Came in two hours before closing. Didn't seem busy at all. Looked over the menu when you walk in and just waited up front to get started. Weird beginning because we got no hello or be right there with you. Girl in the back cleaning was just starring and the guy making mobile orders in front of us was just quiet. After 10 minutes or so we got helped and found out someone had called off so they were short staff. We ordered a build your own mod and mini dillon james. Both came out fresh and fast and ingredients and flavors were good. Could use some customer service help.

This is a fast pizza chain. You can choose a Mod classic or create you own pizza. There is a pizza assembly line that you go down where you select how your pizza is made from the crust up to the toppings. The thin crust pizza bakes for a few minutes then you can choose a sauce to top it all off. I believe there are a couple more pizza chains like this and this maybe the best way to custom make your pizza. My pizza was ready in minutes after ordering. I selected a pesto sauce to accompany the chicken and mushrooms. I took it home and began to critique. I didn't like it. The pizza just did not fulfill my pizza cravings of hunger or taste. The flavors and the sauce just didn't do it for me. The crust was not delicious and I was not left wanting more. The pizza wasn't terrible, but I can find better in the area so there is no need for me to return here.

MOD is good because it gets the job done. I like the idea of picking my own toppings and having options to choose from. My favorite part of this place is the option to top my pizza with a sauce! Social and friendly place!

Literally the best place to grab lunch during work. I love all the toppings I get to choose from, and it's so easy to create my perfect pizza. Favorite combos: arugula and balsamic fig glaze. Sometimes I add chicken, sometimes I'm not in the mood. Their pesto is a great addition as well if you don't like red sauce (which I don't). Their app is super easy to use and curbside pick up is a breeze!

Pizza, salads, etc that can be build your own or pre-set. Two stations where you can order your food. Plenty of options of toppings and sauces to can have. Fountain drinks and specialty lemonades. Good services especially during a lunch rush. Spacious for large party's to sit and eat together. Two single use bathrooms gender specific. Free parking.

Friendly staff and quick service, but I just felt the pizza was just ok. In Schaumburg there are so many better places to get pizza. But this place and other fast casual pizza places serve a purpose so I'm not discounting that! I've just had better pizza. However, you can customize it however you want and I of course got the spicy pie (pepperoni and jalapenos). Good, not great!

The pile of poopy paper towel

Poop on the floor and all around bad time. When I arrived no employees were anywhere to be found. I stood at the counter for at least 5 min without seeing anybody. Eventually several employees all came out of the back and made my pizza. The employee that made my pizza was friendly and helpful. A different employee was at the register. This employee tried to tell me that they don't sell a combo meal. The sign that says they sell a combo meal was literally hanging above his head. An employee that I assume was the manager had to come and help. I eventually was able to pay for my combo meal. I then went to fill my drink. There were no lids. The manager then sent an employee that was wearing a dish towel like a bandana wrapped around his face to fill the lid dispenser. It's also worth mentioning there were two dirty damp dish rags bunched up on the drink counter. They remained there for the duration of my visit. Now here's where things get pretty poopy. When I went into the bathroom to wash my hands, I quickly realized someone had clogged the urinal with liquid poop, and caused the soupy poop water to flood the bathroom floor. The poop water was seeping under the door and was pooling on the floor in the dining room. When I mentioned all the poop water on the floor, I was told by the manager that it's not poop water. Staff they just put an absurd amount of paper towels on the pooling poop water. And I guess called that good enough The pile of wet poopy towel just sat on the floor for the duration of my stay. This can be seen in my second photo The whole experience was bizarre and gross. I definitely would not recommend going here Now here's where it gets poopy

MEAL: Dinner ORDER TYPE: Dine-in MY ORDER EXPERIENCE: I heard so much about this pizza place from many friends, so I went ahead and tried it out. As soon as you enter, just to the right side of the entrance there is a line which takes you straight to the counter. As you are waiting in the line there would be a menu board for you to decide the pizza you want and then it takes straight to the counter. For me there were not a lot of people in the queue so mine finished faster. As it was my first time, I was unsure what to get. Then upon reviewing it I finally got Value(s) Meal where I got MOD-size (11") pizza and a 24 oz beverage. I chose this Value Meal because I liked the concept where 50c of my every meal goes to support Best Buddies. NOTE: MOD comes in three sizes Mini (6") MOD (11") Mega (11" thick crust) For my pizza I got Tristan Pesto and Veggie pizza. It comes with mozzarella, asiago, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, pesto drizzle and for beverages I got some diet drink. It took a while, but it was not too late either. I was curious to try it because the pizza is well baked in their special oven. I grabbed my order and tried to sit outdoors but there were limited seats, and it was full. So, I had to sit indoors. I waited enough so I really wanted to have that first bite. OMG the presentation was mouth-watering. When I took the first bite it had its own taste. The pizza was thin, soft, and well baked. It had just the right amount of everything, and the game changer of this pizza was the pesto drizzle. It just took to the next level. I finished the whole thing just in no time. By the time I realized it was gone haha. The spell from Harry Potter "Evanesco (vanish)." Overall, the pizza was good but got little pricey because of the Value Meal, the restaurant was huge and bright. They had a variety of seating options (Highland chairs, booths, outdoor seating). The customer service was good where the waiter at the counter suggested I sign-up into the mobile app for rewards. The location is so busy that sometimes it's difficult to find a parking spot closer to the restaurant. The place is close by and will go back again to try more varieties. PROS: The prices are reasonable, and the pizza size is filling Good deals where you can get your pizza order below $10 CONS: Limited outdoor seating

