Mozzarella Sticks *- not as spectacular as I remembered but still good
    Kat S.

I had not been in to the place in a longggggggg time. Several years ago, my office was in the area and we would order in or, on the rare occasion, sneak out for a lunch meal. This evening, those former work friends and I decided to meet up for dinner. Our server was a star and it was great to catch up. We had a couple of orders of mozzarella sticks and they were not fabulous, just ok. I also had a wedge salad- side size- and it was great and giant. And, the table split a large pizza. An above average meal...

Fun casual pizza place with above average pizza. Love coming here for a quick, but tasty dinner. Service is always good- we love sitting at the bar.

We tried this Blue Moon location again on Wednesday night. They were really busy - I think there was a happy hour group hanging out on the patio. We had vouchers from an event we attended a while ago for a $12 value, so we decided to give it another try. Our waitress was really nice and attentive, even though she was busy. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a cider. We both ordered a personal pizza. My husband got chorizo on his, and I got the white pizza (which has ricotta, spinach, artichokes, and red onions). The pizza was alright, but not amazing. I appreciated the inexpensive meal because of the vouchers! Maybe I will try something other than pizza next time.

Service was outstanding! Food, same! We popped in for dinner yesterday and were blessed with a ray of sunshine. I love when I get a mature server with good conversation. The restaurant was clean for the most part. Anywho, we had the Cobb salad and Stromboli. Everything was sooo delicious. Not too salty and the lettuce was fresh. I ordered the grandma margarita drink and it was yummo too. We can't wait to come back.

Delicious as always. The service was great, the lady at the front was nice and helpful when picking up my over the phone order. Lots of space to sit in and dine.

I don't normally write bad reviews but I ordered a cheeseburger style pizza from here through Uber eats on January 8th, 2025. Toppings included were candied bacon, mozzarella, seasoned ground beef and mushrooms, within a few hours of eating the pizza I fell extremely ill. Come to find out I got some sort of food poisoning from something on that pizza. Today is day 5 and I'm still recovering. It could've been a lot worse. I'm extremely disappointed as I've ordered from them before and this has never happened. Not sure what happened in the kitchen that day but hopefully Blue Moon takes precaution so it doesn't happen to someone else.

Spinach calzone was delicious, though the tomato sauce has a little too much sugar. Loaded fries with bacon and cheese were very good. Patio is nice. Server was very pleasant. Solid meal all around!

Blue Moon Pizza has some pretty good portions. And it's nice that they have a Mon thru Fri lunch special where you can order a single slice of cheese pizza with a soda and/or side salad. My work place catered lunch from Blue Moon Pizza before, and the coworkers were meh about it. The slices were fairly large, and you could choose from an array from toppings. On this occasion in the area, the hubs and I decided to give it an in-store visit. Even on a quiet Sunday afternoon, there was a good medium crowd going on. Don't be deceived thinking it's a fast, causal spot. Blue Moon Pizza is definitely a sit down spot where they make your food fresh. I had the (cheese) stromboli with Italian sausage and mushrooms. It was oh so delicious and fairly large. The dough was just so soft and gooey. I am definitely a fan! The hubs had the buffalo chicken flatwich with seasoned fries. The flatwich is described to be their homemade pizza dough but in the form of a wrap. It was pretty flavorful and sizable. He said he liked it and was impressed with the portions. The fries were pretty tasty. I'm particular about fries since I don't like potato-y and soggy ones, but these were well seasoned and had good texture.

I'm trying to think of something I like about this place. I reckon I like the fact that the name made me sing the song. Outside of that I have nothing. If you are looking for some bland crust stuffed inside of a too little pizza box with no real visible signs of cheese and enough toppings for only one slice of pizza this might be your spot. To top it off we asked for the pizza to be cut into squares and what we got is every other shape. They cut it regular and then tried to fix it. The jerk pizza is sadness. I don't think I will even try the second pizza after eating a slice of the jerk.

Came here after a hike with friends and the food was great! We got the garlic knots to share and the Sicilian pizza. Everything tasted phenomenal! The garlic knots were crispy on the outside but so fluffy on the inside! They were so buttery and indulgent! Don't sleep on the marinara sauce either, it looked plain but it tasted so fresh and delicious! The pizza was also great! Since it was advertised as Sicilian, I did expect the crust to be much thicker than it was, but it was still delicious! The toppings were simple but extremely flavorful. My only complaint is that I feel like for the corner pieces, the sauce could've gone more to the crust. The corner pieces had more crust than anything else and although the crust was delicious, it does taste a little plain just by itself. I would definitely come here again and try one of their other unique pizzas!

