Papa Johns has the ordering and the painless picking up of a pizza down to a science. That's probably what keeps them in business. Their online ordering is easy, detailed and they accurately predict when your pizza will be ready so they don't waste your time. The location in Sandy Springs is easy to get in and out of and it is easy to park, pick up your pizza and go. The pizza is good - not great- and it is a good option for drop in company. I ordered a 5 topping calzone stuffed crust pizza. I thought the stuffed crust might be interesting. It wasn't. I'll go back to a simple large next time. One major shortcoming was the toppings. I ordered 5 toppings - pineapple, spinach, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes. What I got was a whole lot of pineapple, lots of pineapple, but maybe a single mushroom sliced into 6 pieces, a small scattering of onions, a sprinkling of diced tomatoes and at best, a few chopped up leaves of spinach. In short, the pizza was short - very short - on toppings. That's just pizza malpractice. I paid for the extra toppings. It doesn't cost that much more. The pizza should have been loaded with toppings. It wasn't. You had to seriously search to find a hint of any other topping except the pineapple. Do better. read more

This was my second time here and it was really bad. The pizza dough was a stringy uncooked mess. The boneless wings were like some cheap school nuggets with barely any sauce. Everything was just absolutely terrible. I will never eat here again. read more

Best Papa John's location, in my opinion. I only ever order carry-out, though, so I cannot speak on delivery. They have been ready within 15-20 minutes and the pizzas have hit the spot every time. Sometimes they just give me an extra garlic butter for free instead of the normal 75¢. read more

I've lived in Atlanta since 2012 and have always used the same Papa John's in my area. This was my first time ordering from this location tonight, I chose to phone it in versus internet because I was unsure which location delivered to my new place. I ordered via phone, called back to change it within 4 minutes and they already had my original order cooking fast on a busy 4th of July holiday weekend, I agreed to keep it "as is" but the manager refused and said he wants his customers happy as long as I was willing to wait an extra 10 minutes for delivery. It was delivered hot and fresh to my door in a high rise that takes a haul to get to my door, it's crispy and tastes amazing. They didn't skimp on my order of peppers I paid extra for. I wouldn't recommend this location at all. The drivers are not friendly at all and the manager, Jason is very nonchalant & rude. If the driver brings you the wrong pizza or anything is wrong, he won't correct it anyway, he'll just tell you to come back later. If I order delivery why do I have to come to the place and make sure my order is correct? Very bad service. How do you put Mariana sauce instead of garlic sauce for an extra large pizza? Talk about careless. I've never ordered from a restaurant and spoke to a manager who showed no regard or respect for his place of employment. Ordered from this Papa Johns at 10:30 pm. Food didn't arrive until close to midnight. So yeah, they were busy. They lost two stars for telling me the driver was going to be here in "a few min" at 11:30 pm. He arrived at 11:57 pm. when I asked the driver what time he left the store with my order, he said "11:45 pm". Yeah, well that's why the food was hot. Being a chain....I can't say I'd recommend them. If you live on Hammond order from this location! I ordered from the Papa John's app tonight. Not only did this location do great on time, but somehow they were able to get into my apartment building to deliver right at my door! They must bring a lot of deliveries here. We have no idea how to let people in the apartment building without physically walking outside to let them in, so I was thrilled to get a knock on my apartment door. We thought we'd have to exit the building to get the pizzas. read more

