Great pizza on time pick up easy cooking instructions! The people who work there are so pleasant and kind and helpful.

So I called at 4:31pm and asked for two large pizzas be ready to be picked up by 5:45pm. I said it 3 times to be clear.. the guy repeated it back to me.. twice.... But some how my husband is standing in the store as we speak at 6:29pm and they're saying it'll still be another 20min.... Their reasoning... we are too busy. This Papa Murphy's allowed someone else to steal our order (they did not check the order number). They first took our pizzas, then came back for the cheesy bread and garlic knots (shouldn't it have been a red flag that whoever took it didn't know the order?!). Now, the manager won't refund me, nor were they willing to give me replacement pizzas and I'm out of our Halloween meal and over $50. If I could give zero stars, I would this place is a mad mess so many times I've had issues with my pizza. Today was the ultimate I called at 11 o'clock this morning so I want a pepperoni pizza you have them on sale 999 I want to use my rewards oh yeah everything's OK... Cause I couldn't get the online to work so at 3 o'clock I go down there and before I even pay, I put tipped money in the jar cause that's how I am and she couldn't get the rewards thing to work and then I looked at the pizza. I said that's not my pizza. It was a shredded pizza. He never told me on the phone. It was gonna be shredded pepperoni if I would've known that, I would've never freaking ordered it, but this happens all the time I end up with pizza that I didn't order because it was incorrectly ordered because they don't listen and when I try to do the online thing half the time it doesn't Work so I told him you know what just forget it and he was so freaking rude. This is our neighborhood pizza joint. For a long time they were very economical! But since COVID the times have caught up with them and they aren't as affordable as they used to be. The coupons used to be amazing, and now they are lackluster. But they will accept old coupons! So for that I'm very pleased. Their service is great but it's rare to see the same staff more than a few times. High turnover for sure. Just don't come on Halloween- utter chaos! Ah Papa Murphy's on 42nd in Milwaukie, how sad that we must break up. Having been a loyal customer for years and having forgiven you for the numerous times my pizza was made incorrectly I now fear the time has come to end this relationship. Walking into your location tonight past the couple smoking right outside/at your entrance and inhaling the amazing aroma and smoke from the burning cigarets was so very unpleasant. Oregon law prohibits smoking from within a 10 foot radius of the entrance yet no signs are posted nor accommodations made for those who choose to smoke. Once passing through the and entering the establishment with child in tow, I was looking at the menu and the clerk who was obviously having a very bad day asks "can I help you" in a very monotone and. It wanting to be bothered fashion. I replied one moment and read brought the menu again with the kid to figure out what we wanted I approached the scowling clerk to ask "is your creamy garlic sauce made with dairy" (hey many forward thinking restaurants in this amazing foodie town offers dairy free options) and I got a reply that made it abundantly clear she was having a crap day. Her countenance even got worse and she barked at me like I was an imbecile "uh yeah, it's ranch". I said ok then and looked toward the menu and told her "we would like the garlic Mediterranean" and the order ended. Another patron came in the opposite doors we entered in a rush and said "I called an order in" to which the clerk immediately started addressing her and bringing up her order. The new customer stopped short, unsure if I was being helped or she was and the clerk motioned her up and started running her up. I informed them of my opinion and left. In a town with so many options and different tasty meals at your disposal, customer service is paramount to your retention of customers. Ok Given Tuesday and Covid this location failed beyond my expectations. Drop in order face to face for two pizzas 1 off the menu and the other a bit alternated. Then I have a choice to wait in my vehicle and they bring it out. After 15 minutes I go inside...right... they are just finishing wrapping it up....1 pizza was very very light on toppings .Tbl spoon size. The other was not to order. Ha and I feel stupid not watching them make it cause..well this is it. No thanks Take your 12 tuesday and every other day of the week and fix your chain! Sad and they are expensive! How many times have you ordered something online only to have it delivered and it was wrong? Or how about you bought it frozen in the store and it looked nothing like the box when you opened the oven door? Or how about your pizza tasted like rock salt, cardboard and bark dust? Yeah, no Little Caesars for me, either, thank you. I went to Papa Murphy's last Sunday; didn't order ahead. The guy behind the counter was a lanky high school kid, overall nice guy. I ordered a Medium Cowboy Pizza. I don't know what I was thinking - luckily he knew how to up sell and I gladly bought a large Cowboy Pizza for a buck more. Can't beat 24% more pizza for only one more dollar (as he put it). I was sold. Happily awaiting his construction of my work-of-art lunch, I was amused how I was the only one in the store. The employees informed me due to the unseasonably warm weather there was less of a crowd because believe you me this store is always hopping busy. He finished my pizza. I took it home and cheerfully put that large round pie of yumminess in my hot oven in a warm kitchen on a sweltering unseasonably hot spring day. It was sooooo good. Nothing like rewarding yourself with good pizza. Treat yourself to Papa Murphy's Take and Bake Pizza knowing it's made fresh for you. Order ahead or show up at the door. Ordered online. Said it would take just over 20 minutes. Showed up right on time, but took another 20 minutes for our pizza. Feel like I would've gotten faster service if I would've just walked in... and I could've used coupons and saved additional money. Over 40 minutes for 3 pizzas seems a little ridiculous! Most pizza tastes great, Papa Murphy's pizza tastes cheap to me. Like the dough is too chewy. In addition, who the hell wants to pick up a $20 pizza and then have to cook it themselves? I like their pizza but will never go there again, because the customer service at this location is terrible. An online order was placed that was supposed to be ready at 5:15. I got there a little after 5:30, and they had no record of the order. When I got home, I called to ask what happened and give the order number. Employee Khalid hung up on me. I went here once at closing and they offered me premade pizza's for half off and cheesy bread for a buck. They were very nice and helpful.

This was our first visit to this store. The people were great, friendly, courteous and respectful of our time. The wait was a bit long but we expected it since there were a few people in front of us. We patiently waited not thinking much of the wait. When our order was ready, they apologized for the wait, thanked us for our patience and offered us a free cheese bread or cookie dough. I've been a regular patron here for the last 2 years. I haven't had a bad experience yet. The pizza is awesome and so are the staff. I once called in a pizza to the wrong location and they called the other location to fix my goof, then they made me my pizza with a smile. Doesn't get any better than that.
