Who doesn't like sasquatch?

Solid slice! Great flavor and texture. Friendly service. Fun box. If there were only three pizza places in Seattle and this was one of them, life is good. Post Alley and Stevie's Famous would be my other picks

Two slices of pizza, Parmesan cheese and a Rainier beer.

I love Pagliacci Pizza so much. It's affordable (on average only $5 per slice), hot and fast service. My building manager at my apartment first told me about it when I first moved in and I have been hooked ever since. Every now & again on a Friday night when I do not want Domino's or to grab a frozen box of California Pizza Kitchen at the grocery store I treat myself to some Pagliacci!

Autumn Harvest - seasonal item
Teresa M.

I was in the area for a Yelp experience and wanted some dinner to go along with that...enter Pagliacci! In the spirit of saving time I opted to order online. The website was easy to use and I really liked that they know it's takeout and didn't push tips. I walked in for pick up around dinner time and the place was basically empty. No one dinning in with one other person there for pickup. Seems everyone else was at the other restaurants nearby because they were all packed so that was interesting. The employee promptly asked if I was there for pick up, rolled her eyes, and pointed me towards the cubbies. Thanks, I guess? I went with a veggie and a seasonal autumn harvest. The veggie pizza was very standard. Nothing to write home about, just regular, fine pizza. The autumn harvest pizza was dry. Loved the idea, but I really, really wished I had access to some dipping sauce to cut the dryness. Overall the pizzas were fairly good, but the service made me feel extremely unwelcome and I don't see myself stepping foot inside here again.

Free slices of Pie, I got double pepperoni and Italiano slice. The double pepperoni was too salty and greasy but that made sense. I can fold the slice and eat it. The Italiano was better. I did not think I was going to like it. It has roast garlic and Spinach. There was only one spinach, may be that why I like it better. Never heard of the place before and came here to try their pizza.

The Rocket

I got The Rocket , 11" that came out to $23. It was perfect for myself and a quick walk from my apartment. Service was great and the wait time was accurate. I came in on a Friday night and they were pretty busy but there were plenty of tables available to dine in. I ordered online and the process was simple and easy.

A local place that does slices right! I love a good slice of cheese or Hawaiian (don't judge me). My daughter and I swear by the Sicilian Chicken Salad. Even if you don't like pizza go for the salad, it won't disappoint. Parking is not fun... they have a few stalls behind the building or street parking in Columbia City is your choice.

Slim pickings in terms of what pizza slices they had available on a Sunday night but they were still good. There was cheese, extra pepperoni and the da vito (I think). The star of the meal was the seasonal salad- heirloom tomato caprese. It was super fresh, light and you could taste the freshness of the tomatoes and high quality of the cheese, the salt and basil added the perfect amount of flavor.

This was my first time eating at this location. Was greeted and welcomed in upon arrival. I was very happy to see "the Italiano" on the slice bar as I had been wanting to give it a try. I ordered a slice and 2 cheeses. I was very happy my pizza tasted fresh and hot right out of the oven. Lots of seating and open space. Customer service was friendly and fast. I would recommend trying this pizza spot out I reckon you won't be disappointed! I'll be back!

I've always heard good reviews about this pizza company and I decided to try it out. We got the PCR pizza, which included pepperoni, sausages, ricotta, and mozzarella. We got the largest size for two pizza and it was more than enough for the two of us. We should've got the medium size. The bread of the pizza was the perfect amount of crispiness and I had to finish it. The pizza sauce was delicious and full of flavor. The pepperoni and sausages were good, but I wished they added her. The services were fantastic. The servers were friendly and generous with our questions and showed genuine kindness. The pizza took a bit of time to make, but in an appropriate time manner. Quality pizza takes time to make! The ambiance of this restaurant provides an authentic pizza environment. They display premade pizza for those who wanna grab pizza quickly. It's visible to see the staff in the back make pizza. It was cool to see them toss the fresh dough. Overall, I very much enjoyed my experience here and recommend this place for pizza lovers.

