Reading so many negative reviews across so many different Papa Murphy's locations made choosing a pick-up branch just that much more challenging, but I am so glad I gave this Renton store a chance. Pizza was ready on-time per online order. As you can see, the pizza was loaded with generous amounts of toppings. However, there seems to be less than average amount of barbecue sauce spread on the dough. Staff was friendly and professional with the pizza prep station looking clean. Food : was actually finally good. Mind you I haven't had it in like 10 years because in my previous experiences they were nasty every time I tried. We have pizza night on Fridays and just moved and my husband was like let's try and my first response was eww they always disappoint and I'm hungry. Bae bae Idn if it was cause I customized or different cause I used pan crust but OMG. I'm like hold up. Hubby tried and was like wait I like this way better than Pizza Hut and Dominos. When I picked up the pizza I had orders it online and wasn't aware of how to do self pickup so after waiting in line a short time I walked over to the sign that said it and Trevor showed and explained. I ordered cookies and forgot them too. When I called Trevor was really nice over the phone and said he apologized and to come pick them up. I returned the next day and Jeff was there and I was raving on how good the pizza was and explained past experiences and he said it just depends on who makes it. Price wise I will say if was a little more than expected but as an added bonus they do accept ebt so that's probably why although that wasn't my method of payment. I paid like $27 for a large which technically was like $20 but it's a small size so next time I need an extra large but online didn't offer for the custom one read more

I ordered the Gourmet Vegetarian. Extra garlic sauce and made a few adjustments with the standard toppings. I have frequently ordered from this location and about 90% it's very good. Tonight it was outstanding. All for only a little over $18 including 20% tip. You just can't beat the value given the quality of ingredients. Super friendly and helpful staff too. read more

Ordered a simple pizza while they were making it I went next-door to grab a coffee I got to chatting with Daniel next-door who is awesome and fabulous by the way I forgot all about my pizza!!! Yes I forgot to pick up my pizza!! Everytime I come to this particular Papa M location, I tell myself its the last time. Well last night was the straw and Im a camel. The crust stuck to the tray they provide and a few slices felt like they had sand sprinkled on them. I dont know if the spinach wasnt properly washed or what. Not pleasant. I called in my pizza in advanced about an hour before arriving. Then they said "Sorry ma;am someone gave your pizza away.' I was extremely upset at this how can you give away someone pizza that they called in and then make like it is not a big deal. So then they offered to re-make what I had ordered and this is where it just went to hell. So lets start with the absolutely I dont care about you customer approach they seem to have here. When I asked the lady named Jada about it she gave me some mis-guided response "because we are so busy." That is un-acceptable, then when re-making the pizza a family sized bbq chicken pizza. She added only a hand full of chicken and onions to the pizza. I thought to myself this is not a medium or large pizza, it is a family size that is meant to feed my two kids and my husband. So I asked could she add another hand full of chicken, onions and cheese. She told me that will be an extra dollar for each. I told her ok that is fine but they never charged me before when I called it in of which was given away. Then when making the pizza I asked please make sure it has extra sauce when making it then she dropped the top on the pizza and then picked it off. I asked can you re-make the pizza, With much attitude and a very un-comfortable sigh and look she tossed it away like I had done something wrong. At this point I did not feel welcomed and was very upset that the pizza had to be remade and I had to repeat myself three to four times just to get a simple family size pizza corrected. While I do understand the employees work hard and they probably do not get paid very well at least they can treat others with respect and good customer service. No one wants a pizza that is not done correctly or has fallen objects injected into it. I just wish I could give them a 0-star for wasting my time which when I got there was about 20 mins. Nicest and politest girls work here! They were busy for a Thursday night, but the girls were so friendly and helpful. Pizza was good (ordered a vegetarian as well as a pepperoni and mushroom) and it saved me from having to make pizza dough, cut up veggies and shred cheese. My boyfriend and I decided while we were out running a grocery errand that a chicken garlic pizza from Papa Murphy's sounded good. Luckily it was also $12 Tuesday. You get a large at a discounted price :) you can't beat that! We walked in and the first gentleman to greet us asked if we needed time to decide on our order. I responded that we were actually ready and he smiled and asked what he could get for us. What I really liked about this young man was that after we had ordered and paid he asked one more time if there was anything else he could do to help us out before our pizza was done. And the other young man who seemed newer to the job was also kind. Their manager/lead was rough around the edges and very rude to them. She was lecturing them in the front of house while we were clearly all watching them. I felt like she could've given instruction with a kinder tone than barking at them. I love Papa Murphy's and always have, but I'm officially divorcing this particular one. Every time I go in I see a different staff, that are always friendly but none of them seem to understand the concept of LIGHT sauce and heavy cheese. Tonight I went in for one last shot, and they didn't have anything but some kind of cinnamon dessert pizza in the display fridge. No salads, no nothing. This used to be one stop shopping for all of the eaters in my house but tonight was pathetic. They don't take coupons online or in store, no handing out of coupons on the pizza, no military discounts, literally all of the things I've had at every other franchise store this one doesn't do. Tonight I needed a mini murph for a picky kiddo. None ready, but I can wait while they make one. I asked for a medium instead. They're out, but for $1 more I can have a large. So you're out of what I want and my only option is to give you more money for something I didn't want? Two toppings on one half/cheese on the other and with extra cheese (which didn't end up actually being extra but an adequate amount) that's right...$20. Pagliaccis is far superior for $20, I don't have to use my own time, energy, gas, etc. cooking it either. I'm honestly shocked having had such excellent experiences at other stores...the person/people who own this one must be greedy or absent or something, because this has ruined this company for me. The one on 4th in Renton is fantastic, but it's too far to drive on a tired Friday night with Pagliacci's up the street, the upside down tavern on Rainier, and MOD moving into the area. Get it together...you're losing people who used to come in 1-2 nights a week. This was the first time in two months and is definitely our last. read more