Mod Pizza usually my lunch go to with co workers Never have been to the Schaumburg location but did not change my opinion on Mod Ordered my Mad Dog with Corn With the fig topping to finish it off Mod Pizza workers at every location have a good eye for spotting talent. Every worker has great energy and is ready to work.

Chicken BBQ Pizza (Caspian) with added toppings

I'm a huge fan of places that lets me custom pizza and cook in about 5-10 minutes. You get to have fun picking your own toppings and usually the toppings are unlimited such as at MOD (if it wasn't unlimited then it would not be worth it). You can build your pizza from scratch or you can pick a pre-built pizza. I usually do a combination of both where I would pick a pre-selected pizza and add on extra toppings that I like (usually pineapples and ham, added notions and veggies) I basically create another version of my favorite theme which is BBQ chicken pizza. Service is friendly, you get your own food, drinks and box your own leftovers. Hubby and I can usually get away with spending about $20 for 2 individual sized pizzas and a drink. I've been here about twice and prior to that, we use to love going to Pie 5 which is another version of this. Great place to dine in fast food with the personal customization that leaves you feeling special and proud of your own food creation.

    Almost two inches here.

The ambiance was nice because it's current music (Post Malone etc) I really like the layout, not the traditional square kitchen area but off at an angle, which makes me relax because I get anxiety easily from strict structures or overcrowded merchandizing and tables. I also really like the choice and seating, and the vibes. Chicken 4 stars. I'd give it a 5 if it were 20 seconds more in the fryer. I like it really crispy. Fried 4 stars. Good crinkle cut. I'd like to see more options for sauce. Was looking for a tasty bbq sauce. Something. If you do have it, it wasn't offered. Texas toast. Now I can't speak to ambiance- all I've got to go on is the service when ordering and getting the food- now that that's clear let's start! We ordered the Caniac Combo and asked if they had lemonade as we didn't see it on the menu board- why,yes indeed, they did! They repeated the order and asked if that was all- a quick moment later I said - let's add a side of Texas Toast, fries, and a coleslaw. For some reason when we got to the window they thought we'd canceled the Caniac Combo and wanted the sides! No No no. Why go to a chicken place if we didn't want the chicken? So add back the Caniac Combo please! Then they asked if we still wanted the three sides still? Ummmm ....yes? We ordered the sides so we could split the tenders in the Caniac and both of us would get sides. Seemed kinda clear to me? Needless to say they almost forgot to give us the lemonade at the window- and had to be reminded. I think they weren't paying much attention. Sad. We got home, split up the food, and began eating. The chicken was just ok and needed to be reheated - the fries were cold (!) and had to be popped into the microwave too - really! Taters usually stay hot a long time. Not these. Hoo boy. Once reheated they were ok. The coleslaw doesn't hold a candle to KFCs but it was serviceable. So that explains why it had been years since our last visit. Hmm. Another five years from now we'll try again. But hopefully they focus on the food being hot and fresh and improve the customer experience- else they'll deserve to decline and die off.

The gals at the counter shared they try to switch it up. I loved the size of the tender meals offered and generous portion that stretched to two meals for me. Interesting, the cole slaw was the highlight of my meal, with the fresh flavor and complimented the tenders and crinkle fries well. The interior of this location is decorated pretty cool with old movies posters hanging from the rafters. Hungry 4 of us (3 non-locals) ordered a good sampling for our first visit & meal of the day: Salads, hot dogs, hoagie combos, drinks. Either the cashier or food preppers goofed our order a bit, but it wasn't a terrible inconvenience. One newby in our party aptly remarked that the meal combos aren't really combos per se, because you then have to specify the size of the individual combo items (such as the fries) after ordering the large (or small) combo for example. Salads also come out from a different sub-section of the restaurant. Little non-standard and confusing there for 1st-timers. The beef dip was good as advertised, pretty standard fare, but nothing about the meal or quality of such considered life changing. French fries were very unremarkable. Easy ordering kiosks or you can order at the counter like we did. With so many dog-gone dining options around these parts, not sure it would be a regular pit stop for myself if I were a local. Fair pricing board, good deal, average-y. Peace out.
