We were ordering pizza for our game night and due to the time of night, one of our friends called the store and asked about if they were still doing delivery. It was around 10:50 pm so we figured to call and ask due to it being Mother's Day. The lady on the phone was rude, but answering our questions. When it came to the delivery address, the address wasn't popping up properly and the person on the phone was getting annoyed. We kept apologizing about the issue and didn't know how to help. We then said we would just place the order online to make it easier and the lady just hung up on us rudely. We then placed the order on the Papa John's website, we had to type in the address twice- making sure that we got it correct. Since we were doing cash it has us create a profile. Somehow between that and placing the order- the system goofed up and put in the wrong address. Probably because in the past they have sent food to work, but it didn't notify us of any changes to the delivery. We didn't realize the issue until the driver called our friend and they said that the business was closed that the address showed him to deliver and asked what happened. The driver was sweet and understanding- even driving to the correct location that was only 7 -10 minute drive. Then we got a call from the store. It was the same lady that we spoke with earlier and she was not thrilled. We explained what happened and apologizing for the issue as we thought we had the address correct, but must have changed when we created the profile. The lady then started yelling at our friend. Making her cry and her apologizing more- for the situation as it was just a glitch in the system. The lady stated that it sent the driver to someplace in Howards Grove, but it was actually closer towards the Kohler and Sheboygan Falls in the strip mall by the highway. Then she said and I quote "I hope you realize that inconvenience that you caused to my driver and to my store" before hanging up on the call. The driver then called 1 minute later saying that he was here and we tipped him for being nice and understanding. The order itself was only $35, but gave him $60 for the inconvenience. He mentioned that today was a rough day for the store before he left. Still- that doesn't excuse that way on how that lady spoke to my friend over the phone for one simple computer issue with the addresses. The food was still good, but ruined our game night. This has been an awful experience for us. The driver deserves a raise despite the issue and kept being nice and professional. read more

I tried calling my local Papa John's at 10:32 PM this evening and the phone was not answered. I tried calling 4 more times between the initial call and 10:42 PM as I drove to the store. As I pulled up, I watched through the window as the employees ignore the phone. Eventually, at 10:54pm one employee came out and stated rudely that they would make my pizza. I went inside and placed my order of a one topping pepperoni pizza with two sides of garlic butter. I was frustrated, so I didn't immediately realize that he charged me more than he should've. I wanted to order the $9.99 carry out special plus one extra garlic butter. I understand there's additional fees for the additional garlic butter but my total should've been around $15 or less. I was charged $21.16. I told the employee that he didn't have to lie to me and if he just wanted to get out of work early, he could've just said so. I work in service industry. I do understand wanting to get out when you're not busy. In this case though, I could see that they didn't have their prep station cleaned up yet and they were nowhere near getting out. The woman continued to sit on the counter top as the other male employee switched the music to extremely explicit gangster, rap with the N-word in it. I understand this type of music is popular, however, it seemed as though he decided to do it because of being upset that I was there, ordering my one damn pizza. I found a particularly vulgar as I am of African-American descent, and I choose not to listen to that type of music. When I initially walked in there was inoffensive electronic house instrumental music playing. The male employee that allowed to be in the store to order my pizza, began to make it while the other male employee was sweeping. The female hopped down off the counter and got her ass smacked by the sweeping man. It seems they may have been in a relationship, but this too was an inappropriate thing to do in front of customers. While my pizza was in the oven I was spoke to the me employee that made it. I told him that I worked service industry and then if he didn't want to serve me, he could've just said so instead of lying and not answering the phone. Both employees began to tell me that the system was messed up and that the phones didn't work. I stood at the counter and proceeded to call the phone on speaker phone and let it ring in front of them. I stated that being lied to is frustrating. The employee then proceeded to tell me that his pet peeve is when people come in at the very last minute. I then stated that I begin calling the restaurant at 10:32 PM and the phone was not answered. My pizza was cooked and served to me at 11:04 PM. I walked out the door. Had these employees just answered the phone in the first place my pizza would've been done well before 11pm. Even if they had just allowed me to place my order when I walked in initially-my pizza would've been done before 11pm. After receipt of my pizza, I sat outside for a few minutes. The employees proceeded to stand around, not cleaning or doing anything for five more minutes before I left to eat my pizza overlooking the nearby woods/quarry. When I drove past the store again at 11:20pm, it seemed as though they were just starting to clean up the prep area. I've never been spoken to, or treated so poorly in a service setting. The behavior of the employees working tonight was deplorable and unprofessional. I am not a person that complains, but I felt this necessary as I do believe the behavior of the employees could tank the Papa John's in Sheboygan. read more

