Visiting my sister from out of town and she recommended this place. We ordered ahead of time and the service on the phone was not great. When we went to pick up our order, it was still not ready and the service still sucked. The pizza, breadsticks and Caesar salad we ordered were all good. The restaurant inside was clean, nothing special and parking was a bit tricky. I would try them again just hope they work on their customer service. No one dinning in with one other person there for pickup. Seems everyone else was at the other restaurants nearby because they were all packed so that was interesting. The veggie pizza was very standard. Nothing to write home about, just regular, fine pizza. The autumn harvest pizza was dry. Loved the idea, but I really, really wished I had access to some dipping sauce to cut the dryness. We got the largest size for two pizza and it was more than enough for the two of us. We should've got the medium size. I'll usually drop in for a slice of pepperoni and whatever else is on a rotating special. They go fast, so you might need to pivot or order ahead to ensure they have what you want. Not a problem, since the app is well designed and built around the rewards program. For a whole pie, I really like the Brooklyn Bridge. It's basically an everything pizza that can sub in for the discontinued Costco combo pizza. Sometimes I'll go halfsies with a PSR, which is pepperoni, sausage and ricotta. Drizzle on some chili oil at home and you're golden. Lastly, love Pagliacci's commitment to sustainability and carbon neutrality. I've been to the other locations and had amazing pizza and great service. This was my first time at this location and despite the pizza being good I had the worse customer service experience. I have a psychiatric service dog. He is trained and is under control and well behaved at all times. When I came in to order pizza, without asking me anything one of the workers came around the counter and walked right past me to point at a sign that said No Pets Allowed, Service Dogs Only. This guy did not even think to look at my dog who was wearing his service dog vest or ask me if my dog was a service dog. Instead he proceeded to tell me I could order and eat outside. Then he rounded back around the counter and stood there staring at me. I'm hoping this review will provide feedback for better training of their employees to recognize and respect that there are people who live their lives with an assistive dog. People with assistive dogs should be able to go about their lives as any other person without discrimination. read more

A recent order confirms our long standing appreciation for Pagliacci: good, if not necessarily great..,dependable in a pinch. Our two large pizzas were ready and delivered on time. (They use a good app that updates status from order to delivery.) Both pizzas were well-topped, one veg and the other multiple meats that had some nice variety. Again, good. I love Pagliacci pizza! I'm from NJ and impartial to NY style pizza, so in my search of it I stumbled on Pagliacci. It is definitely NOT NY style nor do they claim to be. But it is good, really good. It's more like authentic Italian pizza, and I love their seasonal toppings. Other things I love: their app is awesome, when I call they know who I am, they have never made a mistake on our order (and we've been ordering from them once or twice a month, even pre-pandemic), and they are super fast with our delivery. They also give a free treat from a local company (like a restaurant or bakery) to the first orders of the day. It's really fun and it helps support another business. Another thing I love: the pizza always arrives hot. They were also one of the first to take serious precautions against COVID, whether for pickup or delivery. They had dividers up to protect the cashier back when grocers first started doing it. My faves are the Rocket and the PSR Combo. So good! I've been ordering and coming into Pagliacci's for 25+ years. We are fairly new to this neighborhood and I've only ordered twice. Once, I would say was typical of what you would get from a Pagliacci's... a tasty well-made pizza with a decent amount of toppings. The last time we ordered however the pizza was slightly undercooked. The sauce was thin, and the toppings were sparse to say the least. The pizza still tasted good, but did not live up to the high praise that I had given it when lobbying where to order from my teenage kids were unimpressed, although teenagers typically are. We are hoping that our order placed minutes ago is up to the high standard I expect from a Pagliacci's. The Columbia city location is clean, and the staff is polite and courteous. read more
