For that cost, I should have ordered another large pizza instead, but so it goes. The employee who helped us was friendly and easygoing. Since we were passing through on the way home, I appreciated that they had a small dining area with several tables for dine-in service. Overall, the pizza was underwhelming, like I noted before, but although they had good toppings and cheese, the crust lacked flavor. Papa John's already messed up our last order, but they promised to make it right with their so-called "quality guarantee." We called on April 25 at 2:56 PM to cash in on that promise. The manager on duty was completely unhelpful. Fast forward to 3:37 PM, I called to check if DoorDash had picked it up (since there's no way to track it), and surprise: they hadn't. The manager again just offered to wait until 4 PM and send a driver. At that point, I was done. I told her to cancel the order and hung up. We ended up ordering from somewhere else--and guess what? That place got it right the first time. This whole thing was supposed to be a "make-good" for their previous failure, but somehow it turned into another disaster.
