like they just took it out the oven. The dessert was good but could have been better, as the icing seemed to be lacking in amount and distinct flavor. I would have given a higher score except for ONE thing: Before I got to the front entrance of my building, Instead of calling me when he arrived like I requested, the driver decided to honk his horn very loudly, which let everyone in the neighborhood know he was there. (If I had not already decided to come out when I did I would have totally ignored the honking.) And when I asked if he normally honked his horn for customers, he said yes for his safety. HMMM??WTF??? I would think speaking with the person who actually placed the order and ensuring the identity of the person you are encountering would be a better option than bringing attention to yourself in a quiet neighborhood of hardworking families where you perceive danger. Anyway that rubbed me the wrong way. Overall I was very impressed with the food, and exceptional delivery speed. I would definitely reorder from this place and recommend others to do so as well. read more