Hadn't been here in a long time, and we decided to eat in. Parking was still easy to find at around 5:15 pm. We were greeted and and shown a table quickly. We didn't like the location of the first table we were shown by the host, and he was accommodating when I asked if we could be seated at a different one that had less foot traffic passing by. There were three guys in a group at the bar and only three other tables with customers at them when we came in. I noticed that, in order to ensure customers were social distanced, signs were placed on tables where customers should not be seated. There is an outdoor patio, but it wasn't being used today, and the rainy weather could've been a factor. All employees wore face masks, and all customers coming into the restaurant also wore face masks. Our server was efficient, and checked on us throughout the time we were there to ensure we had everything we needed/wanted. We ordered a couple of Blue Moon beers and a large The Italian pizza. The beers were served to us almost immediately, and we waited about 15 to 20 minutes for our pizza. The Italian has chicken sausage, sweet and tangy sauce, house cheese blend fontina, pine nuts and scallions. I thought the crust was much too thin and was overbooked, and they skimped on the amount of sauce, sausage and cheese put onto the top of the pizza. Because of these reasons, I felt the pizza lacked full flavor. The beer was good! There are 5 TV monitors, and all them were showing sports, so I'm sure this would be a nice place to hang out to have wings, pizza and beer during non-pandemic sports events.

Service great. Pizza tasted like it was a day old. I am ok with reheated pizza but this was so hard, I could not cut it. I didn't even finish. What a disappointment.

They have multiple "FREE" parking decks available for the area's establishments, so in comparison to downtown or Midtown, that's absolutely a plus!! Agave Bandido deserves some additional decimal points, to push them up closer to a "5", but since that's not an option, a "4-star" review it is...I'd absolutely make a return visit or 2!!

All we did taste was straight up hot sauce. The Shepherd's Pie was a favorite, but the latest entree was largely cauliflower and broccoli with no green beans and no pan sauce. I had an idea of what this place, but wasn't exactly sure what it all entailed. We walked in and were greeted by a large shelf or should I say shelves of a bunch of different board and card games. We walked to the register and told them we wanted to play some board/card games. I believe it was $7 per hour and then $35 for everything else. Everything else means all the video/electronic games. Think PS5, Switch, PC, Xbox. It was sooooo cool seeing everyone play all the different games. There were bigger groups, couples, people by themselves. It's truly a place where anyone can go and have a good time! We got some drinks (they have a really cool cocktail menu). They do have a food menu too, but we just came from dinner, so we only got drinks. Our service wasn't the best though. It took forever for someone to come and check on us, and no one came to fill our water the entire time we were there. Service could definitely be a lot better! Battle & Brew is in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. It's also pretty big too, so there is plenty of seating inside. I would definitely come back here in the future and play some of the video games, as I love to play some Nintendo Switch!

They told us that we would have to show up and just wait to be seated... fine. No big deal, again we are a large group coming in HOT on the weekend... I get it. We call ahead again, closer to the time we were planning to arrive to double check. THIS TIME they said they could reserve us a space and that it wouldn't be a problem. We get there and everything is seemingly fine. The vibes are good and the waiters are taking orders diligently. We understand that this is a huge group (16 of us) and that we would have to be patient with them as they are with us. So everyone puts in there orders. First wave comes out... I noticed that all the food is cold. Not ideal but the food was good so whatever. Second wave comes out, again the food is cold and peoples orders are missing. Fine. We are a big group, it happens. 3rd wave comes and they are seemingly trying to land the plane with us, finalizing anything that may have been missed while also getting refills. One of my friends that was a part of that first wave was still waiting his burger that he ordered (he had informed them twice at this point). 45 mins later the waiter checks on us again... My friend still doesn't have his burger. Cool AGAIN this is a big group... It happens. My side of the table who got all their food are ready to play some games now. We go to the front counter and there is seemingly a good cop/bad cop routine going on. One host says we can rent a station the other says we can't unless all 16 of go to that station. I told him not everyone wants to play games so what if we just cash out now then the 4 of us that do can just play/sit at the station. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT ITS AGAINST THE POLICIES" O....kay... whatever don't take my money, I then tell him I'd like to cash out anyway. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" I can't pay you now? "THE TAB CAN ONLY BE SPLIT 5 WAYS" Huh? So not only was this not brought to our attention beforehand but you want to be a jerk about it? There reason was because some people run out on the bill and things get missed. Meanwhile the entire table is sitting here with their cards out ready to pay you? Not to mention if something is missed thats on YOU as you are the person entering the stuff into the system. Mind you we still have folks that were missing food or order was taken only for it to be sitting under a heat lamp. After some back and forth we paid (which they REFUSED to give us an itemized receipt) only for a smug waiter to come out with the missing deserts with creepy smile to literally say to us "I hope you enjoy it..." Nope. Not eating that. Matter fact we will never eat here again. This has been a yearly tradition for some Dreamhack attendees and I can wholeheartedly say that I'll NEVER step foot in here again more will anyone I associate with. If I could give it a 0 I would.

They set up multiple bars for bigger events so you don't have to wait on line for long, and they typically already include tax and gratuity automatically. They've switched to valet parking only, or at least for the event I went to. It was $15 but they say you can park for free at the Walmart down the road.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.
