Delivery time was supposed to be 45 minutes. After an hour and a half I called and was told they were waiting on the door dash driver. I asked if we could cancel the deliver fee and tip and I would come pick up the pizza and was told "NO", that I would just have to wait. This was for last night, May 24. We don't often order pizza, but when we do it's from this place. We never get it delivered, so this was a first. So we got our what's already not so great pizza 20-30 minutes late, barely warm, and delivered by someone who didn't even wait for me to get to the door. They just put the food on the floor and I stepped out as they were getting into their car blaring music on our quiet street. This is a small example of what's wrong with society today. We chose to tip first when being prompted out of convenience and good faith. Never, ever again. You need to earn your tips. Consequently this establishment and that driver will never see another dollar out of me. You see, this experience was all about the driver, not the customer. His blaring music and inability to wait even a minute, like ding dong ditch with pizza on the ground. I delivered pizza's when I was younger. What a fun job. People were always happy to see me and I was always curious who I might encounter, whether someone I knew or just interesting. It should be a good experience. When people order pizza, mostly, they are excited to get it and are likely doing something fun, or relaxing. So my boys wanted pizza and I'm not a huge fan but wanted them to be happy. I ordered 3 pizzas for pick up and my go to is pineapple (YES it belongs on MY pizza) Canadian bacon and jalapeño. When my son got home I had pepperoni instead of jalapeño. 1 I don't really like pizza, 2 my pizza was wrong. I called the store and the woman that answered the phone, Angela, not only made me a new pizza, she had it delivered and included dessert (boys were stoked about that). The pizza is great. This one star is for the lack of hygiene from the employees. On any given night, you will see 3 or more people making pizza with a ton of hair. No hats, hairnets, ponytails, nothing. And of course, we had 2 strands in our last order. I'm so confused on how they are getting away with this. read more

Workers are super lazy don't want to work, literally canceled our order while we were sitting outside for 15 mins waiting for them to start the pizza and claimed that they "tried to call us"even though we know that the guy at the front canceled our order. He couldn't even look my boyfriend in the eye when he said that he was here for his pick up order. I can now see why they have all the terrible reviews. This place is prime example that not all locations are equal. We moved to the area from another part of North Texas recently and have given this location our business a few time. Not any more. This may be the worst Papa John's location in North Texas. It's unlikely it will ever get better since the staff there doesn't really seem to mind that they are consistently putting out a subpar effort and product. We never got a pizza that was made properly, either the order has been wrong or the pizza hasn't been cooked all the way and the dough was still very much uncooked. Their loss as there are plenty of other pizza places in the area that care about what they're serving to their guests. read more

Awful!!!!!! Called an hour after I placed my order to be told it's going to be another 30-40 minutes. Mgr couldn't care less that I was frustrated for having to wait so long. Said there was no discount he could apply to compensate. Told him my husband would just come pick it up. My husband gets there and the delivery guy took it. I called back and talked to the mgr again and asked why he sent it out when he knew my husband was coming. He casually said "I was on the phone and I don't see when the orders get picked up". Never received my order from them. Gave them a call to see why my order got canceled. They said the address was on the middle of the street. While I was on the call you could hear the driver upset and complaining. I should be the one upset because I was on my lunch break and they didn't even try to help me get my order. This is a great Papa John's. I used to order from Pizza Hut until I realized that Papa John's has so many coupons that make my wallet gleam with joy! They also are so much faster and the pizza does not taste like it was made yesterday unlike my old choice. The customer service at this location is second to none. One time when I forgot to add one of the many amazing coupons to my delicious order, I called the restaurant to try to see if they could add it on to my order. Sure enough, the very friendly guy on the phone added it with no hassle. You are not going to find a faster and friendlier pizza experience! Also, this pizza chain prides itself on Better Ingredients, Better Pizza and I can definitely say that the quality, as well as quantity, of the ingredients and therefore the overall pizza is superb! Ordered from these guys last night for delivery. I got two medium two topping pizzas and the Wisconsin cheese stuffed bread. The taste of everything was okay. But it was seriously lacking in toppings. If one of the toppings is mushrooms, I'd expect more than half a mushroom on each slice, just saying. In order for this place to do better, they definitely need to work on putting more toppings on their pizzas. I honestly probably won't order from them again. Wish I could put no stars...Just placed an order online and by my mistake choose carryout instead of delivery. I called the store to see if they could change it to delivery instead. She said that was fine and proceeded to tell me the new charge which was way more than the total of the pizza. I asked why and she said that it was because it added it to the complete orders total. I had added a 40% off coupon from online that was able to use for carryout/delivery. When that was all figured I wanted to pay for the delivery fee with a different card since the one I paid with was a gift card that didn't have but enough for the pizza. She was trying to figure it out and put me on "hold" (let me put the phone on the counter where you can still hear me talking). I had asked if they already started making the pizza and if they hadn't have then i could just come pick it up when I got off work at 7. Long story short she was mocking me and making fun of me while I was on "hold". I had them cancel my order after another person got on the phone.
