This is the third and last time we will order from this location. What I asked for is very simple a large pizza with no sauce, mozzarella cheese and sausage. Not so difficult right! My wife has been ordering this ever since this location opened. What my wife came out with was no sauce, pepperoni, sausage and white and orange cheese. She told me the man was arguing with her. When I went in he kept telling me she ordered it like this and was arguing with me. He kept insisting that she was wrong. The reason we get the pizza this way is so that we can make smaller calzones. Located not far from the freeway in the shopping center as Nugget. I have purchased multiple times since before and during covid. The shop appears to be clean every time and there are measures to keep staff and those patronizing safe. Orders can be made online, in store and over the phone. Whichever way the orders are placed, I have yet to have any issues. Pizzas are made efficient for to take and bake at home. Staff is friendly and efficient. I love the energy the employees have when people come in the door. They seem to enjoy work. There are always promotions to save money. Great for when you have no clue for dinner. My family likes their pizzas and they are at a very affordable prices. Especially if you use their coupons or their frequency card. Every 10 pizzas you buy you get one at half off. I love Papa Murphy's. I miss them since I've been living in the Los Angeles area for the past 2.5 years. I wish we had them down here, but the only time I get to eat Papa Murphy's is when I go for a visit to my Mom's. It had been a long day and no one felt like cooking anything to eat. We had just got back from a mini-road trip and wanted to eat something quick. On the way back, I got the idea to stop at Papa Murphy's. We didn't call it in because I didn't know the phone number. But it wouldn't have mattered anyway. When we got there, no one was there. We were the only ones. That was awesome, because it meant a short wait for our pizza to be made. As soon as we ordered (the Murphy's Combination for $14.99 - family size), they set to making the pizza in front of us. That's what I love about take 'n' bake. You can actually watch them make the pizza in front of us. No sooner than we ordered, we were on our way home with an oven waiting to cook this massive pizza. One day I hope this chain makes it to Southern California. They bring in great business and the pizza is amazing when you eat it. The best thing about their pizzas is the plentiful size for what you pay. Most of the time there are leftovers and they taste just as good the second day as on the first day. By the way, this is a brand new location in the Roseville area. They are in the same parking lot as the Nugget grocery store. The parking lot has ample parking spots so there should never be a conflict or competition for spots. read more

This is the "Herb Chicken Mediterranean" pizza purchased from the 731 Pleasant Grove Blvd Roseville Ca franchise on 6/13/2020. It has very few vegetables and almost no chicken. (But lots of processed cheese folks!) It is part of Papa Murphys acclaimed "Artisan" pizza collection. Staff at this location, as with any Papa's we've been to, have been welcoming and friendly. I've never had an attitude or any other nonsense you might encounter at other chain pizza places. The screaming lady Halloween night at Papa Murphy's? That was me... Used the online ordering tool, which meant now the pizza was paid for. Promised availability 15 minutes. Three families Halloween plans tied up in this outcome. I show up, thirty person line and 30 minute wait to get in the door. This store did not manage the line. They did not offer solutions. The pizza had not been made yet despite the promised pickup time. I was trapped bc I had already paid. I called the store twice while standing in line, explaning that no one in line was letting anyone into the door because EVERYONE thought they had an order in, which in my observation was not true because I'd watch them go to the order side of the store, not the pickup side. Inside the store, the cashier gave excuses instead of offering solutions. I felt unheard. Turns out, if you feel unheard for 30-40 minutes, stuff happens! In the end, I was screaming, something i think I have never done in a store, because I had been trying to enter the store or feel heard for over 40 minutes, for an order I'd already paid for, and even once inside no one stepped forward to manage this situation. My observation is that you had twenty indians, no chiefs, and if just ONE employee had gone out to do line management, the whole store would have benefited. I hope someone in authority thinks about my situation in the light of what ELSE is going wrong with this location. The disconnect between corporate love branding and local execution is clear as day. Normally I dont have a problem with Papa Murphy's Pizza but this one is poorly run. I came here 2 weeks ago and paid for my pizza that I phoned in and then no one handed me a pizza. I just stood there while the guy walked away. He soon returned to help the next customer. I had to awkwardly turn to my right and ask for my pizza to one of the girls making pizzas. She had to ask for my name (again) and then get it from the rack. My most recent visit involved pony tail guy. My amount due for 2 pizzas came to $29. I asked pony tail guy if he used the coupons I gave him and he rudly snapped and said "yes I used them all". He then handed me 3 pizzas. I said I didn't order 3 and the other 2 pizzas aren't correct either. He gave me a bunch of attitude and tried correcting me (the customer) in how to order a pepperoni pizza with no cheese on half. Apparently you need a degree in pizza making to know the correct way to say it, which acording to him is "half pepperoni and sauce". He felt the need to correct me so whatever dude. He then angrily punched in the new total in the register which was $20. I then asked (for reassurance) if the other charge was voided. Again he snapped loudly "well of course! We're not going to charge you twice that would be stupid!" The girls making pizzas were friendly and actually smiled. It was the kind of smile that said "Yes... we have to put up with this clown all day... every day". I wont be going back to this location until management... manages? Pony tail guy needs to learn sone serious customer service and social skills. Or he could be a double for Napoleon Dynamite. That might work out better for him. read more

The pizzas always have the right toppings whenever I order. I like the little Mini pizzas for the kids. I was a bit skeptical about "take and bake" pizza but decided to try for the first time. We walked in and were greeted by friendly and helpful staff and very clean facility. Within minutes, we had our pizza, all wrapped with instructions, and were back in the car headed home. Baked per instruction and, I must say, was pleasantly surprised with the tase, quality and value of the pizza. It was better than most pizzas I've had in town. I like the Papa Murphys on Douglas Blvd, everything is always good, my problem is their website that doesn't always work well. Once while ordering had the Roseville Douglas store as my store and paid for it and the system changed it to the one in Granite Bay which is a few miles down the road. Another night I tried to order online and it wouldn't take my gift card for some reason, so I waited a few weeks and it worked fine, so the following week I am doing a order at the Douglas store and after I paid for it the order was sent to the Rio Linda store, so I called them and they canceled it, now I have been working for a week trying to get my credit back on my gift card. This location has been consistently good. Every pizza we order, even with special requests, always consistent. Toppings always fresh, staff friendly. We usually get the gourmet vegetarian and have chicken added. I like to add fresh basil at home before I stick it in the oven. Kids love the "Mini Murphs" and making their own pizzas. The crust tasted very bland and I would highly recommend not getting the pan crust. The pizza didn't seem like it had extra sauce on it either. I have no issue with the location or the customer service my issue is with the New Buffalo Chicken Pizza! it sounds amazing right? it sounds like buffalo wings on a pizza right? well the truth is it is not....in fact it is far from it.....which left me supremely disappointed last night.....don't get me wrong the pizza tasted good and the ingredients were up to standard (my wife loved it however she does not appreciate spicy food) there was a minimum of buffalo sauce, it did not taste like chiken or "buffalo" wings at all (especially compared to BJ's chicken buffalo pizza) and frankly I feel that they are false advertising. Had to get that out....if you want a pizza that is spicy and taste like buffalo chicken then this one is not for you. Like I said earlier it's not bad tasting just not what I expected :) read more

As I carried it out to the car it was apparent they were skimping on the toppings. I guess with COVID, they are looking for cost savings. Baked it up and I will say I give the pizza a 3 out of 10.
