Absolutely the BEST local pizzeria! They always have a great selection of fresh pizza slices ready to go -- the Big Mac slice is hands-down my favorite. The chopped salad is also incredible, especially with their homemade vinaigrette, which is packed with flavor. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Ridiculously good pizza and garlic knots! Stopped here to pick up pies for a family gathering. Staff was super friendly on the phone during ordering and in person for pickup. Super attentive too. They have a parking lot and a cute outdoor setup as well. The pizza is delicious, sauce is perfectly sweet and savory. The crust was delectable. Nice amount of cheese. Really no complaints. I ordered online with a credit card and was charged a credit card fee which I feel is abusive. Increase your price and don't charge me for a convenience both you and I enjoy. Just wanted to share a wonderful act of kindness.. so Pies Place in Bayville not only has awesome food and pizza, but a wonderful owner!! I received a phone call from Jess (owner)telling me that when she was going through receipts she noticed I probably made a mistake and added an extra zero on my bill when I picked up takeout over the weekend. It ended up being a $200 mistake I made!! She not only called me but offered to drop off the money AND was so nice! In my opinion there are two types of pizza places, the type where the plane pizza speaks for itself, and the second type is a pizza place that makes due by providing all types of gimmicky pies. Pies Place fall somewhere in the middle, but they actually pulled it off. First off their plane slices and Sicilians are above average, especially for the area where a good pizza is not as readily available as it is up in North Jersey. The pizzas got a nice crust crunch, and the ingredients are all pretty fresh and high-quality. They also have a large selection of specialty pies with everything ranging from the standby "Granma pie" to their twist on what's called a "Chick Fila slice" which pulls ahead of the crowd with tender chicken pieces and waffle fries on top of a sauceless pizza. They have enough variety in pizza to keep most families happy and the quality of their ingredients definitely stands out. I had a baked ziti which really wasn't worth writing home about, but their sauce was noted as being pretty decent. Overall this is one of the better pizza places in the area, definitely the best mom and Pop style place in the Bayville region. I recommend walking in and trying a variety of the different slices as opposed to just buying one single kind of pie. I'll definitely be back read more

Hello fellow yelpers I'm new to the area, and struggling to find my go-to places. I tried a few places for pizza. Seems "chuck-E-cheese" style pizza is fairly common around here. That's almost a crime in New Jersey. I've been hearing good reviews about the Pies Place but the business wasn't listed on Yelp. How is that possible? So I'll gladly be the first! The pies place this is by far the best pizza in the area.. Thin crust, great selection of toppings, i tried a straight cheese pie and a bacon and tomato.. both outstanding! Similar to a good bar pie. I genuinely don't know how this place does it. I am the PICKIEST eater, which is only amplified by the fact that I'm pregnant. Somehow, everything is delicious. The Chloe salad is a personal favorite- that dressing has something addictive in it, I can't get enough. I always request well done chicken in whatever I order, and every time, it's p.e.r.f.e.c.t. Super bowl Sunday? We were the heroes with the wings, people devoured them. Wanna know how I KNOW this place is the place for me? Ordered from pies place for the first time tonight. It was a large order with a few customizations. Everything was perfect with the exception of a small miscommunication with a salad. We called and received amazing customer service. No business likes to have a complaint but there was zero attitude over it and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Within 10 minutes they were at our door with a brand new salad at no charge and it was exactly the way we wanted it. All the food we ordered was AMAZING. Definitely have a new pizza place. Order a California chicken cheesesteak you'll probably get a regular cheesesteak. Order extra dressing? You won't get it. Don't bother saying no onion or tomato on something.
