This was good! Was at the Crocker Art Mix in March and ordered SPICY RONI $19 - Tomato sauce,…read moremozzarella, pepperoni, jalapeno, hot honey. A shareable size. I'm giving just 4 stars because the honey was sweet but not that spicy and the jalapeño was more of a bell pepper - also not that spicy. But the thin crust was good and I didn't have to wait too long. Service was inviting and informative. I liked that they had a buzzer to tell me when it was done which made it more of an appealing vibe. Other food trucks had people waiting around for the name to be called - the buzzer is WAY better. The food truck itself is gorgeous. To see the wood fire over from the big windows was super cool!

I've been wanting to try Bella Familia for the longest time and I was finally able to today. I work…read moreat a hospital that does food truck Fridays and Bella Familia was part of the lineup. I walked over with my coworker around 11:45 and luckily, there was no wait. Thanks to our Philanthropy team I had a voucher for a free meal that I was excited to use. The service was lacking, the person who took my order seemed annoyed that I was using the voucher so that was a bit of a turn off. We ordered the Garden Vibe and got our order in about 10 minutes. Despite the service, the pizza was DELICIOUS and I love that it was a thin crust. The portion size originally looked small but I was able to share it with two of my coworkers and we were all very satisfied. Overall, great pizza but the customer service aspect of my visit could have been way better. If I see the truck around and I'm in the mood for pizza, I will definitely get it again.

Shoutout to Shingle Springs, CA. Delicia Restaurant…read more This small family owned and operated Mexican restaurant captured my heart after every minute passed while dining and after every bite. It was my first time here. The welcoming vibe, clean and simply quaint interior, very cool family staff, comforting yummy food and pricing made it a 5 star for me. I ordered the carne asada plate $18 that came with beans and rice. Mmm. Delicious. The meat had flavor, nicely cooked. Easy to cut with the typical restaurant steak knife( which you and I know isn't really a steak knife) but I'm saying this to make a point of the quality and tenderness of the carne asada. Refried beans and rice were on point, great flavor and consistency. But those beans were so good, I'm still thinking about them. Plus I had no after effects (chuckle) which means they were prepared well. The entree came with tortillas and condiments of chopped onion, cilantro, cream, gauc, and limes which not alot of restaurants provide. The entree was served on a warm plate. Nice touch pro touch. The chips are complimentary and self serve. The chip warmer is near the register. They provide the red salsa to your table. The chips tasted fresh and had a crispness. It held up after a bite and didn't fall apart. The salsa was phenomenal OMG yum, beautiful color, rich flavor. Mmm. Hubs ordered a tamale. $7.50. It was a good size, bigger than what I thought it would be. Check the photo I posted. That too was served on a warmed plate. The red sauce was OMG delicious. They give a generous serving of sauce. But you'll eat it all with the biggum tamale. Now to address the elephant in the room. (1) Since it's family operated and small staffed, that comes with potential wait times. Not loooong waits in service but not instantaneous either. In a fast paced world, even initially I thought 5 minutes was an eternity between seeing our server before I actually realized it was only less than 5 minutes. I survived and didn't collapse due to dehydration of not having my water glass refilled. Momentarily not having fresh napkins doesn't fall under survival skills. Possible wait time is mentioned in the menu. (2) The last seating is 30 minutes before the closing time. This is also mentioned on their menu.

Stopped in to try this restaurant for the first time and ordered food to go. The wait was about 20…read moreminutes, which is understandable since it's a small family-owned business. The chips and salsa were delicious, and the rice and beans were very tasty. The enchilada sauce was outstanding and really stood out. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. There is a wait for food due to the small staff size, but this is clearly mentioned on both the menu and the website. If you're in a hurry, this may not be the best choice, but if you have a little patience, the food is well worth it. Overall, we're glad we found this place and look forward to returning in the future.
