I just moved into an apartment complex with private entrances. I placed an order, waited a little over an hour, and when the delivery driver finally arrived, the very first thing out of his mouth was, "It was very hard to get here." No "Hi." No "How are you?" No "Here's your order." Just a complaint. I gave my full name, phone number, and email when I placed the order. If you couldn't find me, why not use the phone and call? That's literally what it's there for. On top of that, the pizza showed up cold. Between the attitude, the lack of communication, and the cold food, I won't be ordering from here again. Everything mentioned before my review, is TRUE. I asked for the pizza to be square cut. Ok, it came out pie cut. But it's not even "cut", at that. I had to tug at a piece from someone else's piece to separate them. There wasn't even enough sauce on the pizza to cover the pizza. How do you get a so-called large pizza, where the outer crust is literally 2 inches from the pizza sauce ? Stingy with the toppings too. Ordered a few pizzas on the app for delivery at 6:30. App says the pizzas were done at 7:30. 8:30 rolls around and the pizzas still haven't left. I call ask what's going on. Mike the manager tells me "What do you want me to do? You should have ordered for pickup" like I'm supposed to know when I ordered on the app. Then he hangs up on me. I get a message that the delivery will be done by Uber eats and will be delivered at 9:30. I call Mike back at 8:45 and ask if I'm going to be discontinued since the pizza would have been sitting around for 2 hrs Mike tells me "well I just canceled your order." At this point I get a call from the uber driver saying he's been waiting 20 minutes to pick up my food. I had to tell the guy that the manager canceled my order. Today I put in an order to have pizza delivered at 630pm. The order was placed very well in advance and was to celebrate the end of the school year with my kids. At 650 the order wasn't here, I called and the automated system told me it was out for delivery and would be here by 651. 705 still not here.. called and was told it was out for delivery and would be here within 6 minutes. 720 still not here... I called again and was told they couldn't get ahold of their driver. At this point I asked for a refund. they didn't even try to get me my pizza- why wouldn't they have sent it with another driver or continued to follow up with the driver they supposedly couldn't get ahold of? From the continuous specials and reward points, I've eaten for so cheap and sometimes free. I know everyone has a different perception on the perfect pizza but Papa John's always hits the spot for me. I like soft fluffy crust and veggies that are still crunchy and flavorful and fresh (I don't like when pizzerias overcook the veggies to limp noodles). Some pizzerias serve really oily pizza that gives me acne just touching it with a fork but I've never had an oily problem with Papa John's! I may be ordering at slow times, but all 6 or 7 times the delivery person beat the estimated wait time. Wow! And they're always so nice. It all got even cooler because instead of watching the tracker on my phone, I punch in my phone number and I'll get a text alert when my pizza is coming. The building a pizza/order tool online is also really efficient and simple. I like how fast and easy it is to order from Papa John's. Happy to see also that they've committed to sourcing their chicken from better welfare farms! Two requests- get dairy free cheese please! We ordered pizza for delivery for the first time from this location. We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, it was good. The crust perfectly cooked and the toppings adequate. (I say adequate because you can never have enough pizza toppings, especially the cheese!) We also ordered garlic knots and dessert. The food was good. Delivery time was reasonable. The website was having technical issues, so we had to place the order over the phone. The "order taker" would not give us the "SUPERBOWL50" deal over the phone, but offered a discount. When the food arrived we noticed the pricing was not what we were told and we were missing the additional dipping sauces we ordered. I called the manager to let him know the issue. I am super impressed by how well the manager handled the situation, he apologized, explained the proper protocol, stated how he would handle the situation internally and train the employees AND comped our meal. The pepperoni was definitely the double order I paid for, and it was on top of the cheese, deliciously crispy. Today's order: meh. The cheese was over the pepperoni this time and even though I paid for double, it isn't nearly as generous as the last one was. This time it was delivery. Bad idea. The pizza was warm but the cheese was absolutely set, nothing stuck when I pulled it apart. I have been using the on-line feature for a while now and I have yet to be disappointed. The pizza always arrives very quickly when I order it to show up when it can, or it arrives on time when I select a time to have the pizza delivered. I'm never disappointed with the quality, either. I once made an order with double mushrooms and it did not disappoint. There was definitely more mushrooms on it than normal. Their toppings are never skimpy, either. I know it's easy to give negative feedback, passion can fuel the fire, but it's nice to hear good things every now and then. read more

This is in regards to last night's horrible service. I use the online ordering system because I get Papa John's emails every day, and the specials are for ONLINE ONLY. I also get Papa Rewards which means every 25 points gets me a free pizza right? WRONG! This is misleading, because that "free pizza" can never be used with any other offer which is pretty much all the time. Why have this, when I can never use it? So last night I decided to place two separate orders so that I could at least use my "free pizza" before it expired. I placed the order around 4pm. Did a future order for 7:30pm. Not only were both pizzas extremely late (which I fail to understand why a future order needs to be late ever...), but I got two pizzas by two different drivers...both of them VERY late, and one of the younger drivers gave me a lot of attitude when I refused the order. So to re-cap. Two orders, two drivers, both late...bad attitude. The older driver was very polite...I wish he was running the place. He called his GM and offered to give us the pizza for free. Now why does the driver have to do the GM's work? The GM should have called me, but he never did. We refused. We are not trying to get deals or free food, we just want a no hassle service. I would pay $100 if we could just avoid the hassles. What he told us was that this GM is not "tech savy" and has problems with the online ordering service. Really? Wow! Too bad all the good deals are for ONLINE ONLY! This is the third issue I have had in the span of about 4 months, and frankly I am through. Every time, the issue is with the online ordering feature. I mean, if you can't get this right, why advertise it?! I am emailing this NOT TO GET ANY MORE COUPONS OR FREE FOOD. I just want you to know that you lost an entire family that used to spend about $20-$30 a week because this location cannot seem to get it together. PLEASE DO NOT CALL ME, DO NOT CONTACT ME, I AM DONE! AND I will be posting several articles on social media about this because this place ruined my dinner, THEY EARNED THAT. Have been going to this location for years and never had a problem until the other night. Their costumer service seems to have taken a big hit lately. Had online order to be ready at 5:45. I arrived at 5:45 and paid for the pizza then the girl at the counter looked at all the pizzas to see if it was done. She told me it would be another 5-10 minutes, which is horrible for being an online order. 10 minutes pass and she checks again and grabs a box that has been sitting there the whole time. 10 minutes of my time wasted because she can't read a label?
