Pizza Ranch. Think Pizza Hut meets Old Country Buffet. The buffet is small but features hot foods like fried chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, biscuits, etc. Most of it is hot and good. The pizza portion features maybe 6-7 different pizza types, all thin crust, plus some pizza-like bread sticks. There is a small salad bar too, with salad of course and cold items like potato salad and cottage cheese. Pickled beets too. There are self-serve fountain drinks to wash it all down. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger pizza to go. I used to love the bacon cheeseburger pizza that Casey's gas stations sold, but they got rid of. I was hoping this particular pizza was going to be similar and it was not. I thought it was decent. I would give this place another try, but I would definitely try a different kind of pizza. Could not say enough great things about our recent visit. Came with a big group of adults and kids. They gave us the party room which is connected to the arcade. A staff member gave my littles complimentary $10 game cards. They were able to play plenty more with a $20 reload each. The food is tasty. Had different types of pizza, fried chicken, bread sticks, and salad. Then had pizza cookie, several slices of the pastry pizza and a dollop of soft serve. The staff was accommodating from beginning to end. Made sure we knew that if there was a type of pizza we didn't see on the buffet, they would special make it. This pizza ranch I and my children had been looking forward too since we had frequented the location in the Wisconsin dells back 8 years ago when they were in their teens.food was overpriced and the quality was subpar in addition .between the 4 of us we try to stomach a plate of food apiece to off set how much we paid per person.and we felt ill just trying to eat the food we did get.bathrooms have no toilet paper and the other stalls the doors wouldn't open.i guess there is a certain way you have to lift the door with your back to it (because I guess the doors in the stall are prone to open up. Just your typical pepperoni, cheese, breadsticks. Crust is thin and cheap. Kinda like gas station pizza. They tell you that you can request a special pizza but it's not even ready by the time you're done eating. The salad bar is small. Seems like the pizza all the way down to the salad bar- everything has been sitting out for awhile and not kept up fresh. Mashed potatoes and fried chicken were really good. Pizza was so good. Can order any kind of pizza and they give you a buzzer so you know when it is ready. The chicken and awesome soft serve ice cream is worth the trip alone! What I don't understand is the parking. You have a parking lot sloped down from the building but there's no sidewalk to get up there. You have to walk up the slope! Showed up at 5:30 to find a line to the door and 3 half-pizzas available (veggie, bacon ranch, and sausage). At the Peoria location, you can order pizzas for your table. My wife, thinking we could do the same, ordered a pepperoni. They gave her a buzzer. But when it went off, it wasn't for the pizza but to let her know she could join the scrum of 5-7 year olds at the bar and try to get some up there. This place was pretty good. I saw a review saying there was country music but it was complete silence when we went so it was a little weird to me. I absolutely loved the fried chicken, the mashed potatoes and the baked beans. The pizzas were ok. I liked the dessert pizza more. The only thing I thought was awkward was that when I was grabbing my food the employees were standing there staring at me so I felt self conscious putting stuff on my plate lol but other than that, great.