Not only did they inflate my delivery pizza price but it was NOTHING like I ordered...2 whole toppings were missing, it was late and they added a ton of money for a delicious very eye in addition to my tip. Ok, so I only write reviews when the service is superior or terrible. Unfortunately in this one is due to terrible service. I called this Papa John around 630 to place my order. The guy answering the phone was having a hard time taking my order. Either he wasn't listening or couldn't understand simple English. After repeating myself 4-5 times, he finally got my order. He told me it would take 60-70 minutes for the order to arrive. I added on an additional 10 minutes due to the weather. After 90 minutes, I called them to check on the status. Someone picked up the phone and put me on hold. I hung up and called them again. After being on hold for 15 minutes, this guy picked up the phone. I asked him the status of my pizza, and he told me, "it's in the oven." I think it should've been in the oven 2 hours ago. I told the guy that the wait was ridiculous and I needed an indefinite eta of my pizza. This guy then told me he would forward me to his manager and then transfer me without allowing me to say anything else. Once he transferred me, someone picked up the phone and placed me back on hold. . I was on hold for another 10 minutes. I then decided to go pick up the damn pizza myself. While in the car, I decided to call them to let them know I'm coming to get the pizza myself. I was on hold ANOTHER 15 MINUTES until someone picked up the phone. Another guy picked up and told me that the pizza was on the way and it was "hot and fresh." I waited another 20 minutes until the driver arrived. Please keep in mind that I was staying 8 minutes away. Once I finally got my pizza, I took it back to my room. And then guess what everyone...... The pizza was cold as hell....... Very disappointing and they completely let me down. Papa John is my favorite pizza but this service was by far the worst service I've ever received from this company. read more

I ordered 2 topping medium pies and 2 6 piece wings First time ordering from Papa Johns after usually ordering from Dominos. What was right? It was food and I was hungry. The wings tasted good even though they were cold What was wrong? 1. The food took forever to be delivered and all the food was cold. 2. Remember that Wendy's commercial "Where's the beef?" . Used to order from this location weekly but food quality and service had declined to the point where it was no longer worth it. Finally tried again Saturday around 2:30 in the afternoon. Pizza took almost 45 min to arrive and not only was my order completely wrong but the pizza was cold. Called and they sent out the almost correct pizza for free but it was lukewarm and took 35 minutes to arrive. Also, the double toppings I ordered were barely single servings. I ordered on Saturday evening 4 pizza pies for my daughter's birthday, and ask them to deliver it on Sunday at 11:45AM. I had to do it over the phone because the online order didn't give me the option to place a delivery that is not on the same day. On Sunday I called them at 11:55 after I saw that the pizza is not coming, and I have been told that they made a mistake with scheduling my order, but they can deliver it in 30 minutes. We couldn't wait because we had to leave the birthday party place at 12:30PM because it was already reserved for another event, so we told them to cancel our order. I ended up with 20 very hungry little kids and no pizza. I was so upset so I called them after the party was over and spoke with Rebecca or Becky (she told me that she is the manager) and I was trying to figure out what they are planning to do with this situation after ruining our party, she said: "we made a mistake, we cancelled your order, what else you want us to do", I told her that it's unacceptable attitude and service and then she just hang up on me, I called again, somebody else picked up the phone and told me that he is going to transfer me to another manager but after waiting on the line for more than 10 minutes I gave up. On Monday I called the Corporate of Papa Johns, they told me they will forward my complain and I will hear back from them. It's been 36 hours since I spoke with the corporate and nobody contacted me from this branch or the corporate. No customer service and no service at all, unprofessional and rude employees!!! If I could give them less than 1 star I will definitely do that. Do yourself a favor and order from anybody else but them, and save yourself from a terrible experience. read more

I just received an incorrect order from the store listed. When I called to let them know, the store manager suggested that I bring my pizza back in to get my money back. This is the 3rd time that PJ's has gotten my order wrong or been extremely late in delivery, and I am so irritated. I don't want a coupon for another pizza, it would probably be wrong, so why bother? I have 2 little girls who were expecting Pineapple and got Pepperoni... so no, I don't have the energy to load them in the car, at dinnertime on a school night, to go get my money returned to me. I would like for them to bring me my cash back. If they can bring me the wrong pizza, then why can't they bring back the money? I spoke with Stephen, who refused to give me his last name, but on my ticket from the box it's says "Your pizza experience was managed by Justin". He was rude and non apologetic, so I am done with my business at this company. I normally love Papa Johns Pizza but last time I ordered a pizza from them when it arrived ( over an hour after I ordered it) the thin crust was undercooked, pizza was cold, and half of the toppings were scattered out in the box and not on the pizza so half of my pizza had nothing but sauce on it. I kind of chalked it up to a one time thing but then I ordered a pizza again tonight to give them another shot, I got the exact same thing. ABSOLUTELY the worst delivery pizza I have ever had, I feel like Little Caesars would do better then this!
