Jersey Mike's is usually pretty consistent -- good sandwiches, average service, nothing that really stands out. But this location completely changed that for me. I've never experienced customer service at a Jersey Mike's in California quite like this. I wish I had gotten the young lady's name because she absolutely deserves recognition. The employees were smiling, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I placed a mobile order, and it was ready ahead of schedule. The sandwich itself was spot on. When you're on the road eating meal after meal, small things make a big difference -- and a friendly smile goes a long way. If I'm staying at this Hilton again, I'll definitely be stopping back in. Nice and quick service. The subs here are really good and fresh and made to order. I like the turkey provolone mini sub because that's my size. However, if you wanna share a sandwich with your family and if everyone likes the same sub, the Giant is a good deal. Simple and clean and quick. Went to this location for the first time and it was busy during lunch! They had about 5 workers helping in the front so it was moving pretty fast. I ordered their big kahuna cheese steak for the first time and it was delicious! They grill it fresh to order and it was tons of steak and cheese with every bite! If I could rate a zero I would. The woman working Monday night around 6:30pm should not be working with people. She rolled her eyes, was rude and impatient and clearly didn't want to be there. She seemed irritated we were ordering more than one item and tried to make one of our sandwiches on a random piece of bread that had been left on the counter. When the customer is nicer than your employee, you should get a new employee. We went to Togo's instead and were greeted with a smile. Do better Jersey Mike's. read more

We were traveling up from Southern California and needed catering to feed the UCSC Club Softball team. I placed an order earlier in the week with the manager, Rob, and he was incredibly helpful from the start. We had to pick up the boxed lunches right at 10 AM, and Rob went above and beyond by opening the store a little early at 9:50 just to make sure we had enough time. I always see Jersey Mike's but have never entered. I tend to stick to familiar food chains, primarily opting for Subway. However, on this occasion, my husband and I decided to try Jersey Mike's, which was conveniently located nearby our tournament. The customer service was exceptional; the staff was friendly, courteous, and patient with all customers. The place was very clean, the whole area looks very new. Their main cold sandwiches are the ones to pick. They slice the meats and cheeses once you place your order as mentioned. The portion of meats is generous and never have I thought I was skimped. And you gotta have it mike's way. I mean this is what they are known for! Now you got people ordering a cheesesteak or not doing Mike's signature way then use that to represent the entire place? nah bruh. You gotta use one of the main cold sandwiches. My go to is the club sub or club supreme. I dont usually get that rosemary cheese bread because it might make it more salty. The "Giant" size is plenty to share between 2 hungry people. So yea, stick with the common sandwiches and have it Mike's Way. If you are the type to get those overly done sandwiche's like Ike's and not Mike's, then go to those places. The last time I was in the sandwich shop had to have been at least 10 years ago with a coworker at lunch. I decided to get the club sandwich which included turkey, avocado, and bacon. On 1/31/26, my son and I went to Jersey Mikes by Topgolf in Roseville. We walked in and started to order our sandwiches. I noticed that one of the workers had his apron off and went to grab the rugs by the front door. He rolled them and carried it back towards the kitchen and dropped them by the wall in the dining area and kitchen entrance. He carried them on his bicep and forearms ( almost as if he's doing a preacher curl). I didn't think anything of it, thinking the guy who took our order was the one making it. In the meantime , the said employee came around to the prep area and was looking at me while trying to put his apron on. As soon as he put his apron on, he turned around and put some gloves on and grabbed the bread to make our sandwiches while I was looking at him. He started to cut our bread and in my disbelief, I turned around and told my son. We discussed for a minute and we decided to say something. There was an employee by the front door cleaning and I asked him who was the manager. He pointed to a guy with a hat and approached him and asked if he was the manager. He said they didn't have a manager. They just show up to work as scheduled. I'm in shock that a manager was not there. After the same employee finished cutting out the meat for our first sandwich, the employee I spoke with told the dirty hands and arms employee to wash his hands. Another employee started to help making our sandwiches and proceeded with the contaminated bread and meat. I was so disappointed to see how unsanitary they were at making my food. I had enough and told them to stop making the sandwiches and we left the premises. We ate elsewhere. I hope the MANAGER or the Owner sees this post. I went to the Thrive Drive store and stood for several minutes waiting to be acknowledged while one person was cleaning the slicer and 3 others were standing around. Eventually the guy cleaning the slicer asked if I had place an order of which I said no I'm waiting to order. He then said well I'm cleaning the machine what is it that you want? I then told him what I wanted but changed my mind as I did not want to support a location that has such terrible customer service. I must say I am very disappointed in the treatment received! First time ever stepping foot in a Jersey Mike's Sub shop & I wasn't disappointed. Came here for a quick bite with an old buddy of mine & the customer service was fricken solid! I was surprised at how many people were working behind the counter but I was assuming that the orders come out quick & indeed, it sure did! Scoured the menu for a brief 30 seconds & for whatever reason, the words "Big Kahuna" popped out at me like a mouthwatering slap in the face! Not so much because of the picture of pickled jalapeños but more so because Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie of all time & I was hungry af! Now mind you, I've had a Philly Cheesesteak before and it was IN Philly, so I was pretty sure there was no way this could live up to that kinda hype but it def hit the spot of the moment and shut down those hunger pangs that just wouldn't go away throughout the day. I was lookin for a quick bite to eat and glad I came to this joint but I wouldn't particularly go outta my way to get this sub again; however, the Big Kahuna Cheesesteak was piping hot, had some decent flavor and although it could've used quite a bit more kick from Sriracha or somethin, I'd bring packets & throw habaneros on it if I was gonna order this again. The sandwiches were delicious and filling. Bread, meats and cheeses all crackling fresh. A splendid time was had by all.
