I thought I would give them another try. Since the last time I got the New York style Pizza, which was horrible. Bad crust, bad sauce, bad texture. Already left a review for that. Haven't heard back. It don't seem to really want to take care of their customers. Very disappointing. The last Pizza I got was curled, pepperoni, large extra pepperoni. It was so greasy, we had to throw it out. The crust was not even tolerable, and there was way too much sauce. Bad experience. Hope they can improve in the future. But I won't be going back anytime soon. I'd like to hear from them read more

I've heard a lot of rave reviews about Marco's Pizza, but there aren't many locations around so I had to wait until I went to Sherman Oaks to try it. The online ordering was easy and my deluxe pizza was ready very promptly and waiting for me when I arrived. Service was friendly. The pizza was very good and a good alternative to the usual chains and other local pizza restaurants that I usually frequent. First of all, this negative review is for the website, NOT the food itself. I carefully selected the Marco's in Sherman Oaks -- when there are several places all on the same street, Ventura Boulevard, you have to make sure you get the right one. The website screwed up bigtime and sent our order to the Marco's in TARZANA, and now my wife and stepson are complaining bigtime! I am not reviewing the pizza, because I do not yet have the slightest idea how it tastes. I suppose that when we finally get it, it will be lukewarm and rubbery at best. We wanted to try a new pizza spot last Friday and decided on Marco's, being that they are right down the block. We placed the order early in the afternoon and it was ready right when we arrived. We shared the Deluxe, which was really tasty. I had 2.5 slices but could have easily eaten the Large to myself it was that good. I don't think we had the garlic crust, it seemed like regular crust to me - if we order from here again, I definitely want the garlic crust. I added chili flakes because I love a little kick. Pizza Friday is a family tradition that I really wouldn't trade for anything in the world, after a long week it's nice to not cook on most Fridays and Marco's was fast and convenient, totally meeting our dinner needs. The pizza was not greasy, everything tasted fresh and I didn't feel sluggish after a couple of slices. As far as the pizza goes it's good, not like real NY Pizza, (a transplanted NYer here)but superior to any other chain pizza joints available in the valley. I like that you can order 2 types of pepperoni, the traditional thin flat or you can get the smaller thicker pieces like pepperoni back in the day. Service has always been quick and polite. Delivery has also been fast, you do need to ask for crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese packets, they don't normally include them. This is not a place for dining in, basically just a cashier/order taker behind a counter. I will continue to get my basic pizza to go from here as it's a 5minute drive from my house. I have seen and heard numerous people recommend this place. It was a bit out of our way but we knew we wanted to try it. The kids working there on Wednesday night were friendly and attentive. It was our first time here and they suggested a few things. We ordered an XL pizza chicken, ham and pineapple (we could've done a M or L it was a lot of pizza for two people). We ordered some wings (spicy Buffalo). We were told 15 min for our order to be ready. We waited outside to walk around. Anytime someone would pass by after picking up their order from here the scent trail they would leave behind was a great indicator of how mouthwatering our pizza would be. Once our order was ready they brought it out to us outside (was highly impressed by this). Now to the pizza and wings. I was not disappointed one bit, the taste and flavor combination was perfection. Okay, okay, so a few years later and it's ten at night and I'm hungry and on DoorDash and Marco's comes up. I've been in that strip mall thousands of times, usually at K's Donuts. So, I bent my rule and tried the pizza without trying a slice first. I had the pepperoni magnifico, the small size for 13.99, which, as it turns out, is a great price. Before I tell you about it, have you ever bent your rule? I don't like the look of a bent rule, do you? It's most unseemly. I no longer know what the hell I'm talking about, so back to the pizza. I don't know if they have a non-magnifico pepperoni pizza or not, I'll have to check. The pizza arrived in about fifteen minutes and was still piping hot (Marco's is literally five minutes from my house). It came in a very small box, but I must tell you that the small is not that small and filled me up but good. Now, they sprinkle something all over the pizza, so I thought I'd hate it. But - surprise - this is a fantastic pizza - old fashioned, great Eyetalian pizza, with none of that frou-frou arty crap that isn't pizza at all. The sauce, which is key, was/is fantastic, the pepperoni was perfect and whatever the sprinkly seasoning stuff was was amazing. So, now I'll probably eat there every day for the next week. This small magnifico is magnifico and the price is right and it's filling and I just loved it, which is why you're getting this epic review. Marco, if you're reading this, I'm a happy Jew. And I am VERY picky about my pizza. Now, I have to go try and straighten the damn bent rule. read more

I treat myself to Pizza every other month. So when I get it I have to make it count. I drove 21 miles to my nearest Marco's bypassing probably at least 50 other pizza places because Marco's NEVER disappoints!!! Today I stepped outside the box and ordered a new pizza on the menu. I did curbside pickup and drove right up front and waited in my car. The MASKED person (worth 5 stars by itself) who brought my pizza out was Shawn and he was very nice and friendly and made sure everything was to order and even asked if I needed anything else and made some suggestions in case I was forgetting anything. I didn't feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing him at all. Now the food. I got home after stopping at the gas station and my pizza was STILL HOT! I opened it up and it looked like a pizza from a tv commercial. The toppings were plentiful and fresh. The color of the green peppers and onions were vibrant and they were crisp where you could still taste each individual flavor. It was soooo good I had to eat before I posted this review that's why there's only a fraction of a pizza in the pic. This was a very good experience and a great way to end a long week.
