5 stars for pizza. 2 stars for food other than pizza. 1 star for price. A large plain pie itself is $15.95. Garlic crust is a MUST! $3 for that. Add pepperoni $4 Every extra topping is $3-4. That's an insane price for toppings. And if you get something with toppings included and remove one, the price does not go down. Cheesesteaks are burnt and tough on the roof of your mouth to bite into. Not a lot of flavor either, don't bother. Wings must've come from baby chickens cause they're so small. Buffalo sauce is just Frank's Red Hot. Don't bother. Garlic knots were ok. Just stick with garlic crust pizza. You'll give your left arm for toppings, but woo that pie is good. read more

Went here last Tuesday with a friend for a couple of slices. Ordered two each, 2 plain 1 Buffalo Chicken and 1 Ranch Chicken. ALL 4 slices were stale and dried out. Sorry, but all that amounts to us poor quality control. Should be monitoring how long pre-made pies are sitting out before serving them to customers instead of making fresh pies. The site advertises that the white pie has fresh garlic. We ordered one but there was not a shred of garlic on it. Very disappointed but gave the place a call. Their response was: Oh, well, you can ask for garlic"!! Why would we do that when it is listed on the site? We didn't have to ask for pizza crust, mozzarella, or ricotta. They were so unconcerned about their mistake and made no attempt to rectify it. We knew better than to have anything delivered since there is a rep in that regard. It's probably my favorite pizza and I've never been able to get one anywhere as good. Let me start by saying they should have an adult there to answer for the mistakes made as a result of absolute incompetence! My order was placed at 5:15...at 6:50 my order shows up and it's wrong. I ordered a large sausage and broccoli rabe sandwich ...I received a GRANDMAS PIZZA WITH SAUSAGE AND Broccoli rabe = $23. Not even close and a huge price difference !!! I Called to ask what happened to my sub and was told by a young girl on the phone that they were very very busy and very very sorry and if I wanted they can get the sandwich out to me but it may take some time because they are very very busy. They never offered a refund for the error- and the pizza was not even edible- overcooked to the point where the crust would break your teeth! First time ordering from this place & definitely the last. Huge disappointment. read more

Wow. I ordered the chicken rustica along with an order of wings. Well the wings were fine. The entrée was terrible. It had a sour taste and was completely, 100% inedible. This was a delivery and I called to complain, asking for a refund. The manager gave me the third degree and a whole Lotta attitude. Wow I can appreciate that he did not like to hear that his product was sub car I did not appreciate the crappy customer service and the lack of ownership for the problem. Frankly IMO He should have been apologetic and offered a solution such as a replacement meal, a credit for a future meal or just a refund. What a joke. Hank is back!!! Tossing a great thin crust which is hard to find in the area. I mean a true thin crust not the traditional crust . Thin crust not your style they do have a great deep dish pizza as well. Just ordered a plain pie wings and fries with cheese and bacon, for starters the pizza was ice cold, the wings were so over cooked to the point that they were dried out and had a bad smell to them and the bacon in the Fries was so chewy and under cooked my husband couldn't even eat it I will never order from here again, so gross. read more

If I could rate with negative stars I would. The service is absolutely horrible. Extremely unprofessional. The counter people talk poorly to customers as well as having bad attitudes. The food is good don't get me wrong, but the wait time for the food is definitely not worth the quality of it. I recently ordered and was told the wait for pick up was 45 minutes. Over an hour later they tell me again that it'll be another 30 minutes. I don't know how many people they have cooking, but I guess it isn't enough. Multiple people waiting inside for their food told the people behind the counter to cancel their orders. I also did the same. Papoulis is definitely losing a lot of business as a result to their poor quality of service and lengthy wait times. Twice now they have been incredibly late with my order, with no communication at all - the entire point of using the Slice app to order is that they are supposed to give you updates. Papoulis doesn't understand that function. When I followed up on the most recent one, the girl that answered the phone was rude. I am a pizza fanatic and have yet to find a pizza place ANYWHERE in Ocean County that's good. My son kept telling me to order from here and I didn't listen because he thinks Dominos is good !
