Restaurant Review Oh garlic butter sauce why are you so delicious. Recently with the competition between the different pizza chains domino and pizza hut; prices for consumers are at the best levels ever. Papa john continues to run deals on the website with codes such as PEPSI50 which gave me 50% off a regular price large pizza which meant that I only had to pay 8ish for a large "the works". Service is super fast as well as pizza can be done between 15 to 25 minutes. The dough is unique lighter than pizza hut, hand tossed at the restaurant and the toppings here are plentiful as well. Also if you order online you can earn pizza points, once you have 25 you get a free pizza. Also did I mention how awesome the garlic dipping sauce is.... I ordered a cinnapie dessert and a sausage/mushroom pizza at 5:30, picked it up an hour later. The pizza was barely warm, the crust was flaking apart, tough and dry & the ingredients did not taste fresh at all. As if that wasn't enough, the dessert was burnt and plain (it comes with icing drizzled on top). To make things worse, that wasn't hot either! Oh Papa John's...I really don't even know where to start! My husband had been craving Papa John's for, like, EVER. I would always pick one of his other presented options because I had a PJ overdose when I was younger--it was the only pizza place by us in our old house, and so we had it all the time. I have honestly avoided it since then. But my husband caught me at a weak moment, and I obliged. We got it for pickup at 5:45 on a Friday. I used their online couponing system and got three medium pizzas (up to three toppings each) and a apple cinnamon dessert pizza for an additional $3. Our total came to $27 and some change. Not too bad. So we ordered a plain cheese for the kids, a banana pepper pizza, and a bacon-sausage-pepperoni pizza (as well as the aforementioned dessert pizza). When my husband came home, all of the apples from the dessert pizza had slid over to the other side of the pizza, so there were they huge "naked" squares. See picture for details. The banana pepper and the cheese pizzas looked ok, but the meat pizza was actually sitting ON TOP of one of the garlic sauces they include with the pizza. Nice, guys, thanks. So the pizzas were just OK tasting at BEST. Plus, we only live two minutes from the restaurant on a heavy-traffic day, and the pizzas were really cold by the time they got to us. They needed to be reheated. I was not impressed at all, and I don't see myself returning anytime soon! read more

My friends and family came back from a wake and this was the only place open so naturally we ordered from there. Within the hour a couple of us became violently ill and I never complain but my friends and family said I should at least get my money back and tell them so it doesn't happen to others. I emailed because the place was closed and get a call back from a corporate guy calling me a liar telling me food poisoning doesn't happen that fast. He offered me a free order which I refused because at that point nobody was hungry but just dehydrated from being ill. He acted like I was making this big deal and trying to scheme Papa John's out of $23 bucks. Told me to call the location I ordered from to get my money back but before he hung up reiterated that people don't get sick that fast. I don't wish bad on others but hope some day he gets food poisoning and in the meantime takes classes not only on customer service but being a decent human being. I truly suggest you don't order from here because food poisoning is the worst and so is Papa John's employees. I get it's only one arrogant guy in a certain location but maybe you better train your employees better. I definitely won't hesitate to tell people my awful experience with Papa John's. Bad news spreads faster than good news and the $23 dollar refund would have given me a piece of mind that you actually cared. Bravo Papa John's! Way to be a stellar company. Lol. read more

My review is in two parts, so here we go. This was on Valentine's Day 2015 When I first called, I spoke with a man that put me on hold to see if they could deliver to the address I had wanted. I waited for quite a while before having to hang up. I called back and spoke to a woman who put my order in no problem and told me it would be there within the hour. I figured as such considering it was a holiday. I had forgotten to mention whom the pizza was for (was having it delivered to a friend at her work), so I called back to let them know. I was hung up on twice, put on hold twice and then told that, even though the order went through and was paid for, that they didn't deliver to the place I wanted it to go. So I said screw it and thought I'd take care of it tomorrow. So I was extremely unhappy with the services of papa john it's self. That was until the delivery driver had called me and said the pizza was on its way! He even called another time to make sure he had the correct place and waited until my friend was able to leave work and grab the pizza from him. He was such a gentleman and was super kind. I have been going to this location for a decade and watched it go downhill rapidly over the past few years. The orders are always at least 30 minutes behind the order tracker. My last order for carryout took about an hour to be ready. I received a coupon for a free pizza for that incident and decided to give them one last try. Tonight, my pizza arrived 40 minutes past the estimated delivery window, and it was cold and dry from sitting so long. First I tried placing an order on their website but after a half hour waiting for a confirmation email from them and not getting one, I called to ask if they got my order. I was told they did not but I could place my order on the phone with them. I ordered and was told it would take 30 to 40 minutes. After over on hour the driver called me saying he couldn't find my house. I asked him where we was at and he was on my street but couldn't locate my address. I looked out my front door while talking to the driver and after a few minutes I saw a car slowly driving by my house. I asked him again where he was and he had just passed by the cross street near me. I told him he just passed the House and he backed up. When he finally got to the front door, he showed me tbe address on the receipt and I saw that they left off a number from my address. So it's not the drivers fault that my pizza showed up late and cold. But I won't be ordering from Papa John's any time soon. read more

Guessing by how I was abruptly cut off, when asking if I can place a 2nd order online for 1 item I forgot & have the $3.99 delivery fee given to my driver for a tip, to be told that they "can't add to any order after it's placed online." Cool, thanks for cutting me off to answer a question I didn't ask?! I got the idea to just place a phone order... The staff here is always nice and friendly. I've never had any problems at this location, I even ordered pizzas here on the past busy super bowl Sunday and the food was on time and yummy. They always put a good amount of pepperoni on the pizza. The sauce is a little too sweet and it's not as cheesy as I prefer but the crust is good. Jan 7 '17 We arrived placed our ordered at 804pm. We ordered a small 10" pizza. We went down a few stores came back about 820pm. Finally someone asked after I got up and asked about my lil pizza. Worst Service Ever!!! Three times in a row, I ordered pizza. Each time, they told me that it would be ready in 15 minutes. Each time I walked in and asked how long it would be and they told me another 5 minutes. Each time, they put the pizza in the oven after I had been waiting for 15 minutes. The last time that I ordered and will ever order from them, I told them about this and asked them to confirm that it would really be ready in 15 minutes. Sure enough, when I got there 20 minutes later, the pizza was not in the oven! This place is a joke! Don't ever go there! This Papa John's I'm sort of iffy about. Although they have delivered great pizza at times, there has been more inconsistency than consistency. My order has been delivered wrong twice. The gentleman on the phone was really apologetic and genuine about returning my order back to me, but it was fairly small, so I was sort of confused how it could be messed up and not double checked. This happen on two occasions. I also called to ask if I could change my online order a few minutes after ordering it, (changing a small to a medium) and although I was informed that it wasn't possible, (which is fine), the girl who answered the phone seemed a condescending in her tone and rude. I also got my small pizza delivered in a medium box. I don't care what box it comes in, but I could definitely catch the passive aggressive joke in that, which is unprofessional. The atmosphere also isn't so great in the restaurant when looking at the communication between management and employees. Finally, the employees are not aware of the ingredients in their products. I asked if their pizza dough had any egg or dairy in it, and he informed me, "Yes, they do." I looked it up and it looks like their original crust does not. read more

The manager of this establishment should not be in the position she is. She is unbelievably rude, talks over people and then hangs up on them. She threatens to cancel your order when her own driver doesn't deliver to your house. I understand that it is Valentine's Day and they are busy but to take over 2 hours to get a pizza and then hang up on your customers who have been ordering from you for over 10 plus years.
