I'll start off my saying I enjoy Papa Murphy's pizza so this is a review based on what I know their pizza should be like (and have eaten dozens of times. That said, this location is overwhelmingly subpar. My family likes thin crust but this was so thin it was ridiculous and hardly there. About 1/32 of an inch thick. It was swimming with grease (pepperoni pizza) and did not bake correctly. I baked it extra long to try to get the bottom somewhat crispy when at the normal time it was still soggy but it was no use. My kids ate some of it because they were starving but about 1/3 of what they normally eat. I had a bite and couldn't eat anymore since it was so greasy. This is by far the worst pizza I have ever had from any Papa Murphy's location. I will go out of my way for pizza from a different location in the future. Save your money if you like thin crust and just avoid this place. 2 stars because it is technically edible. read more

We ordered the Chicken Bacon Artichoke Pizza on their $12 Tuesday special. They were quick putting the order together, and we were looking forward to eating it when we got home. However, my husband put the wrapped pizza on the top of our car, to make room for it in the car, after loading my groceries. Sadly, the pizza never made it into the car. We got home and he remembered where he last saw the pizza. We hurriedly retraced our steps, but by the time we returned to where we had parked near Papa Murphy's, someone else found the pizza and hopefully enjoyed it. Well, we went back into the parlor to order a new one after explaining our sad adventure. The gentleman who we ordered the original pizza from then said that the new pizza would be on him. Wow!. Best pizza in town. And half the price. I've been ordering from this store for years. Cook it and eat it up in the peace and comfort of my home. Turns out fresher, hotter and just better than phone delivery pizzas from other places, and at a fraction of the price. Great gourmet vegetarian. Staff is always helpful and friendly. They have a "Take and Bake" club where you get a pizza at half-price after each 12 pizzas purchased. Furthermore, they are Veteran friendly and provide a discount to Veterans. read more

The pizza is always the best but had a bad experience last night. Ordered the Thai Chicken. I said no zuc but add spinach. Never been a problem before. I was charged for an extra item on the pizza which was like $2.50 I also asked for some extra Thai sauce on it and that was .60 The new stores do not post prices for the Family six pizzas so what a surprise when you order two Family pizzas and then they add extra cost to it. This Papa Murphy's has been going downhill recently. Prices are going up and the quality is going down. In particular the artichoke hearts are no longer hearts but leaves. Toppings are sparse when they use to be generous. Time to try another pizza place. read more

It's been a while since we've visited Papa Murphy's in Lincoln. Things have changed. I would prefer they had not replaced their front door and the addition of a new TV and used that money towards more staff. Originally tried ordering via the Papa Murphy's app but wasn't able to enter a code for our free cookie dough. Why? Because the Papa Murphy's text didn't provide a code to use on the app. The app is poor. Takes too long to load and won't recognize .net emails indicating it's not a valid email. So thinking I'm trying to save time, now I'm off to call the store. The phone rings and rings, and rings and rings. Finally someone answers asking me to hold. Then someone else answers and asked me to hold again. When he came back in the line I explained the issue with the app ordering and asked what to do. He had no idea. So I placed my order over the phone. Upon arriving to pick up our order, there's a long line and only one register open. So I wait and wait and wait. I ask the young lady if my order is a family size and she said yes. Upon leaving I think this sure looks small. Asked a pizza maker and sure enough wrong size. They need to slow down a few and think. Management should also make sure each employee knows how to properly use their app. Elderly man beside me ordered three pizza yesterday and arrived home 22 miles away and received three incorrect pizzas. Came in today for replacement ones and expected him to wait in line behind 25 others to get his free replacement - NOT. :( read more

Painful. I've given them chance after chance. Last two orders were done online. Waited about an hour before pick up and still not ready upon arrival. The last time I ordered breadsticks and the guy said they were out and not going to make them they were too busy he would refund me. Great but now what else do I feed my kids?!! Stoped by this evening everyone had smiles and said hello. The pizza we chose was cyo and it was yummy. My hubby is diabetic so we appreciate thin crust. It was so flavorful, the staff seemed productive even tho it was a busy time. The young man working the register with curly hair was super helpful. I love papa Murphy's. Yes! These guys will always say "Yes, we can do that". I will drive far out of my way past other many other stores to go to this store. Dallas toke my order today and Lexi made the pizza, excellent communication, just the way I like it. They asked me if it was correct before ringing me up, very professional. IN ADDITION...Eric, Dylan, Brandon & Sam have been making my pizza for years and they are ALL fantastic. This review is strictly based on my visit to this location. I ordered from a friendly girl over the phone and arrived 10 minutes early so that I could ask if they would be able to make a salad without tomatoes. (If not I was going to get one from the Safeway two doors down.) The girl who I asked was super friendly and said, "Of course!" As she was checking me out another employee came out from the back (a young guy in a tie-dyed shirt and a hat). The girl asked him if he would make a Club salad with no tomatoes and he looked at both of us like we were the dumbest pair of assholes he had ever seen and then disappeared to the back. She apologized profusely for his behavior and seemed genuinely embarrassed. When he finally came back out and made my salad, he looked right at me as he flopped the box on the counter and walked away. When the girl had my pizza ready, another employee who had been busily cleaning grabbed my salad and brought it over to us. Again, more apologies. I have never seen such blatant disregard for customer service, even from a little pricked teenager! As sweet as the girls were, I will never come to this location again. read more

I have always had a great experience with Papa Murphy's and we usually take advantage of the specials. I am moved to write this review because of a single incident. I ordered a family size pizza with extra cheese. When I went to pick it up, it did not look like it had extra cheese, though it is difficult to tell when it is uncooked. The girl at the counter said, "It's on the bottom." I said, "So it DOES have extra cheese, right?" She said, "yes, we call it mozzarella when it is extra..." That didn't make sense so I asked her again, just to confirm. "I ordered it with extra cheese; did they put it on and charge me for it?" She said, "yes." I got home and cooked it and guess what? That's right; no extra cheese. Obviously this is not an earth-shaking incident, but it is note-worthy enough for me to prevent my return. WE rarely order pizza and have recently discovered Old Town Pizza in Lincoln and we will go there from now on; their prices are pretty good. I don't like being lied to and cheated; I don't know anyone who does. That young woman should have made sure that everything was as I ordered it instead of guessing, with apparently no actual knowledge of whether what she said was accurate or not. While I understand that Halloween is one of the busiest days of the year... The service was sub-par yesterday. Online orders were being processed after walk-ins and if your order was promised at a certain time, its was most definitely, not ready at that time and in some cases was not ready even an hour after the promised time! They had no one dedicated to helping with phone and online orders so they were getting lost and misplaced! And instead of the manager being helpful, he was blaming the system for their lack of customer service! If you plan to get pizza on a busy day and the line is long, trust me stay in line, your more likely to be helped with a friendly smile than if you try to save time by ordering ahead of time! I think I will be searching for a different location to get my pizza from in the future... And note to the manager: You sir should take some customer service classes as you do not know how to properly address customers with issues!!! read more
