Had a craving for pizza and this place did not disappoint. Small storefront but plenty of seating even if you want to stop in to enjoy a quick slice. Friendly staff and very quick service! Ordered a variety of slices including the cheesesteak, taco, Buffalo chicken and the margherita. All very good. Each slice had great dough and texture and the toppings on each slice were abundant! I'm not much of a French fry person but I gotta admit they were great! If you love a thicker boardwalk-style fry that has some delicious seasoning on it, it's a must! We've ordered out from here a couple times & it's usually ok. Tried their Lucia panini today & after a few bites I just couldn't continue. The portion is huge-enough for 2. Flavor wise it's very bland, greasy & soggy. The bread is too thin & airy therefore it ended up being very soggy & not NOT crisp as a panini should be. The eggplant is fried, rather than grilled (which is a better option for the bread they use) flavorless with balsamic glaze & pesto that made it inedible and just a soft, soggy mess. Fries were good but undercooked & soggy due to the wet pickle being placed right on top Mozzarella sticks were pale in color & also undercooked. Fried mushrooms with the horseradish are always good. Wings & their special cheesesteak were just ok. Lunch for 3 was $90 - not cheap for such disappointment. read more

I would give this place a 4 1/2 if possible, but it isn't. I rounded up because the staff was friendly and the place super clean which is important during COVID more than it normally is. My only complaint is that I didn't much like the consistency of the first. I'm what some would call a "pizza snob" and I guess this place didn't quite meet my expectations of Jersey pizza. We live about 4-5 miles from the restaurant and they deliver, would it not have been a more proper response to simply have said, "Our mistake, we will get you out what you ordered right away"? That certainly did not happen and then it just escalated to speaking with a female whom identified herself as "The Manager". She offered absolutely ZERO help and was condescending to say the least so the conversation was relatively short due to her arrogance. We concluded that we'd just dispute the charge with the credit card company and dispose of the pizza that was 100% wrong, how do you wind up with Sausage and Green Peppers when the order was for Pepperoni, Sausage and extra cheese? We just dug the leftovers from the fridge and made due but I can't explain the attitudes we received from two different employees over what they eventually confessed to be an error on their part . . . My family & I have been vacationing in Bayville the past two summers & this is our pizza spot. There's plenty of pizzeria's to choose from in the Bayville area, but this establishment is the top one! I've never had a bad pie from this place & always enjoy whenever we order from here. I highly recommend the grandma's pie, as it has plenty of sauce & very cheesy as well. For people who are gluten free, they have plenty of gluten free pizza to choose from. They also give you a plastic cutting knife with the gluten free pizza so it is not cross contaminated at the place. Also, their buffalo wings are excellent & have a sweet tang to them.
