My girl and I were visiting some of her friends and family in town, and we all decided to order Papa Johns at the house since it was a buy 1 and get 1 free special. You cannot beat that these days for $17.00 as for food prices going up. So were purchased several boxes to feed 15 people lol. Love the Pepperoni easy pizza we ordered. I picked it up, I ordered extra saucy & well done. There was BARELY ANY Candian bacon, I mean SO FREAKING FEW PIECES AND they were skinny little slivers, smaller & skinnier than a paper clip. Don't fall for their false advertisement of "New York Style pizza" we purchased 3 pizza's for our event. Had to place over $45 to get FREE DELIVERY, a 15% tip was automatically, added on. Received the pizza, and it's nothing like a New York Style pizza, other than the falsely advertised name. The pizza tasted sweet, like a sweet bread dough, I called in and complained to the manager Aliza (Liza) and she too agreed, that's it's just an advertising gimmick it's the same crust as their regular pizza. She refused to pick up, the in eaten pizza and refund my card.....insisted for us to bring it back, when we paid extra for delivery. She ended up hanging up the phone. first time trying Papa John's, ordered a Shaqaroni and "bbq" boneless wings. the wings were basically the regular wings with a drizzle of bbq sauce on them, no resemblance to images on the website, they were dry and bad nasty. now on to the "shaqaroni", Shaq would be pissed, the sauce is literally a can of tomato, no flavor effort made, the dough is too breast, the base was undercooked, overall not worth it. I ordered one pizza with pepperoni all over with half jalapeños, extra ranch, and boneless wings. What I received is a pizza with half jalapeño half pepperoni not full pepperoni. And no wings. And no extra ranch. Kind of feels like you guys just threw out whatever food you felt like and didn't even bother to read the receipt at all. Or check when you handed it off. And then I called to ask about it and you blamed the door dash driver. It's like one thing to forget the sauce. But to forget three things on a small order is crazy work. I have ordered from this location several times for various events, parties and personally. Last year I hosted a fundraiser and spent well over $230 on pizza from them. This year, my budget was cut a little. I called to talk to them about what they might offer for a regular customer. I understand there are no freebies in life- even representing a nonprofit. I would have been fine if I got an understanding apology and explanation of what alternatives they offer. However, the manager Liza was pretty rude. Her attitude was incredibly sour and her ton was condescending to me when I was incredibly polite. She basically said no we dont do that and hung up. I guess I'm glad that happened. As far as mainstream pizza chains go, this particular store is one of the busiest... and one of the best. The employees work hard to ensure your order is made correctly and handed to you fresh and the delivery drivers are always polite... and often quite fast too, esp on a Friday night when I know they're slammed.
