Went back in after the remodel for "kids eat free Wednesday " to see if it has gotten any better. Called ahead to ask about the stipulations on the "kids eat free Wednesday" and was assured by the host "anything off the kids menu is free with an entree". Ordered our 2 adult and 2 basic kids entrees. When check comes the manager says we should have read the fine print as posted in the bathroom and at A frame board on Francisco. Nothing in the actual restaurant. Server didn't know. Host didn't know. Awful advertising if they are trying to get customers in there. Locals beware. read more

Apparently the hardest thing this restaurant serves is hospitality. I tried this place over a year ago and left after standing at the host stand for five minutes while employees somehow mastered the art of looking everywhere except at the waiting customer. Against my better judgment, I decided to give them a second chance tonight. About an hour before closing, there were maybe a dozen people in the entire restaurant. After waiting several more minutes to be acknowledged, an employee finally wandered over and, with all the warmth of a parking ticket, told me the dining room was "closed" and I'd have to squeeze into an already packed bar. Meanwhile, the dining room still had multiple occupied tables. So apparently it's open enough for the people already sitting there, just not for paying customers who walk in. I said, "No thanks," and got exactly the reaction you'd expect: complete indifference. It's honestly impressive to have two visits, over a year apart, and manage to make such a consistently terrible first impression both times. If your business model is making customers feel like they're interrupting your evening by trying to spend money, congratulations, you're nailing it. I won't be making the mistake of giving this place a third chance. read more

Fried ice cream is a must love the cereal coating on it. It definitely gave me sweet tooth vibes as I'm writing this. The churro and ice cream combo was great too. . The Mexicano plato is a new favorite. It has a little bit of everything. I love the Carne which is thin and flavorful. Comes with chicken taquito and is Crispy filled with shredded chicken. Love the Jalisco Style Enchilada which was simple and cheesy. The chili rellano was my favorite soft and cheesy gooey. . Queso Blanco dip with Chorizo was creamy good. Also the different salsas and habenero salsa was spicy flavorful. . The aguachille with green salsa was soooo good, I used it and dip everything with it. The spice level was so perfect but then eventually caught up to me. . Inside is big with a nice bar area, dining area, even have a party room that fits up to 80 people. Parking is in a nice shopping plaza. . Tacos with steak and chicken and bacon mixed together is wow and anything with bacon is a yesss. . Overall we had a great experience with mama. A Hidden Gem La Cascada Family Mexican Restaurant is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in the region. The service was attentive, friendly, and fast. What truly sets La Cascada apart is the authenticity of their food. Every dish is bursting with bold, rich flavor. Their Fajitas and Fish Taco's are the bomb!! The tortillas are fresh, the salsas are perfectly seasoned, and the menu has a variety of traditional favorites and unique house specials that will keep us coming back. The restaurant itself is spotless, cozy, and welcoming--cleanliness is clearly a top priority, which only adds to the comfort of the dining experience. If you're a sports fan you can eat in the bar while watching multiple games. I tried a new beer in "Victoria" that has become a favorite. 7/17/2023: My party and I sat at the bar lounge despite, there were several dining tables opened. We waited fifteen minutes before anyone took our drink order, tortillas and a small dollop of salsa were served then, another ten minutes passed when a wait staff decided taking our food order but, they NEVER GAVE US THE LA CASCASDA MENU . . . We had to go hunt for a menu ourselves--WTH!!!! Despite waiting a total of twenty-five minutes for ANY wait staff taking our drink order and food order, I FINALLY ordered La Cascada's Happy Hour Street Tacos; HOWEVER, upon receiving the Street Tacos twenty minutes later: The Street Tacos were egregiously BLAND, i.e., NO CHEESE, NO SALSA, NO FLAVOR~WTH!!!! Disappointingly, I had no choice but, add the leftover salsa from the tortilla chips due to there was no salsa accompanying the street tacos when served despite, hailing the wait staff-AGAIN requesting more salsa. Moreover, the wait staff didn't provide water refills despite, the weather temperature was 103° Fahrenheit! Furthermore, I requested one napkin which never arrived when the Street Tacos were served . . . Service was sporadic and grossly inattentive. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT! read more

Their food is so greasy to the point every time I've eaten there I go home with an upset stomach and a raging head ache. The food just taste so bulk made, and low quality... We had a wonderful dinner here tonight! A delicious, huge Top Shelf Rita (not too sweet) and with fresh orange was great! My hubs had ceviche that he said was delicious and fresh but wished it had been a tad colder.. My wife and I stopped by for lunch. There was only 1 other person in eating. We set for 15 minutes and Noone came to help us. We didn't even get water. I could see if the restaurant was busy but when there is only 1 other customer we should have been served quicker than ever. We finally had to leave because we had an appointment. We decided that we would not go back. If I could give less than 1 star I would. The food may be good or even great but if you can't get waited on it doesn't matter what the food is like. read more

I have had people brag about this place and how wonderful their food is. I tried it 9/9/23 and I was just not impressed. We received lousy service and the margareta was terrible as well as the food. Food service was horrible. I had to wait 45 minutes just for 2 carne asada burritos even though there was only about 5 tables occupied in the whole entire restaurant. Then there was no utensils or even napkins in the bag. It's impossible to eat a wet burrito WITHOUT UTENSILS AND NAPKINS! Needs to improve customer service. read more