Pizza is very tasty, but on the greasy side. Salad was good. I don't think the food is stellar enough to warrant the high price.

Tucked down the alley by the gum wall, it's a great option for wood fired pizzas. The space is fairly small and very low-lit, but thriving with energy. Our service was fantastic, drinks were good, but besides the pizza the food was pretty hit or miss. We had a table of 4 and we kept the table full the entire time. We started off with a salad, spicy mac n cheese, cheese sticks, and Brie and cheese. Salad was light and refreshing. The cheese sticks were pretty normal, but also good. The spicy mac n cheese to me had zero spice. Just some mac in a cast iron pan. The apple and Brie had a nice presentation but the smallest amount of Brie possible(my picture was too blurry to post). The Broccolini I am not sure how it was defined as broccolini because the 5 pieces that came on the plate were huge. While packed with flavors of lemon and Parmesan they had a very tree like feel and were a bit on the harder side. The El Diablo pizza, to be straight forward was by far the best part of the stop. The crust could have been a little more well done, but that's just me splitting hairs. I ate more of that than anyone else. Probably could have finished it myself if I hadn't stopped for a lobster roll beforehand. Either way, great service, good drinks and legit pizzas!

Karin has taken care of us countless times, whether it's a quiet Monday or an absolutely packed one due to the events at the town hall across the street, and they have always been warm, patient, and accommodating. I actually celebrated my birthday here because it's one of my favorite spots. I am part of the large group that one of the recent negative reviews is referring to. It happened immediately after the USA FIFA match, and the restaurant was the busiest I've ever seen it. Despite that, Karin still went out of their way to accommodate our requests that normally wouldn't be possible due to the rush, including trying to help with separate tabs when they'd already explained that large groups would likely need to stay on one check. As for things like grabbing water, silverware, plates, or chili flakes...our table had already gotten those before a majority of the group arrived. It's a casual pizzeria, on one of their busiest days ever. Setting and cleaning up the table (especially when seated outside) is not a problem for our group as we do it every week. Which is why it's upsetting that we opened our spot to someone that left such a nasty review. What stood out to me wasn't poor service. It's that despite how overwhelming it must have been to work post-FIFA, Karin was able to take orders, bartend, serve food, and close out checks with professionalism. Sometimes no matter how much effort someone puts in, not everyone leaves happy. The pizza is fantastic! I love showing up every week and trying what new slice they have come up with (in the year that I've been coming here there legit hasn't been a repeat). The atmosphere is great and the staff, especially Karin, have earned our loyalty over the past year. We'll absolutely continue coming back.

If that line is intimidating or wet (think rain!) then duck inside to Pizza and Pasta Bar for a delicious meal. While there we met the owners Bruno and Goli who were helping out behind the counter. They are the nicest people ever! So friendly and accommodating and always smiling. Their pride in their restaurant really shows in their care of the food and customers. I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). In a medium nonstick pan, large tong full of wet noodles, one ladle of white sauce, toss them together. Boiled chicken pieces, BOILED chicken tossed into the pan. No seasoning or shredded cheese, or Italian seasoning. Served in a plastic to go container that cost 1.85 extra bc it was to go since they wouldn't allow us to sit w outside food. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

I got a slice of Italian supreme, which has everything. Now looking back though I wish I had gotten one of their Turkish dishes as I would have liked to try their lahmacun and read another Yelpers review and this place is supposed to have the best Turkish lahmacun in the US. Oh well, I guess I will be back! The woman heated up my slice and after a few minutes, it was ready. I took my slice and went to sit outside near Pioneer Square so I could be outside and people watch. Pizza was tasty and solid, but the crust was too dry. I have a feeling the slice wasnt the most fresh, so thats why the crust was a bit dry. But, if you know me, I do jot like soggy pizza (I mean - who does??), so a bit drier isn't too big an issue. The rest of the slice was good. Slice of pizza and a diet coke came to close to $9. Gosh things are so expensive now. They do have a special of 2 slices for $8.99 but I couldnt eat two slices. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.
