Worst service I've ever experienced my friend didn't order food because they wouldn't take her order. Never go here!

I'm recovering from stomach surgery, and can only have liquids. No problem! The waitress immediately suggested straining their homemade French onion soup... it was *delicious.* His Goatness thought the pulled pork sammy was alright, although the pork had a slightly odd taste, and the fries arrived cold. Very rustic ambience, quite affordable price tag, great problem-solving waitress! Stuff I saw but can't review: THEY HAVE A CHEESECAKE BAR. They have a cheesecake and a cake of the day. Alright y'all... I'm checking that out next year!

George Washington officiated his burial. Okay, let's get to the fun! Why the heck is this business a little over 3 stars...you got me; I have no idea. It's probably a straight 4.5 star, I'm giving it a 5 based on my experience. But it should really settle as a 4.5 once the whiny people show up. I ordered the country fried steak with a side of coleslaw and potato salad. They accidentally brought a baked potato instead, but quickly corrected it and told me to enjoy the free baked potato. :). I liked this entree a lot! My oldest ordered pork nachos for dinner and they were HUGE. My wife got a pork sandwich and she loved it. Youngest got a kid meal and he ate it all. Best thing was their beer prices. They had 3 buck domestic beers which included, everything domestic. Meaning, I drank some awesome micro-brews that would have been 8-9 bucks anywhere else, for 3. Service was great. They have an ice cream shop inside. I strongly recommend this business if you are in the area or are in Ohiopyle. We visited because the only sit down in Ohiopyle was closed on Wednesday. Not a bad drive. Great food, great beer, great service. Enjoy!

Stopped here while in the area for dinner. This had been on the list for awhile, and able to…read morefinally get here and try it. Kind of a cross between a sports bar with TVs and projector screens, as well as dark walls and dark wood dining. It was pretty quiet when we were there - kind of weird being a weekend evening, We started with some appetizers: bruschetta, steak egg rolls, and fried pepperoni. The bruschetta was good - executed properly and textbook. The bread was toasted but a soft bite - just the right amount of tomato and balsamic. The steak egg rolls were also very good - had a kick with cherry peppers inside. Comes with ranch as a dipping sauce. The fried pepperoni was different. The breading struggled to stay on the pepperoni but it was good overall. For my entree I went with the red chicken parm. It comes with pasta (billed as made from Scratch) and red sauce. There were two hamburger-sized chicken pieces, breaded with cheese and a small amount of sauce on top. I felt like the cheese on the top was scarce - should be more. Upon first bite, I was throttled with the flavor of salt, heavy heavy salt. I tried the other piece and the same. I don't mind salt items but this breading reminded me of overuse of the chicken seasoning pack in ramen, and was just over the top. Pasta was ok. For dessert - since I didn't eat much of the entree, I went with the chocolate cake. Holy hell it's massive. The picture doesn't really do it justice. It was immense. Cake was good - though kind of dry at times. Our waitress was nice - attentive and responsive to us throughout the meal. Would try again - I would say really this is closer to a 3 than a 4 but. Whichever.

For brunch I got the Cajun shrimp avocado toast and I will be thinking about it for weeks to come. So, so flavorful. As always, the staff was super thoughtful and went over everything with us and the atmosphere was great - can't beat it.

Our server was also wonderful and honestly one of the highlights of the night. That said, the food experience was a bit disappointing, especially for the price point. The Miyabi Maki sounded amazing on paper with lobster, wagyu, and caviar, but the caviar tasted overly fishy and didn't seem very fresh. The octopus was dry, and some of the dishes felt too rice-heavy, including the sushi and even the amuse-bouche. The sea bass was probably our favorite dish flavor-wise, although the rice underneath seemed undercooked. Service timing was also quite slow -- we were there for over two hours despite the restaurant not being busy, and it took almost 50 minutes for the first course to arrive. Again don't think it's the server's fault but when the food was available Overall, we really wanted to love this place and are hoping it may have just been an off night, because the setting and hospitality definitely have a lot of potential.