Attentive, smiling and pleasant would be how I'd describe the service during my last three visits here. The pizza is decent too. First time to get pizza from Papa Murphy's we got a family cowboy, family chicken bacon artichoke and a family Hawaiian pizza cheese bread and cowboy cookie dough its SO YUMMY!!!!!. I had just gotten off work and called it in and they said it would be about 45 minutes. I arrived about 15-20 minutes later and when I walked in i was greeted my Dorothy and a employee named Jordan with great vibes and kindness they then asked me what my name was and Jordan went to the pizza rack where all the call in orders and online orders were at and said here you go its all ready for you. I was in awe because they said it would be about 20 minutes. I checked out went home and cooked it my family and I were so pleased with the out come. The Renton Center Papa Murphy's is a stand-by around our house. If we can't figure out what to do for dinner, we'll go grab one of their pizzas. While it's not top-notch thin crust gourmet pizza, it's definitely delicious, convenient, and inexpensive. Yes! YES! Love getting pizza from here. Living in south Seattle, this is the closest location to me, so sometimes it's a little out of the way but always well worth it. The store is always clean, the staff are engaging and friendly. It's such a good value for what you get. The pizza is fresh, made right in front of you. No clean up at home. Just throw that sumbitch in the oven and in about 20 minutes you've fed your family. What's not to like? I also appreciate that in addition to all the ingredients being fresh, that they are one of the few large chains that don't use MSG. AND, they're a local company. Employees consistently make pizzas with a skimpy amount of toppings on them. Their stuffed pizzas are a joke. Have been refused service more than fifteen minutes prior to closing time before. One individual let me order and pay for a medium chicken bacon ranch ($14) without even slightly hinting at the fact that it was the first day of a month long promotion where any large pizza could be purchased for $10. I like this location, the people who were working tonight were nice and friendly. My complaint is with Papa Murphy's in general. We got two large pizzas tonight, and regardless of toppings (we got three on one and two on another just FYI), the $28.00 price is ridiculous. Especially when it's not being delivered OR cooked for you. PM's claims they their ingredients are fresh and that's why the price is what it is. But the chicken tonight was fatty, the pineapple is all the same size (usually indicating frozen, not fresh), and the bacon was barely noticeable. The quality is not equal to the price. We've gotten pizza from Dominos that was so much better tasting and of a lot better quality for at least $5.00 less. We won't be buying from PM's anymore. This was the third time we were disappointed. Never again. read more

The pizza is fine, tastes like every other Papa Murphy's... but the people who work here give some of the SLOWEST service I've experienced. They don't seem to care about their jobs or take it seriously, they only do the bare minimum. When I come in they are not overly friendly, sometimes they don't even make eye contact or greet me. And when I call in an order I've been put on hold multiple times and left on hold for over 5 minutes, at which point I run out of patience and hang up. This has happened to me 3 or 4 times, now when I am asked to hold I just hang up and try back in few minutes because I know they won't come back to me once I'm on hold. read more

I love this pizza BUT the staff here is terrible and the service is lacking almost every single time. They have no clue what they are doing. The last 3 rimes have been ridiculous so time to make a review. First off call calling ahead is pointless you will still have to wait so be prepared. I called 30 mins prior to arrival and then still waited for over 20 mins when I got there. Each and every time I call I have to repeat my order multiple times. I am not saying like 2 or 3 times either, more like 5 or more. They even have a new menu style to pick crust, sauce and toppings so I am not sure why the person on the phone cant get a 4 topping pizza request correct or why I have to repeat it 3 times, then be told "hold on a sec" get put on hold and then have to repeat it again.... And then AGAIN after the person who took my order tried to repeat it and got it wrong. It doesn't stop there either. Getting rung up is like pulling teeth out of these kids. It has almost always taken two people to ring me up because someone else from the pizza line will have to come save the first person. Try throwing a coupon on top of your order and it can be even worse. Even as I write this I am baffled, how hard is it to take a pizza order??? read more