Well the delivery driver called up after waiting for 30 mins to tell me he can't deliver. The location I'm at is the truckstop up the street about 3 miles. Supposedly it's company policy not to deliver to a truck? Petty excuse was a truck driver beat his ass! Well here's my thing I paid with a credit card and you have my name! I think as professional drivers we have better things to do than beat up a delivery driver! So any drivers reading this don't order a pizza they won't deliver it! Probably the best place you can eat at. Ever since Papa John did some no no stuff, I thought, "oh god, this place is goin in the dump"... but it actually still is a very very nice place. Love the underground rap that sounds throughout the store, which is a super nice touch and very family friendly. I almost feel at home when I'm in there. The workers are super hard working and are stellar at flickin the pizza dough in the air. Very impressive. Would eat here again... like I do almost every night. read more

usually papa johns is fire but my pizza took about an hour and 45 minutes to come and it came colder than room temperature so i called for another pizza because it was 30 dollars and when i got my new one it was very floppy and seemed undercooked. only giving it 2 stars instead of 1 bc they did send another one and it's usually good but this one was not it. read more

Papa John's pizza is usually rockin', especially their garlic sauce. And this specific place is yummy, IF you dont mind waiting forever for your pizza. The 1st night at our new house we ordered delivery and it took about an hour. So we thought the next time we'll just go pick it up. Makes sense, right? I call, order and they say about 20 mins. So i get there 2 mins early. It took 3 mins for someone to even acknowledge me, let alone let me pay for my pizza. Then they said, about 5 more mins.. 25 MINUTES later they finally call my name. I would have complained, but after working in food service before, i didn't want them to remember my face or name and mess with my food. Alright... I'm massivley impressed with this franchise. I just ordered a pizza, and they called me because hey had a pre existing order that would cause mine to be late. No problem this happened so I told them 20 minutes later is fine. The driver shows up and he's a rock star, customer service off the charts apologized for the inconvenience gave me a 40 percent off coupon. They guy knew how to deal with people. After a long day my kids and I, me still in my work scrubs, stopped in to order a quick pizza. The women at the counter was very friendly. The manager even nicer! He gave us our pizza OTH! When picking up the pizza I asked the women why? She said he could tell your a hard worker and he has a big heart. I never did catch their names, but thank you again! Cheese is awsome. 100% provolone. Yumm. Veggies are ridiculously fresh, found out that there sliced fresh every morning by hand. Having two types of sausage is key. One regular and the other with a spicy kick. Hot sauce and honey chipotle sauce dont taste like they held back on the spice to please the more mild pallet. We ordered online and my order apparently didn't go through but the amount was taken out of my bank account. I called in because I didn't get my email confirmation but I did have my order number from the website. the lady who picked up said it didn't go through but the amount was taken out of my bank so it must have gone through. I had my girlfriends parents pick up the pizza but the cashier said there wasn't any orders for us when we just called for that order to be set in... so I drove there myself and even then the lady said there wasn't any orders but when I said I called in, she starts talking to me. What kind of service is that? So rude of the employees. Anyway, after all said and done, they still didn't give us our tomatoes and chicken for the spinach and artichoke pizza that came with tomatoes and chicken also. First, lets lead with the positive. The people working here are very friendly and you don't feel like your taking up there time when you pick up a pizza. The garlic sauce to dip the pizza in is unbelievable, I wish you could buy this in a market. Now the bad - This pizza is not good, it just doesn't have any discernible flavors, everything is kind of melted into blah pizza. The cheese is the least stringy I've ever encountered.
